great - got mine on order in the UK arrival in Spring 2022 - getting thorough check to welds and underbody electrics may need further insulation plus will get mine rust protected underneath ... money well spent
Have you watched AMI STYLE a you tuber in France a lot of people are commenting on the poor build quality electrics and welding with no help from Citroën so far they have sold 100 AMIs in the UK and deposits for 1400 I hope they need MOTS after three years I hate to think after a couple of winters what shape they will be in
@@brianhardern273 understood Brian .... I plan to get my garage to spray the underbody and to recover the electrics as exposed underneath .... anticipating this... I believe that the Twizy is probably better built... still going to continue with my purchase...and keep it garaged !
Man what I could do with one of these Opels if I could get my hands on one here in the US. Install some sound proofing, install a small electric rechargeable heater system and a small recirculating water cooled fan, a wireless sound system, some better padding on the seats, tinted windows, a couple of cup holders and lastly some improvements in the battery pack and thus the speed and the range... all without adding even 100 pounds to the vehicle. It would still be only for getting around town, but in better comfort and style.
@Sesarrbg well, some golf carts are already even more loaded than anything I described but they are far more expensive than anything I also described. However you miss a big point in that golf carts are not considered legal street vehicles, even if you upgrade them, unlike the Opel here. I don't golf, so I don't need a golf cart of any kind that I couldn't drive legally on the street. Not to mention I'm a major tinkerer... I have a tool and machine shop and I would get great joy out of a project like the one I described, so I wouldn't see it as a troublesome thing but rather a cool thing to do.

No airbags? We turn back to the 1920 just a car with a washing machine motor that is all, if you get wrecked by a car or SUV the rock e or AMI is a mortal trap
As someone who doesn’t want to get a scooters drivers license this is sadly useless because by the time I have my car license I will be allowed to drive regular cars
No matter how small or slow your car is if youre 15 and you dont have a drivers license you shall not be participating in traffic on streets, you cut me off and ignore the yield I am demolishing you with my 2 ton car..... And I am not looking towards jail time. I sincerely hope EU bans this nonsense. Kids have no business behind the wheel of any car, fast, slow ,big or small... Who's bright idea even is this?
Maybe they'll consider slightly stricter regulations where one is required to prove basic traffic knowledge via a test of some sort before being allowed to drive one of these. There's something similar in place to ensure Swedish teens can drive a car at the age of 15. We did a story about it too: ruclips.net/video/LZpVwP7Qhg0/видео.html
Ridiculous! Imagine if an Eastern European company made this, it would be a laughing stock. You know what this is? This is a golf cart with windows and without the space for golf clubs.
Of course you need licence for scooters / mopeds… Imho driving this would just annoy other “normal” drivers, the veichle is just too slow for normal traffic
Would you drive this car?
Hmm! Yes Want Drive It if got it ?to have 24 Kmh- to45km but Speed mitter Show. 50kmh
i wouldn’t even be a passenger lol
Yes!!! Wish we had these in Canada.
Kost 189 euro per maand...!!!
Yes!
Even my vacum has a spring loaded cable retracting mechanism
Why does in cost Euro 1000 lesser in France?
Looking forward to seeing how each person individualizes their own

You might as well convert a golf cart if you want to tinker that much

Unfortunately in The Netherlands you still need a license.
So it is in Germany, there you will also need a moped licence. No difference.

Das nog vrij goedkoop als je het mij vraagt
Hmm! Melko Varma €€€
A SUM car is a very short distance away from being called something else.
Cruising Urban Mobility 😂
Isn’t that a Citroën
Good eye! The Citroen Ami is rebadged as the Open Rocks-E in some countries. :-)

literally a copy of the citroen ami
this is awesome...except price, 10k with tax, go duck yourself Opel
Ceci ressemble beaucoup à une Citroën Ami, c'est quoi ce foutage de gueule ?
Same car, same factory, different branding in different countries.
