The earlier the better! We want to have the most time possible on the ship.

We have only gone on Carnival cruises so far. I like to board in the middle of the boarding process. The initial rush is gone but there is still plenty of time to board. I dont like carrying my carry on around the ship until the staterooms are ready.

We were on this ship on March 3rd through 9th. Trivia/game show host Robyn is awesome haha. Such a great time

7:58 Neither the painting nor the golden sword are actually from Treasure Planet. That's Captain Mary Oceaneer and her talking parrot, Duncan, which are part of a fictional club called the Society of Explorers and Adventurers or S.E.A for short. S.E.A. is a shared-universe (like the MCU) created by Disney Imagineers that's unique to the Disney Parks and cruise ships. Both Mary Oceaneer and Duncan originated in the raft ride, Miss Adventure Falls, at Typhoon Lagoon in Disney World.

@@ForLoveoftheMouse No problem. Btw, there are actually some Treasure Planet Easter eggs that can be found on all the Disney cruise ships (except for the latest one, the Disney Wish). Since you were in the Oceaneers Lab, did you spot a few pieces of concept art from the movie in the animator's class room? Did you even hear music from the movie playing in the background while you were there? And did you know that in the Animator's Palate during Pirate Night, concept art from the movie is shown all over the restaurant? Also, there are clips (along with some concept and story art shown) from the movie that play in the same restaurant during the nights when Animation Magic (the one where your drawings come to life on screen thanks to Sorcerer Mickey) is happening.
@@1992disney I did see the artwork by the tables, which was why I was so sure it was Treasure Planet. Did not know about Animators Palate though, I have to watch for it now. Huge fan of little things like this, so its very appreciated

I absolutely was fascinated by the 180 we did at the cruise port in New Orleans and equally shocked by the fact we were on the Mississippi for 8 hours! We are from St Louis so the Mississippi isn’t novel to us but I can’t imagine being able to do this by our St Louis Arch!
