    Tip for sweet tea drinkers: In your refillable and insulated drink container, you can add a small amount of hot water to your sweetener of choice to make a syrup and then add the tea and ice!

      Here's another idea, when at the dining room ask the assistant waiter for simple syrup. I did and he made me sweet tea. I had it for all 7 nights. This sometimes works with other lines.

    Bringing an old card to use for the lights is a good tip. But better yet, glue a magnet to it. Then you can stick it to the wall above the switch when you pull lit out, and not have to try to find it when you come back to the room. And this tip isn't (or at least wasn't) important for the Magic and Wonder. They did not have the key switch, you just turned lights on and off normally. As far as I know that's still true, but I don't promise that those ships weren't refitted when I wasn't looking!

    Piggybacking on the dining thing. You don’t have to order off the menu of the restaurant you’re at. All three restaurants have the same kitchen so don’t be afraid to look at the other menus if you can’t find something you like. I was even able to get some Buffalo wings off the room service menu. Just keep in mind that you can’t get anything off of the special menus like pirate night except during those nights.

      Great advice and this is why Disney cruises, kitchens, and the servers are the best...On our Dream cruise I loved the Black Truffle Pasta from Animators Palate so much and was raving about them to our server. The next night (at a different dining location) our server just came over with a big smile on his face and put a plate of them in front of me! (I didn't even have to ask) WOW!

    I'm considering using a TA just for the on board credit. However, I like doing all my own planning, hate delegating, and would stress out over not feeling like I'm in control of my own reservations. Any tips or reassurance that I can still manage my own booking, while using a TA? If I book with a TA can I still do online check in on my own, or would they have to do that for me?

    • @maeg3582
      @maeg3582 9 месяцев назад +1

      I use a TA all the time just for the on board credit. However, I make all my own reservations and online check ins myself. The only thing the TA does is book the room and pay the reservations. Everything else I do myself! No worries, you're still in control!

    • @GingerMMT
      @GingerMMT 9 месяцев назад

      Most of my clients prefer to book their own activities and I require that they do their own online check-in since they have to upload citizenship docs, give permission for kids clubs, etc. You can totally book with a TA and not give up control of the planning.

      Last Nov 2023 sailing on Magic - we were not given bandanas on Pirates night. Later I found out that it was because we did not have kids with us. Luckily I bought old ones with us. Not sure of that’s a new thing or was a supply issue.
      On the Wish in Jan 2023, we did not receive any even with a kid with us - so we bought them from the gift shop (we liked them better as they were black). If you have a set - best pack them and not need them.
