I went for the 36mm white quartz version with my toothpick wrist as it’s thinner, reliable, more versatile than my automatic divers (skx013, ds action 38 for eg). Pictures and vids doesn’t make justice, it’s stunning, with yacht master vibes. Plus the most comfy watch I've ever had ;)

I've bought the turquoise Seastar 2000 almost two years ago. It's a nice watch. And while I'm not the biggest guy with the largest hands, personally I think the 46mm's of it is quite bearable, and looks good too!
Great input - thank you! Yep, this a very good example on why not to judge a watch by it size based on the milimeter. Sometimes the best is to try it on and see how it looks on YOUR writsize.
What does the painting look like after a couple of years? … it scratches easily??
@@lra7307 What paint? It's stainless steele and sapphire on the outside plus the ceramic. Looks like new after about 2yrs of carrying it every day.
I got Seastar 1000 Powermatic two days ago for 551 Dollars and it's awesome, although I didn't get green one but with this price I can easily buy some new Seiko with less water resistant level so this is totally no-brainer for me
I got the alpine green version of the Seastar 1000 automatic, just an amazing watch for the money ❤
This is definitely the best Tissot review I've seen thus far and I've watched many because I'm interested in this watch just unsure whether I want the 1000vs2000 but this video helped me make up my mind thank you for this video.

The Seastar 2000’s are the best watches in the world in its price range.
Nice big manly 46mm dial makes smaller ones look like cheap toys in comparison.

amazing video! the seastar 1000 and 2000 today offer so many premium features for under 1000 euros! ceramic bezel, engraving numbers, 300m, screw down crown, bottled dome sapphire crystal, open case in the back, and pm 80, also the dial is excellent!
Indeed, for sure you get the max in form of functions and features for the amount of money you spend. Besides that, it is not only the fair price and the features but the high quality.

I have the 46mm Seastar Pro with Blue Strap - Gorgeous! Buy!!!
I have a preference for automatic movements, but the Tissot Seastar Professional would totally overwhelm my small wrist. Tissot, how about producing a non-Pro version, using the Powermatic 80 with case diameter around 39-40mm, as well as a b it thinner. Since most people are wearing diver watches for the style but would never wear their watch in a lake or ocean, a version without the Pro features would be welcome.
Since the style of the Seastar is quite bold, maybe you should try the 36mm version.
Ordered the black coated version with the blue strap. I am still waiting for it to arrive just in time for my summer holidays 😂

i have plan for TISSOT SEASTAR 2000 PROFESSIONAL POWERMATIC 80 600 mm , but recently Rado Captain Cook 300mm 1000 ft has also come which one is better ???? Please suggest Watch expert guide because its an huge investment
Hello Paradeep, when we compare the technical features we notice there is no big difference between these two watches. Only the style is different: While Rado goes for a more vintage look, the Tissot Seastar is more modern. Personally i feel like the Tissot is more adaptable to any style since its design is more neutral compared to the Rado Captain Hook. I have the tissot 1000 seastar gold black with black rubber. And it is better than prx
in what terms? They are so different...all a question of taste.
@@LesAmbassadeurs-Watches it is better because it looks more luxury, elegant and also prx is very popular every one have it on the other hand seastar is something different. There are many watches with gold colour however for me none of them looks as elegant as seastar. When I view my watch, I feel like i am wearing a golden bracelet. I actually hate golden bracelets on man But this one looks different
I bought a Seastar Professional 2000 aqua color, but after a thorough day by day inspection of the watch, I noticed it's losing 3 to five seconds only in 12 hours. Is this normal? Is there a + / - adjustment in the motor? Will it cancel my warranty if an unauthorized watch repair/adjustment is done? Please advise.
Basically your timepiece has a difference of around 6 - 10 seconds per day which in this case is within the tolerenace. Tissot states on their website following: The majority of mechanical watches (excluding certified chronometers) have average precision tolerances of between -10/+30 seconds per day.
More money for Swiss as compared to Orient. But, a must have.

Hey man question: on the black /blue one the material on the strap is embossed cow leather (and the back is rubber) would an all rubber strap be better for diving? Or..?

Yes indeed, full ruberstrap would for sure be the ideal solution. Would avoid leather espacially when it comes to salt water. In general, leather is more sensetive to sweat, water and any liquids.

I bought the black one , like the watch but the quality is a bit to be desired, had it since Xmas and the rotor spins when you wind it and it vibrates. when i looked it up its a known problem on these watches.

The black gold pvd u mean? Just got the blue because i dont wanna trust that bezel ring not getting dinged up as I intend to use this on a Daily basis. I got an all gold prx and seiko anyways. And also an alpinist baby with gold indicies. So blue was my call
Should not be a concern, unless you have huge scratches.
Is it me or the 2000 model wave dial is copying Omega’s seamaster 300m?

Personally i think that the black/gold dial is more subtle, timeless and does not follow any trends. Therefore, this is a combination you will like even in 20 years from now.
The blue one is a more straigh forward, sporty and dynamic version and i feel that the blue one is the "modern" intepretation of these series.

Can you share the reference number? The one you mentioned is not a 2022 novelty?
I was considering to buy a previously launched version of a sea star but 43 mm is far too small for me but 45 mm has sundials which are useless in my opinion. Where to buy it? Haven’t seen it in 🇬🇧 high street shops yet. And how much does it cost? Your channel is very impressive l must admit. I decided to subscribe.

The black & gold pro is beautiful but 46mm is ridiculous, 40 - 43, you would sell a ton of these.
Ridiculous for you maybe. I want a Seiko Willard but it looks tiny on my 8.25" wrist. Most dive watches are too small for me so leave us big wristed guys a few options OK?
@@adamski101 Well I guess you found your watch but a Sub or Seamaster is right at home on an 8.25 wrist as well. I understand your point but 8" is just not that common.
@@adamski101 The new Tissot 1000 Powermatic 80 with a 43 size bezel engraved and a blue face with stainless steel band is super nice bought it last week, very nice size to it and catches lots of looks a statement piece for sure.
This size would look great on me. Little people need not apply.
I love it but it looks like a kids watch on my wrist 🥲 and the 43mm fits my wrist perfect but i would like the watch to be berween 39 and 41mm so i could wear it with suits and sporty clothes. It would be so much more versatile.
I bought the tissot seastar 2000, The bezel what not very tight, and the more i spun it the looser it got. This watch some great features, but also some real cheap ones. Waste of money :(

If you wouldn`t have told me, i don`t think i would have noticed it that much. Personally i think it fits the overall style of the watch and blends very well with the rest of the watch.
