    I purchased the Seastar 1000 Powermatic 80 on a steel mesh bracelet. Tissot has allowed me to own incredible Swiss made timepieces usually well above my budget. Amazing watches, love my Tissot's!!

    I own this watch on bracelet..... and i can say its built extremely well and can compete with watches nearly 3 times in price. Clicks a lot of boxes not only as diver but a great everyday watch having features like magnetic resistance and basic shock resistance at this price point is unheard of.

      All mechanical watches have basic shock resistance even at a very basic price point. As a dive watch IMHO Seiko Prospex 62mas is better. But love Tissot's dress watches

      I’ve recently purchased this watch the quality fit and finish is phenomenal! I own a Oris Aquis, and Omega Planet ocean both respectively 2.5 to 6 times the price of this watch it matches them in build quality. Its also running at +1 second a day that’s better than both my Oris and Omega that are at +6 seconds and +3 seconds a day.

      @@rjunuh4084 though its movement is C07.111 its still based off a heavily modifed reliable workhorse ETA2824. Only downside is they pulled down the frequency from 4hz to 3 hz beats thats why we get the jerky movement but rewarding it with 80hr power reserve

    Tissot makes great watches. They probably are the best bang for the buck for watches under $1,000.
    I have a Gentleman Powermatic 80 and a Quickster Chronograph that I'm very pleased to have. I just bought a PRX 35mm as a gift for my sister.

    • @tyronnezx
      @tyronnezx 2 года назад +3

      I agree. Tissot has an insane value proposition that not even the more expensive cousins under the swatch group can beat. I own a PR50- my first watch with massive sentimental value and now a Chamin de Tourless that is far more gorgeous than the omega deville. They look similar but the Tissot hands down beats the omega. For a diver, i settled with a longines hydroconquest which i will pickup tomorrow, but the Seastar is a better build imo. The only reason that i didnt pick it up is due to me, having two Tissots already

    Just received mine. It's not too big at all.
    My wrist measures 7,1 inch (18,0 cm) in circumference and 2,2 inch (5,5 cm) in width and it really looks great.
    And it's SO beautiful to look at. I also like the strap which gives the watch a "lighter" look 👌
    The version with the bracelet is too bulky and heavy looking in my opinion.

    Lovely looking overall, great specs, super value and long power reserve. I have a 7 inch wrist, but the 46mm case and almost 16mm thickness is too big IMO. At this entry price, why not go thinner and offer a perfectly acceptable 300m depth rating ? - no pro diver would ever select this for commercial or saturation work. I may feel differently once I get my hands on one to road test.

    I just picked one of these up for a good deal used, and I love it!
    It is a bit larger than I'd like ideally, but it's still nothing really crazy (I have about a 7.1 inch wrist, and this is about the maximum size watch I would wear).
    But I went for this instead of the smaller SeaStar 1000 model just because of the dial! That's really the best part of this piece, the waves catch the light really beautifully and in different ways under different lighting conditions, it's hard for it to come through on camera, but it's really cool in person. I feel like Mr. Wonderful collecting a dial like this!

    I absolutely LOVE the watch and with that I adore the strap, the look is incredible BUT it's made for a smaller wrist. the average 12h strap is 80mm, this one is 71!!!! SO when I put the watch on because of the weight of it it tilts because the back buckle can't reach the middle of the back of my wrist. I had to buy a standard black strap from Tissot 80mm at 12hour and 125 at 6 hour vs this stunningly beautiful strap that it comes with that is only 71mm at 12 hour and 118 at 6h which is really a bummer. I'd actually wear the original strap even though it's slightly off center because it's so unique and stunning but I know it will wear quickly because it barely fits my wrist (and I am not some extremely large guy. I'm pretty average at 6' 200lbs. Wish they would make a normal size strap for the watch. I called them and they don't

I am very disappointed about this said « Professionnal » watch…ISO6425?? Don’t make me laugh.
