Nothing will change. 14 out of 18 seasons without a playoff win. Consistently collapsing at the tail of seasons. Archaic offenses that don't put points on the board and a swiss cheese defense that runs the same scheme every year. Nothing will change.

Thanks for using my J1Q DK. I listened to Tomlin’s presser today. At some point, we’re gonna have to figure out if Justin Fields has improved or not. I think Tomlin and Rooney are going to be on the same page about needing to score more points. It doesn’t make sense to commit long term to Russel Wilson. There’s some aspects of his game that seem to be really limited. I’m really intrigued to see what we do with our running back situation. Jaylen Warren seemed to fit the scheme a lot better than Najee. Now who should find as a complement back is the question.

When Tomlin gets capable, wise, and individually strong-minded coaches and figures out that it’s okay to let go some of the reigns…he’ll instantly have playoffs success. But with wanting to be the only alpha to subservient staff. He’ll continue to be one and done (at best), until he’s done.
Tomlin needs to get out of his own way and get a strong and capable staff. He’s as stubborn as the day is long.

Tomlin won’t delegate nor relinquish the DC spot. He won’t admit to hiring figureheads as opposed to talented people.
He won’t do any of that like he will not stop running the same archaic defense.
If a person cannot be humble enough to admit fault, they most certainly cannot change.

I see Tomlin as a guy who has mastered the art of winning games he isn't supposed to and losing games that he is supposed to. Which has been a detriment when the Steelers were true contenders, but a boon when the Steelers were rightfully awful, such as this year. Only the Rooneys can decide when they want to experience being truly awful and starting over.

Tomlin has been saying the same thing for years. Change is coming, time for a change, we're gonna change it up.... It's groundhog day with him and this team. Tomlin was a DB coach for Tampa, and spent 1 year as a DC for the Vikings. Steelers passed up on Ken W. and Russ Grimm to bring in Tomlin. Tomlin wins a SB with Cowher's players. Long story short, if it wasn't for Ben and Cowher's and Lebeau's defense saving this team year in and year out, Tomlin would have been gone long ago. Any other franchise wouldn't let this continue. Things happen, it's time for a change alright. Mediocre Mike should retire or walk, but he's going to live out this current contract so I guess we're stuck with him until it's time to re-up

Not withstanding the 10-7 record, even when they were winning they weren't that good, so I can think of hundreds of things that actually need to change but will they really do anything? The way the pay is structured, where the only offensive player in the top ten is Boswell and most every available cent is going to the defense, I don't know how you build, shop for, recruit talent unless it's from the bottom or you force some of those defensive players along. Heyward can go, Watt should go to free up cap, Minkah...Steelers need to invest in offense more, but in terms of glaring problems, if Tomlin takes his wares to the spectators, columnists, fans every week for the last 10 years and no one calls him on the fact the fundamentals are so poor that it's costing us gains in yards and on defense, and if that doesn't change i don't know what you going to do.
Steelers tackling, blocking, pass coverage and pass cover schemes are so bad, there's no way this turns around even if they find a Burrow or Brady....what you going to do? got to wait out the TOmlin years, there's really nothing else we can do

I hope they truly build around JF with the OL and WR/offense. This dude finally got DJ Moore and had 1300 yards/147.0 passer rating (the highest of all QBs/wr) when targeting him. Wilson isn’t getting that kind of money.
But Fi old isn’t going to be anything more than he is.
Regardless, the style of offense and brand they choose to play, 12 million is way too much for the QB role. But Fields can’t pass.
What is Wilson worth? Well, is Patrick Queen worth the money they gave him? Is Watt worth what he will demand?
Yet, everyone seems to think Najeh can go. Well, maybe don’t run the same plays right up the middle over and over and maybe learn how to block and open up holes. Najeh is reliable and not known for fumbling and is often still in his feet when the play is blown dead.
The scheming isn’t working. And it still comes down to the coaching.
The list of opponents in the schedule next season is brutal. They may wanna start making trades and dumping some payroll. The time to tank it is right around the corner and they could possibly be looking at high picks soon. Save the money for the picks and returns.

One thing fans could do, is get real vocal at all other sporting events leading up to next season , like what was done to Matt Canada. So lets get the "fire Mike Tomlin " chants going, and lets see Joe Biden Rooney responds.

The problem is that Mike T doesn't realize just how much HE has to change. Whatever he has in mind is not enough change. He has to hire visionary and savvy and aggressive offensive and defensive coordinators, then empower them, to do their thing, while he sticks to his strength of player relationships and CEO of the team heart beat. But, that may be like expecting Cowboys' Jerry Jones to empower his head coach...he just cant bring himself to change.

The problem with Fields is he can't throw the deep ball and isn't great at progressions. We need new QB's, O line, and never scheme..

If you notice Tomlin always starts on a losing streak or ends on a losing streak never consistent through an entire season

Tomlin is the Don Schula of the Steelers, (we don't want that! We want playoff wins, AFC championship games, Lombardi trophies! 🏆)

Tomlin should be a politican, not a head coach. World salad. Broken promises. No accountability. Saying to be quite honest with you and lying straight to your face. Yep

This is what really gets me.
If you call yourself a professional coach and you can not coach up a young man with so much talent like Justin Fields your a fraud !!
    It’s that simple.
Do your dam job or leave !!!

Cliche after cliche….mumbo jumbo master. He has no plan other than to disappoint the fans again next season. But I don’t blame him… it starts and stops with Rooney.

If 2 is pattern Mike T what is 5? What is being outscored 73-0 in your last 5 playoff losses in the 1st quarter.

For people who want Tomlin gone, if he goes with Fields he ain't going anywhere. We won't go anywhere with Fields and they'll use the excuse he needs the time to grow and develop. He grows and develops and we go nowhere and neither does Tomlin. I say clear the QB room bring in whomever and hope the scouts find one.
