I followed the exact direction you went in the area where you put the poles down and ended up in a completely different spot so I can't find the cave now lol I hate this area so much

Holy crap! Forgive me this is my first real playthrough as when I was a kid I never made it anywhere after the beginning escaping the reactor in sector seven. I'm playing now and even with you're guide which WAS very helpful I just got turned around so much. Thanks for this video really it did help. Lol

Thank you! I’m grateful for this guide! I’m playing this tedious game and I’m still not impressed with it. I played it as a kid and I thought maybe being older I would appreciate it but I still find it lacklustre and the story boring.
Yah me too dude. Sadly… I mean I have been enjoying the game. Alot in certain parts but I was hoping to like it more then what I do now.. some really good party had like “ohh shit it’s starting to get good”! Only to go into another boring part with no idea where to go.. its like up and down up and down up and down for me… ive herd so many times thats its one of the greatest games ever made… I mean I could probably slide it into my top 50?? I definitely like it and love Cloud… I bought it day one when it came out as a kid and was so hyped from the commercial on tv.. as a kid I didn’t know what rpg was and didn’t like turn base combat… ended taking it too funco land.. or maybe it was game-stop can’t really remember that far back… but yah I guess I’m glad I’m not crazy? Lol I thought I was the only one that wasn’t blown away by it. Deff enjoying it at times but other times its a slog to get threw. And yah I made it probably 15 hours in before I just started using the fast combat and infinite health cheat… 😩

I have played and replayed this game 10+ times on the PS1 over 15 years ago …..and have never gotten this materia. In fact, I only decided to look it up after playing rebirth and getting the prompt for Alexander materia in costa del sol. I thought “huh weird, rebirth decided to add this summon even though it was never in the original?” 🤦🤦🤦
I have knights of the round. And only now i just discovered the alexander summon.

I tried it. It doesn't work. They don't stay in your inventory like the elixir does in the cave.
Found an elixir but when I re entered the screen it was gone. Guess the remaster has it patched out
