Seeing how she sits, not using the backrest, with one of the legs on the chair kind of in half a sukhasana and looking so comfortable and gracious is very impressing. In Europe most people don´t sit comfortably like that even at much younger ages...... She´s amazing in so many ways, but this thing struck me!

I appreciate foreigners like her, who can laugh and enjoy my deliciously funny, chaotic Bharat! As I used to say when I lived and worked in the West: “Life is lonely, life is dull, too much discipline here. In Bharat, being alone does not make for loneliness, one can just sit on the fence and watch the world go by. Boredom is unknown in Bharat. It’s easy to start a conversation with perfect strangers, you are never short of company.” So very happy I decided to come home for good! There came a point, I just couldn’t take the loneliness, the extreme orderliness, the closed society. Life is beautiful being back in Bharat. 🪯🕉️🚩♥️🇮🇳

I am Indian and I lived in Australia and have visited US and EU.. life in India is more easy, laid back.. rules cane be bent and broken.. its actually very free and also fun n happening.. life is Australia was so boring, rules were so tight.. no freedom basically and people are so distant and uptight.. not cool. INDIA IS REALLY COOL.. its the best country that anybody could live. In.. offcourse it's dangerous and bad.. but if you know how to play, then India is the Paradise.

West thinks, they stayed here uninvited 200 years and still we need their certificate. They took everything they could ship. Even our stones, carved so beautifully. Their museums are full of our
artefacts . Our taxes for 200 years were stolen and taken out of our country to build huge mansions there. What will Europe look like if its taxes for 200 years are spent on india?

India's economic history is revealing its painful past under British colonialism. Economic historian, Utsa Patnaik's research suggests the British colonial regime looted almost $45tn from India from 1765 to 1938. This astronomical sum is fifteen times the annual GDP of the UK today

I get your point, however she does say that Goa is an easier place to live in for foreigners. She´s also clearly aware of living a privliged life in India as a foreigner who came with some initial ressources (savings and knowledge), and having organized and done charity work she´s obviously also very aware of poverty. Moreover, listening to the entire video it´s striking that she´s a person who emphasizes on (and increases the importance of) what´s positive and does the opposite of what´s negative. Look at how she talks about her fall, broken bones and health in general. Many people would literally be crushed, physicall and mentally, by such things.

I'm genuinely astonished that Max didn’t have the spine to ask the real question - why the West and European nations continue to peddle such a distorted, sneering image of India. Let’s be clear - I’m not here to excuse the littering issues we face. But India, a nation once defined by its meticulous cleanliness, didn’t just wake up one day and decide to abandon it. So, what the hell happened?
Colonizers happened. They seized land with ruthless greed, driving the native population into squalid, disease-ridden conditions. Their unchecked imperialist hunger didn’t just strip India of its wealth, it engineered famines, shattered livelihoods, and set fire to the very structure of Indian society. The wreckage of British imperialism isn’t just history; it’s a living, breathing reality. We remain chained to archaic colonial frameworks, utterly dysfunctional in the context of modern India. And those deep societal chasms? They were violently carved out over four centuries of relentless exploitation.
I don’t lay the blame for history at this woman’s feet, but she damn well can’t pretend her country doesn’t still propagate the lie that colonization was some benevolent act of salvation. That delusion is a convenience they’ve been fed for generations.
@Max Chernov, stop peddling your selective poverty narrative. The West is drowning in its own filth and destitution. And Dharavi? It’s evolving and getting a facelift. Be done with this poverty porn.
