I love the fact that you have 3 chairs and Poppy gets one of the best ones x
What a lovely video as all ways Bob and Jenny have good time out there see you next time .
We love this site despite the busy road. It’s a nice size country park and Dartmoor is not far away. We had a lovely day in Dawlish too 😃 Trago Mills diesel is the cheapest in the area. 👍🏻😃🚐 Trev n Sue
We have the same Sat Nav and had no idea of the additional information button , well done Jenny for finding it.
Looks like a nice little site. I was just going to have a sip of wine there at the end and, you whipped it away. Thanks both.
😊 Enjoyed that wine..
@@BobEarnshawMoHo 😎
Hi Bob and jenny 👍just us 2 saying hi and thanks again 🤔 been long time since we been down there 👍👍👍🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
Hope you are enjoying your stay at Stover, visiting later on in the summer, if you get time, check the club site out at Modbury about 40 minutes ride away, has all the facilities, well worth a visit, going there as well this summer, safe travels.
Love Modbury Club Site, Will Be Back In Spite of the Approach Road!!. 😁
That was narrow! And hedges overall with now sigth at all! That is exakt wat i rememberd of the roads in Schottland well offcorse it was the highways from Newcastle that time1983! Realy it was great to travel from Gothenburg! Understand the glas of wine when you arrived!
Lovely video as usual, smiled at Poppy in her own chair. Dog walk was good. Enjoy your wine x
We watch all your videos and wondered if our paths would ever cross. We left Stover Park this morning!! Look out for the Morello motorhome it is incredible. Found a lovely walk through the Country Park to Teigngrace then along the disused Stover Canal - lovely even in the pouring rain!! Happy travels
Yes, saw that fabulous Motorhome!
Great video , there are some wonderful places to visit country park is a nice place to wander. Hope you enjoyed your stay there. x
Good to see poppy got her own seat 🐕
Great video and well done Jenny on the useful tip on the info button on the sat nav, I’ll check mine next time, agree it’s also one of my favourite purchases, enjoy 👍🚐
Looks like I have another site to add to the list. Thanks for sharing
Becky falls is very nice . X
I like you have got a chair for poppy nice one 🥂
Hi Bob, Jenny & Poppy , Lovely dog walk with a bench too. I have been watching just sometimes on my ipad and no idea how to make a comment on it. After you said you know who's boss an advert came on with a lady called Jenny saying who's the boss i am lol
Coincidence, but I'm sure Google is listening.
Great insight into the satnav , thankyou
Welcome my neck of the woods, hope you all enjoy your stay. Take care. You will love Exeter, loads of history.
Another certas tanker in the services park up. Love spotting my company's tanker in your videos
Beats Stobby spotting I guess. I'll keep an eye out!
Welcome to Devon, sorry about the weather we have for you.
Hi folks yet another fantastic video very informative and interesting, thank you, have you ever thought of a compilation video of out takes. Stay safe folks 👍🏻❤️
Here you are 🙂

That looks lovely ☺️ thanks
Thanks for sharing
I had to do a double take here, you picked a spot without doing a lap of the site! Have a great time
Thanks, we often go round the site for filming reasons too!
We’ve been looking at the Caravan and Motorhome Club Sat Nav and didn’t realise it had that function, we’re now definitely going to purchase one, thank you for a your help xx
Have to agree with Jenny it does seem a little cramped and not keen on them sighting my caravan, good video as usual
Probably, we've travelled a fair bit of the M5!
The best tea rooms in the area are Primrose tea rooms at Lustleigh (near Bovey Tracey). Absolutely fabulous! Hidden under the moor.
Thanks for the information!
There was a Bust Stop at 12.07minutes into this video just before the Last Roundabout you turned left at. On another note have you ever thought of getting a Dog Anchor or Dog Steak Screw? Available on amazon. screw into the Grass on site and then clip the Dog lead on allowing some slack on the lead then you wont have to sit and hold poppies lead all the time.
We have one, but don't use it because Poppy always gets tangled up with it and wraps it around our chairs and table! Also, she dives after rabbits and Jenny has cut her hand trying to catch her.
Wow ! Those 10 gallon wine glasses at the end of the video must be a real bonus
Can you put a link for them please.
Enjoying your videos even more.
Yes I really must take it easy with those glasses! 🙄☺️
Spent a few caravan hols at stover about 30 odd years ago
Loved the view of the three of you sitting but wondered why Jenny didn’t have a glass of wine 😆
Great video as always. Hope to see you all visit Maryport (west Cumbria coast) again soon! We have a new motor home and camping facility called the harbour side caravan park right on the marina of Maryport looking out over to Scotland and the solway firth. It also has glamping pods. Would be great to see Jenny yourself and poppy try it out.
Thanks, that sounds interesting.
You definitely need to go for a trip to Trago Mills, usually cheap fuel and some bargains to be had. I'm not sure if Poppy will be able to go with you though.
This was recorded a few days ago, we didn't go.
Shame, there's always next time 😀
Dornafield is both a C&MC & C&CC affiliated site on the other side of Newton Abbot, it's beautiful with separate dog walks for Poppy where she'd be allowed off her lead, spotless toilets with underfloor heating which have been open since April 12th as have most on the C&MC sites, and an open artisan coffee bar plus an open shop. The pitches are first class, all are serviced with many having their own Elsan point. We had a week there last August, returned to enjoy the biblical rain last week (site has fantastic drainage) and will visit again with family in late June. It's safe and spotlessly clean giving us confidence in the testing times.... but Stover? WOW, it looks like a glorified French Aire with no personality and feels very municipal, we were both very disappointed with it.
We both really enjoy your vlogs Bob, thank you, keep 'em coming.
Have you tried Aquakem's new Eucalyptus cassette tank additive? It's, er, different... also, being a bit of a techy guy have you done any vlogs on Avtex TV's I can't seem to find any?
Yes think you're right about Stover, a bit bland. Haven't done anything on Avtex TVs, as we bought ours about 7 years ago, before I was filming and never had a problem with them.
10th Sept have arrived at Stover on same pitch as you were on. Update Stover now has a entrance and exit Barrier with key pass. Colin Mew
Thanks, yes it needed a barrier.
They Had A Bad Nasty Gypsy Experience A While Back , Hence The Barriers!..
Hi both you will enjoy Berry Pomeroy Castle. I went there a few years ago. It’s lovely. Great video thankyou both 👍
We did, thank you.
Like the size of your white wine bowl 😂
Down our end! Within 20 miles of us. If you need any help whilst you are at Stover, just message and we will do what we can xx
Stover, that's a site we've passed many many times and wondered what it is like. Thanks for that. Did you try Trago Mills? Certainly is an experience.
Ps
Trago mills is where I miss fuelled last year.
No, we didn't go to Trago Mills. Especially if there's a risk of misfueling. ☺️
@@BobEarnshawMoHo the fault was entirely my own Bob. Too busy wanting v-power and put petrol in my tank instead.🙄😁
How cool is your sat Nat brilliant
Nav I mean lol
Yes, we like Mrs Sat Nag a lot!
Great video as always, thank you! Is it possible to walk to the country park next door?
I made a video about the park. ruclips.net/video/xQjqvHd13Xc/видео.html
Hi Bob and Jenny really enjoyable trip, not sure about manouvering those narrow lanes as we don't have that problem here in NZ. We see you have the Garmin sat nav, what model do you have? Keep up the good work 😀
It's a Avtex Tourer Two, same as the Garmin 780 I think, but with campsites added.
What type of satnav do you have Bob? 🙏 thank you
It is this one

Try not to spend too much at Trago mills!!! Lol
They've got a good selection of wildlife and peacocks etc.
Just thought I'd warn others, I fitted a second hand clipsal three pin mains socket bought off eBay to our motorhome few days ago along with a new combined three pin mains socket with two USB outlets from B&Q. Just tested it on the mains and promptly blew the main motorhome trip and the house trip.
Through a process of elimination I found that the B&Q new one was okay so I think the old second hand one needs bining. Moral of the story is ,even though I couldn't find anything wrong with it, don't trust old second hand sockets. Not worth it in the end.
Thanks, but we don't do shopping centres if we can help it!
@@BobEarnshawMoHo
I agree, though we do like a stroll down old high streets. Trago mills has an award winning garden centre and it's wildlife and animal park is well landscaped.
The Polish homes next door used to home Polish refugees that escaped the repatriation after the war and, presumably their demise. One of the wife's previous jobs in the civil service was to collect the rents and do the accounts for them.
How is the Covid situation in the UK now? Has it eased a lot? We want to visit family in the UK..
We have just had the first easing of the restrictions. Most other restrictions are still in place. Apparently 70% of the population have some form of anti bodies, either vaccination or the had the virus, so things are improving. But, there are hot spots where cases of the virus are increasing. People generally are good, wearing masks in shops, keeping their distance, but it's not over yet by a long shot.
I have the same glasses, 15 dollars each in new zealand, I pic k them up from the dumb , 50 cents each
