Well done Bob and Jenny another great video looks a lovely site well maintained and close to the town of Stonehaven it looks a great place to stay and would love to visit dunottar castle one day all the best to you all Daniel
We absolutely love Queen Elizabeth 11 park, Stonehaven, we have visited three times now & it just seems to get better and better. Besides the very well run site, the beach is literally 30 seconds from the site & into the town within ten minutes. It has a coop supermarket aswell as a good varied range of shops. Number 44 bar & restaurant is very reasonably priced & dog friendly. The harbour is charming & there are some terrific stainless steel models of ships, and a lighthouse etc along the coastal path to the harbour. Wonderful to see it again, thanks Bob & Jenny.
We can’t believe how calm the water and harbour was. The harbour was roped off as the sea was crashing over the wall. We like Stonehaven and can’t wait to see your video of the castle 👍🏻😃🚐 Trev n Sue
Good video Bob. Love the Stonehaven Site nicely presented roads and pitches. On the shore front and within walking distance of the town. Guess Scotland can get it right sometimes.
Looks like a Lovely site.. perfect place to take our 2 year old granddaughter, especially the pool as she’s just started swimming lessons and absolutely loves it ❤ there looks like lots to do in the area. She loves Castles and walking so really enjoys your visits to them. Lovely video as always. Thank you Bob & Jenny ❤
Like the Stonehaven site but tend to save it for Easter or October when the prom is less busy ... makes for easier access towing. In the summer I go over the hill to Silverbank the CAMC site at Banchory. In fact just left there and now on my favourite CL outside Fraserburgh
Dog Friendly in Stonehaven - Number 44 for great pub food, and Cool Gourmet for great Soup and Sandwiches. Other places worth a mention for being nice, Yhe Old Pier, The Ship Inn, The Marine, The Carron, The Bay, Waterfront cafe. For Ice Cream - Aunt Betty’s, Bucket & Spade and ‘Giullionoti E’.
We were on the same site 3 weeks ago - looks like ‘summer’ still hasn’t arrived despite it moving into July. But I did have my first ever deep fried Mars bar from the chippie in the town that claims it invented them. Great fish ‘n chips ….. first and likely last battered Mars bar, mind….
We were fans of Somers wood, but have now found Nottingham camping and caravan site ( newly opened in June). If you liked Somers wood, you will love this site.😊
Eating out seems to be expensive everywhere, we were in an ordinary Harvesters restaurant in Perth last night and it worked out at £30 each and that was one drink and no sweet for me ☺. Hope you had nice drive up to Huntly.
I watched Glyns video just before yours, and your sat nav’s sent you in different directions when you left the caravan site, we have only been on one caravan and Motorhome club site were you had to take your rubbish to main refuge point, every other one we have stayed at still have the normal small bins dotted around the site, but won’t be long before more have the one main refuge point, and how long will it be they start charging for the electric you use, I know they have done a trial somewhere, thanks for your video Bob and Jenny, 👍👍.
They will all have the 'central' bins by the entrance soon. Ashridge Farm has had the charging post installed, so that's coming soon. I disobeyed Mrs Sat Nag when we came out of Forfar. 😀
Hi Bob random question for you about wifi, do you find your net gear good for wifi when up Scotland (we're not sure to get a netgear or starlink for best coverage) ? Any ideas thanks😊
The Netgear router works well with a decent signal and doesn't need an aerial. Starlink is £75/month for the basic service and you do need good weather and line of sight to the satellites. I'm not sure I can justify the cost.
@BobEarnshawMoHo great thanks Bob yes it's alot of money a month! I think I'll get a netgear, we we're just wondering weather we'd get a good enough signal up north. Your reply is much appreciated thank you 😊
@chrissey663 signal in Scotland is often better than down south, depending on your provider of course. We're on EE on the Netgrear and Vodafone on the built in WiFi.
Thank you, we probably have stayed on one or two 'interesting sites' in the 21 years we've been motoringhoming. I have 306 'Arriving At' videos for you to see if you can find some! Try our top 5 coastal sites video, or look for Dunnet Bay or Berwick Sea View perhaps, or even the next video.
Thank you for taking me along to see things I would never otherwise see!

Yes, she'll love it.
Loved the quirky light shades in the cafe and the amazing little steel models. The harbour looked lovely too. Hope you’re both well. Take care Gill
Very well thank you.
A lovely area. I have walked from Stonehaven to Dunnottar castle, but I hope to explore this town sometime in the future 😊
Yes, that's a fair walk!
Fantastic Video. Well Done.
Good video very interesting, thank you for sharing
Looks nice there, Poppy & Tara like it 🙂
Another fab video. I love them, keep them coming♥️♥️
You're very kind. Thanks.
Gosh the little metal sculptures are wonderful! How clever!
Stonehaven is on our bucket list after seeing it on Steve Marsh's fab channel.

We went to.Silverbank many years ago, heard it's much improved.
@BobEarnshawMoHo I wouldn't say it's changed at all ... its always been a great, well run site ... current staff keep it super tidy!

Thanks, that's interesting. We stay at Somers Wood during the NEC shows because it's a 5 minute drive from the NEC.
Hi Ginny and Bob you both look great, 👍 diet has paid off. My husband and I enjoy your videos from San Diego 🏴🇺🇸🇬🇧😉🐕🦺🐕🦺🐕🦺⚽️⚽️⚽️
Thank you very much, I just need to get some clothes that fit now. 😃

Yes, it does tend to eat the pennies up, but beats cooking! The drive to Huntly was pretty good with the A90.
@@BobEarnshawMoHo Glad to hear it, did satnav take you on the bypass?
That will be in the Arriving at Huntly Castle video 😀
Plenty of winkle,s to be pick in the bay when the tide goes out.

🤔😚Ambient sounds might have been better to listen to sometimes please🤔🤔
It's a matter of taste, I'm not keen on ambient.

Oh, you mean no music. Thought you meant Ambient music. Well I liked the music.

Do you mind me asking? Are you both vegetarians?
No don't mind you asking. We are Pescatarians. We don't eat meat, but eat fish and dairy products.
Love your vids, but the sites you stay at are so dull. Why not stay on more interesting sites? Grass maybe, with sea views?

Bit harsh maybe some are quieter when Bob and Jenny go which may be out of peak season
