I'm a few turns into my Empire campaign, when the cat paws away all the trade and non-aggression pacts.. I felt that in the heart.

@@Ahrone1586 Most times the AI start off with base 0 scores in diplomacy rating. Aside from the AI that actually are programmed to start with a negative rating due to the Devs trying to be lore-friendly.
At 10 Diplomacy it's possible to gain a Non-Aggression treaty but on a roll-table depending on the faction. If your negotiating with the same faction types it's more likely to pass. so at 20-30 then 50-60, so on so forth. I'm not completely sure about the exact tables but that's pretty much the jist of it. Empire factions are also more inclined to be more fickle with the new system in place. You also have to balance your Imperial Authority with diplomacy points as well. That's just my experience with the new system. Also you don't want to be in wars when making diplomacy options. AI tend to reject treaties unless you have a high score with them during wars.
I'm still doing an old Warhammer 1 campaign.

@@JoshSweetvale yeah the elector counts system in Warhammer 2 is way better for an Empire playthrough. It's just sad that you can't have a military alliance with your fellow countrymen, it would make dealing with Manfred a walk in the park if you could telle every county to B-line it toward Sylvania.

@Lord Admiral Spire Problem is Skaven have literally undermined the entire planet. The only place they don't have tunnels is Ulthuan, and that is because it genuinely floats on the water so any attempt to dig up from under it would immediately be flooded. So any attempt like this would just see the ratmen emerge from beneath the artillery and wipe them out.

Just coming out of a Sisters of Twilight playthrough where I kept the eagle, I feel that lol. I just didn't have the heart to put the boy down, even tho he was uselessly flying behind my 15 hawk riders who sniped the enemy lord at the start of every battle!

@@TheDramon It's Tom Clarke of the Yogscast. He does a Warhammer stream every week, and for a Christmas charity stream he put on that armor and acted like Toddy (aka, attacked enemies across the map for no reason whatsoever).
Though I suppose Tom wasn't the one who did all the war declaring, that's Ben work.

Toddy is a bit of a dick so... it’s justified.
That man should have the same trait as norses or chaos LL: repulsive, hates everybody except a bunch of chosen ones. Also in my experience, ostermark is also a big asshole
@Regular Slime Toddy is the best , Unlike most of the elector counts he actually cares for the people of middenland.
@@mk_gamíng0609 The bad thing is he only cares about the people of Middenland, not the people of the empire in the other provinces. He just wants the throne for his personal glory (and middenland's) instead of rebuilding the empire to its former glory. That's why Bretonnia, the wood elves and the dwarfs protected Karl Franz, for if he did not become emperor (in which case Toddy would be), everything shall fall to caos.
Boris Todbringer is a good general and keeps the beastmen at bay, but he's a dick and not suitable to be emperor

I've never played Total War: Warhammer, so I haven't the foggiest idea what the shit is going on, but I gave it a like.

I too never played it myself, watched it for few hours of my brother playing, but I do have general idea about the map cause I played WH Fantasy table top, but the music and editing, it's so nice, you can see how long it took him to produce the video and that alone is admirable.

The Greenskin reprisal was likely indirectly caused by Gelt fighting the Dawi. Can't help Karaz a Karak hold back the Green Tide if you're getting Katyusha'd to death.

So, is it normal that Vlads leaves his only settlement in every campaign and just wanders the world like a chicken with no head? I've seen him in playthroughs with no settlement for turns 100+? Like why did he got so messed up lately?
Because his capital is a minor settlement, I doubt the AI values those too highly.

And here I was only running 7 mortars in each armies artillery. 10/10, Brilliant Tutorial. All I had to do was run more firework launchers.
Before, the enemy was reaching my line of swordsmen and killing my hero as I nuked them out of existence, but with this one simple trick, everything changed.
There's a reason mortars can be recruited earlier, take only one turn, have half as much maintenance cost, and can shoot at higher angles.
I keep finding myself coming back to this video over and over again, that's how great it is.
I'm mostly a skaven boy but this makes me want to try the Empire now. Summon the Elector Counts!
Empire is pretty much Skaven with a better frontline, more bullets, artillery, and the almighty mem tanks. 10/10.
@@Aredel I was actually pretty shocked when I went from skaven to empire. Turns out you can play them almost exactly the same except you don't need to carry around a 2 stack to beat any other army, Balthasar Gelt with a doomstack can just run around solo

Y'know, i recall being at a friend's house when I was a kid playing medieval 2 sometime ago, and he played with mods, of course he did.
But the thing is, what he taught me, playing as the english with these mods enabled

i was going to say this kind of felt like a copy of the other guys' videos who made rome 2 videos, but this is actually a masterpiece, this mix of troll and epic is insane, one second im watching a meme, the other, the most intense stand off ive ever seen, where one lord relies on the use of technology and strategy, and the other commander relying on sheer force of brutality and manpower.
