It’s the strange decision by American studios that they have now the right to educate their audiences rather than entertain and whether they want to or not. Think about it. America trying to educate. Take all the time you need.
These remakes aren't outperforming some of the originals when you adjust for inflation. When presented in inflation terms Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs had a box office of $1.97 billion, globally and $1 billion in its releases on home media. It is also the underpinning of Disney's parks business. Once you add in merchandising it is a behemoth. The amount of brand damage the remake could create is mindboggling. Disney should take the $300 million hit and burn every SSD containing the new version.
If someone had told me 20 years ago there was a film industry not wanting my money, and film critics criticizing films they haven't seen and i found that more entertaining than actually see the movie i would consider it pure bs
the down fall of Disney started after end game and culminated with the great marvels(not believe my it sucked big time)i can not say why inside out two did so well but deadpool & wovlerine is down to ryan but it is not that good because he spent as much time fighting Disney as he did filming the film so i can give it a hard pass Disney can not help but to sick there nose into films that is what they have being doing sins end game and i put inside out two & deadpool & wovlerine doing so well is that the people doing them told Disney to piss of and nothing ells we now that is a fact with deadpool & wovlerine and years down the road i think it will come out that the same thing happened with inside out two
Anyone with half a brain knows Black Panther had a great story because Coogler adapted Dune just like Deadpool was an adaptation of the Princess Bride.

@@bilbobluntz1946 I’m not too worried that the “Dune Messiah” audience will be too politically divided. Also, with their recent track record the producers will prioritize good storytelling & character development over preaching about Diversity or Inclusion or whatever cause might be the flavour of the day when they get around to making it!

I read all the available books as a teenager & I agree with film director’s (Villeneuve’s) views on these issues which I quote: “the truth of the matter has always been that Dune is a controversial story when viewed through the eyes of people of color.” Frank Herbert (the original author) described Dune as & again, I quote: “the story being a criticism or condemnation on individuals who deem themselves the saviors of indigenous individuals, race or skin color or political stripe being irrelevant!” My original point being the movies 🎥 that I want to see should be for solely for entertainment & escapism & NOT to try & second guess the often murky political motivations behind the story.
Yeah, Disney has changed... just look at Agatha All Along and the Upcominf Iron Heart.... They had time to edit things like they did in In and Out 2, but they did not for Agatha and said that their reshoots of the other will not change the series direction.
It will take along time to purge the activists from Disney, may even impossible to do if they stay in California. Their "not so secret gay agenda" has to end and everyone involved fired, that agenda has cost Disney billions of dollars. Need to hire writers that a truely diverse from different backgrounds, different ages, certainly different morals and definately alot of very masculine men. Also needs romance back into the stories, handsome male heros and beautiful female heroines, you don't have to sexualise the characters to make them sexy, a hint of sex appeal is enough. Just look at how rabid the Reylos are for a bit of romance and a kiss, image that in most moves where the romance made sence and maybe these crazy women would calm down.
