  • In this video I will show you how to use the Muc-Off No Puncture Hassle Pouch. The pouch comes in a 140ml size and fit directly into a presta valve.
    These are very easy to use, as seen in the video, and are a convenient size to have for weekends away etc just in case. A fantastic idea from Muc-off and well priced.
    The only downfall I can see with these is, at the moment, the pouch is not able to be recycled. Doesn’t sound like such a big deal but a huge oversight by Muc-Off. For this reason I shall be using my old method, of buying a larger container of sealant and using a syringe to measure it out and put into the tyre.

    👌great tuitional vid👍can i use the pouch as a top up, will i need a compressor or can i just use a double barrel footpump🤔

      Hello, thank you 😊 Yes, you can use the pouch for a top up.
      If you deflate the tyre carefully to do a top up, the tyre should stay on the rim and a foot barrel pump will work to inflate the tyre back to your desired pressure.
      However if you remove the tyre, I don’t think a foot barrel pump will be able to provide enough volume or be fast enough to pop a tubeless tyre onto a rim. However a compressor will work and a track pump will work too, but requires a little more effort. I use a track pump, unfortunately I do not own a compressor.
      I hope this helps 😊

    How much muc off sealant do you use for a refill after some months or when its beginning to dry out?

    • @JakeBrookesBiking

      I take off the tyre, clean it out and then start from a complete fresh. I never just top it up to be honest. 😊 I hope this helps

    Hi Jack, i think now the Muc-off pouch can be refilled from the large bottle, isn't it?

      Hello. I’m not too sure on this but I presume this can be done. Personally I would just put the sealant straight into my tyres from the bottle and measure it from the bottle instead of transferring it to the pouch then the tyre.

    Can this be used as a permanent solution? Thanks

    • @JakeBrookesBiking
      @JakeBrookesBiking  2 года назад

      All sealant needs to be replaced every 4-6 months depending on how much you ride as it dries out and will not be able to move around the inside of your tyre as easily after this period. So it’s not really permanent no.
      If you already have an existing puncture or hole in your tyre, I would fix it first with a puncture repair kit on the inside of the carcas of the tyre or replace the tyre completely if the puncture is a larger slit or hole. The sealant will fix needle or thorn type holes but this will make it slightly more difficult to seat the tyre if the tyre already has a puncture. Thorn or needle type holes will usually seal up quickly and won’t be an issue after that (usually)
      I hope this answers your question
