Can you please tell me…
• Is there an expiry date for Muc-Off Inner Tube Sealant that is put inside a tube?
• Is there a time period for how long the sealant will work inside an innertube?
• Does it need to be removed and added again in a year or two?
• If the old sealant needs to be removed after a time period and topped up with new sealant please tell me how this is done?
• I know if I have a puncture and loose sealant I will have to top up again. Therefore, should I add sealant to an inner tube which already has old sealant to top up it up?
• Once I lose sealant due to a big puncture do I have to remove all the previous sealant before I add the new sealant as I will have no way of measuring the lost amount to replace only that amount. If so how do I do this?

I have installed the inner tube sealant almost a year ago, how long does it take before I need to replace the sealant?
Because I didn’t see any information about it.
I was told every 6-7 months add fresh sealant or you will get a leak if there isn't enough sealant to seal a puncture,
My tire developed a slow leak after 7 months and i found out sealant was low...
does it work for latex or TPU innertubes?

Great video!! Skip the instructions in the box. Obviously a pro mechanic. By chance i had my bike indoor trainer. Got a flat on a new tubular Continental tublar Gatorskin on the first ride so pissed!! So i bought this product love all Muc Off products to the best!
This product is super messy put the o rubber ring poured it the stuff is foamy went everywhere i had a paper bag in the floor thank goodness.
The spout went all the way inside bottle at the end when I was finished with 100 mm for the repair it start it oozing out had a rag. Just filled up with air...fingers crossed.
Not a straight shot , i could imagine doing it on a road with cars going by and no rag. 😂😂😂😢😢
How much ml do you recommend for a 20x4 tire, because thats way bigger than a normal 20 inch tire

Nope TPU is waste after 1 puncture

You do it before you go out. Prevention is better than cure.
@@dad7720 true. However unforseen occurrences befall us all on the trail Or else why would some recommend carry an extra master link ,derailleur hanger tape multi etc with you
@@tmayberry7559 because you cant repair a broken chain unless its already broken. This would be the equivalent of bringing a spare whole chain.

I've literally just got a puncture could I use this to repair the puncture? Instead of taking inertube out to repair.
It depends on the puncture, if it’s a snake bite, it won’t repair it.
The safe option would be to take the inner tube out and check so you don’t waste the sealant.
Yep or their wham bam it's great stuff for snake bites and bigger holes lol but when you get home I'd double check the tube anyway
How much do I use for a Fatbike tire 26x4.8/4.9?
100ml same as a 27.5in it says on my bottle I'm putting in just now but have to say the bottle doesn't work as good as he done it 😂 expect a wee clean up!
Does anyone know if this will work with TPU tubes or just butyl?
I’d check with the manufacturer first, not sure where but I read aerothans will degrade using sealant. I went from aerothans to schwalbe extralights just to be able to run sealant and because I had enough of mysterious leakages, leaking valves and so on.
Update from muc-off, it works on tpu and latex tubes

You need to get tubes with removable valve cores.

Why oh why is there not a little bit of paper in the box explaining this with a couple noddy pictures like Ikea might do or something, certainly wasn't in mine!

Who uses QR codes regularly? I don't.
I've used one once for a specific reason.
Jeeeze even a one sided little slip of paper would do.
I actually after posting this passed a guy struggling with a bottle of muc off at a roadside and he was totally messing it up as he didn't know what the little rubber seals were for. Sealant all over his rim as he tried to get it in.
@@FallNorth who doesn't read the text on the bottle if they don't know how to use it XD. Everybody has mobile data these days, his own fault for not using the information provided.

When tube is inside the tyre, it doesnt get any air so I wonder how the sealant will dry during a puncture 🤔
