I look up a lot to Amy Lee because I love to sing, though I'm not confident in myself at all, and I hope to be able to do something with it someday. So, I definitely love them. 😂

If I’m not mistaken they did for the original Miami Vice show finale. I remember watching it and it matched with the episode (even though it means something completely different). Either way, In This Moment honored and rocked this song 🤘🏻

I’ve heard this song covered numerous times, we all have, but this is absolutely the best, by MILES. The build-up, the anticipation that the original did so well hasn’t been matched by a cover, until now, and they actually outdid it! The drummer absolutely nailed that famous moment, and everyone knows Maria Brink is the scream queen but this song is the time I ever said, “Holy s**t, she can sing!” I mean, she. Can. Sing. Those last few notes absolutely blew me away, and then the song ends and you’re left craving more. Perfection.

I just discovered this band today and I am STUNNED! I listened to every song I could acms OMG! Their studio originals ROCK. Their style is without parallel.
If you have the opportunity to see them them live, jump at the change. They put on an amazing show. There's even a part of the concert where they do a cover medley that's pretty bad ass after she introduces the other members of the band.
Keep listening, they are absolutely incredible I have been listening for about 9 years still have yet to be disappointed. Maria Brink is in a class all her own, her voice is so haunting and gritty and beautiful, I cant find enough adjectives to describe it.

Jack Sutter Exactly! Manson made Sweet Dreams what it should've been all along (no offense to the original artists of course). Every time one of these musical Gods & Goddesses cover a song I end up adoring the cover more than I ever could've the original. They just add or evoke a deeply rich & almost haunting character that kinda turns it into an entirely different song.

One of the few memories of when I was about 5 or 6, was waking up in the mornings to this song while my dad was getting ready for work. The OG version of this has always stuck with me since. But playing this version on 2am cruises through desolate countryside takes me back to those mornings more than the original....there's just some strong mojo in this one. Also, now that I know this was published on my bday, guess what new tradition I've decided to honor ;)

Idk,I'm old enough to know,judge,and appreciate this song for what it is and the caliber of effort put into it. Yes,I'm partial to Phil for doing the damn thing to begin with,but Maria adapts/makes(no other way to describe it) magic with her covers. This is a deep song full of a certain emotion and she conveys it in a way that I feel in my soul.
