  • 10/14 leaving the clearwater pass headed west 25miles into a head sea and 15-20mph wind 4-5’ seas video doesn’t show true seas which is ridiculous. Faster speeds equaled a better ride caught air a few times. Definitely not ideal conditions. Speeds we were running 35mph as you can see when we slow down the ride gets worse.

Awesome boat, my buddy is getting the 24 built, goes in the mold Dec 2024. I noticed you installed a floor covering, what kind is it and is it difficult to install? My buddy was thinking about doing a coffin box also, how well does it hold ice? thanks for the videos and info.

Hey Kevin. The floor is safe floor done in Ruskin Florida. And the coffin box is a must holds ice great and there is no better use for the bow in my opinion. Also works as a cushion. Where is your friend located?

He's in Sebastian however I have a place on Cudjoe Key so we will be using the boat in both Sebastian and the keys. He was going to go with the 30 but his slip won't accommodate plus I'm not sure an F150 would be a good choice for trailering down to the keys. Thanks for the info@@HeadedWestFishing

@@kevinobrien223 you can’t go wrong with either model. The 24 is still a beast. I’d recommend adding a windshield wiper it helps with any small mist even with a ceramic coating it still blocks your view.
