- I've been attending influencer press trips since before they were called influencer press trips! To the outside audience, they may seen glamorous and they are definitely fun. But they are also a lot of work!
Come behind the scenes with me on a recent press trip to California for a one night stay to get a glimpse of the Vinfast VF8. It was a fast and exhausting trip and when you get home, the real work begins!

Fascinating video. Looks too hectic and fast-paced. How do you even get your name out there? How do car companies know you?
Great question! I started on my blog writing car content and made a few connections. Then I joined my local automotive press association (WAPA, in my case) but they're all over the United States. That's how you make the real connections with PR folks. As for Vinfast, they found the blog and video I did focusing on EVs from the 2022 New York Auto Show!
Looks like a fun event. Love the food and perks that come with those flight upgrades.

Usually the automotive events are 2 nights. This one was especially hectic but still fun!
