Why can’t we have the 80s back?!? Greatest time to be alive. Movies, music, fashion and just the feeling!! I feel bad for the millennials that only know gloom, doom, victimhood, over hyped politics… back then nobody had a cell phones, laptops, 500 channels, Uber eats, or Taylor Swift and it was GLORIOUS!!!
Couldn’t have said it better myself. People nowadays will never know what we had back then. Take this for example. A song that had so much meaning to it. In today’s atmosphere there is sadly no room for such quality.
I cut my teeth on music in the 80s. But, I spent my teenage years in the 90s. They weren't so bad. And we still had great music. Fashion was a bit more simple. But, hey, we can't have it all.
37 years has to be a Guinness world record for longest gap between release of single and music video. I can't believe this guy sounds so on-point. Long overdue. Incredible.
@@MrMiike83 I hope this is sarcasm. 'Cause they certainly did have blue/greenscreen back in the '80s. And frankly, this video looks almost exactly like a low-budget, low-effort music video from back then.

You have got to like it when great musicians and songwriters who wrote songs that are popular and well remembered from years past show the world that they still got by outdoing themselves many years later. Well done Mr. Mac.
I must admit that when I see this song presented in this format, it enhances its mystical, etherical, and sensuous qualities. Truly timeless even after almost 40 years.
I saw this movie back in 1987 when it first came out. This video brought back a lot of great memories. This was one of my favorite vampire films of all time. I was a teenager during the '80s. Great times. Thanks for posting this.

G Tom Mac has made so written so many epic songs. This one however since I was around for the movie as well I think it’s his best work. Thank you G Tom❤
Best vampire movie ever made. The time, music, and cast made it a remarkable true legend. Unfortunately, without the whole cast (Cory Haim rip), any and all successors will fail in comparison.
The most haunting song ever recorded. It’s in every vampires blood 🩸! Great movie and song and great vampires! This song brings out the vampire in us all ! ❤❤

Better than Francis Ford Coppola's Dracula or Neil Jordan's Interview With The Vampire? Or Tony Scott's The Hungar? I don't know about all that, but Lost Boys is top tier anyhow.

I just had a 30 year flashback. CLASSIC. LOST BOYS OLD SCHOOL. Krayzie Bone did a jam to this which was 🔥. "Hold on to your soul" These kids just don't know how HARD the 90s was. Real Talk
Keeping it classic I love it!! Man as old as he is still sounds like the 80s to me. One of the greatest Vampire movies of my time and one of the best soundtracks!
Wow, a flood of memories. Fist I loved this song and the movie. My baby sister was locked up on suicide watch after going through some really bad trauma at her young age. I wore out the cassette tape of the Lost Boys movie soundtrack. I really missed her during that time.
