Man, how fortunate are we as GenX? Going right back to when we were kids and had older siblings so that we grew up listening to, and were influenced by late 60's music, 70's rock, Easy Listening Disco, Punk, Post-punk, New Wave, New Romantic, Electro Pop, Rap, House and Electro. Then think of all the movies we got to see, it was like every weekend you could go and see something new and they were all good. For many of us, The Lost Boys is such a standout, and one of the best things of all was that Soundtracks were just as important and popular as the movie - Very few S/T's beat The Lost Boys it's just so good and has always been part of my record collection.
WOW.. I honestly can’t stop listening & watching this video.. absolutely incredible artist & film & brings back some superb memories… WHAT A TIME TO BE ALIVE..😇🙏🏻❣️
There are some songs that just define a movie, regardless of how obscure they are. Like "I Believe It's Magic" from the original Ghostbusters. Or "Burn" from The Crow. Or especially "Cry Little Sister" from The Lost Boys.
I agree. But The Lost Boys has such a great soundtrack that several other songs could just as well be it. When i hear *I Still Believe* (Tim Capello) or *When You're Strange* (The Doors) my mind prompts right away to The Lost Boys.
Love this song!! G Tom Mac reminds me of an ancient vampire in this video. Queen of the damned vibes anyone?? The lost boys is a classic, I grew up in the 80's and it was one of the biggest movies and this song is beautiful classic. Thank you G Tom Mac❤
thankyou for this terrific piece of music, the lost boys and this song were meant to be together. This song had a great effect on me in my younger musical years discovering new material, and i can not thank you enough. God bless.
@@gtommac Damn the man behind the voice from a classic song is here in the comments??!!! Wow I am so thrilled to leave a comment to a legend!! Love love your style man right up there with Enigma with the mystery element.
Almost forty years ago, and that song still sweep over my feels without any time or place. Han pasado casi cuarenta años, y esta canción aún recorre mis sentimientos sin tiempo ni lugar.
Im waiting more the 35 years for musical video this my favorite song in movie this moment come rigth now thanks good of gotic Lost Boys forever one Big hock from Santiago Chile Marcelo Blum
Granted, my most favorite movie sound track and granted this is one of my favorite songs from that sound track...but it happened back in the 80's! Are you the actual original singer of this song trying to relive the good old days almost 40 years later? If you are the original singer then I have to give you kudos from back then. Between the voice, the organ, and the "thou shalt not" choir made this song a classic to me that I listen to all the time till this day.
Yes indeed I am the original singer & writer of Cry Little Sister Gerard McMann aka G Tom Mac. There was never a video made of my song, so I decided to make one about a year ago. Thank you👊🏼
@@gtommac Excellent! Great song and, as I said, I listen to it all the time til this day. Beautiful piece of music. Thank you. :-) Can I ask you where the "thou shalt not" things came from?
@@gtommacif this is a new recording of you singing this song; your voice is as amazing as ever, if they ever remake the movie or make a sequel, they need to use this version of this amazing song.
The movie was 80s but the soundtrack was terrific. I saw a stripper 30 yrs ago do a slow dance to this song on stage OMG she moved perfect to the rhythm
The years 80 born Madonna the true new movement know Rap new wabe the movies lost boy no tattoo in this singer woman Debbie Harry Belinda Carlisle no autotune true vocals etc i'm missing this era thanks for good i young in this time one Big hock from Santiago Chile Marcelo Blum
the theatrical value is somewhat impressive but the actors and special fx are not up to modern standards, im not saying that i could do better but im pretty sure you could.
Takes a rare type of person to be able to create such a masterfully perfect audio experience, while simultaneously creating the goofiest cornball visual experience! 🤗😊🫥🤨🤣
One of the best songs of the 80's
40 years later and Still sounds Damn Good!!
Watching this movie again I realized that this music is one of the factors that made this movie so great. Wow.

They don't make songs and movies like this anymore!
clearly
The talents and spirits died a long time ago
They haven't got the mental capacity to do so. A symptom of an industry ran by thick twits.
Every single person realizes this, there is a demand for songs and movies like this but really nothing new compares.
Dont give me a reason
1 of the Best Songs for Vampire movies ever produced. RIP Corey Haims. You left us to soon.
The sound of this on quality headphones is OUTSTANDING !!!
