The seam was the atmosphere. As you were going through the cloud cover, space was loading in the background. Makes sense technically and still looks good.
Yeah like a "soft" loading screen. Very classy, and doesn't break immersion

Well, considering what happened to the LAST true Star Wars open world game, Star Wars Galaxies? I am less than enthused that Ubisoft is publishing it.
Massive? Hmmm... I will wait and see. if it were anyone BUT Massive doing it, I would not even think of giving Ubisoft any more money.
And as for it being Kyle? Nope. No beard and wrong name spoken at him. We can HOPE for a few reference to a certain Dark Trooper buster to show up or at least be referenced, but he is not the focus of this game.
I said I hope this is like Red Dead in Star Wars and to put it lightly I am a very happy man after watching this
of course Nix is cuter than Grogu. Grogu needs to up his game in season 4 to reclaim his belt back. 😂😋 the game looks amazeballs
Nice to see Kijimi in there. Getting to explore it in this game is the next best thing to getting it as a map in Battlefront II (not to open old wounds).

I'm so excited for this game! the gameplay looked super promising
I love the little realistic details, like the ship's spin interrupting the hyperspace mapping process momentarily, Nix's head flaps popping up into the air when the speederbike jumps, the dirt and particles being visible in the blowing wind. This looks so polished and fun, can't wait. Also love that the wanted meter has an Imperial logo in the center, nice touch.
Bro, I love the 2 clone trooper helmets that you have on the shelf behind you, especially since I am a big clone troopers fan! Commander Wolffe, Rex, Cody, Bly, Fives, and Howzer are my favorite clone troopers! I would be Commander Wolffe!
I hope the player controlled space travel & combat is good. Its the one thing I felt was missing from the Jedi: Fallen Order & Survivor games. Liking what I'm seeing from Outlaws so far!
Side note: Nix is definitely cute, and it's nice to get a creature side kick with this game... but no, Grogu is still the defending Star Wars Undisputed Cute Champion! ✌️😋
This game looks so good. That hyperspace jump sequence was 🤩🤩, I was just thinking "punch it" and then it happened, let's go!

Delighted that this is checking so many of your wishlist boxes, Kyle. That's always a really special feeling, when you see the potential of getting something in a game you always wanted to play but haven't been able to before now. This game looks bonkers good, and I can't believe it stayed under wraps this well this long. The rest of this year and next year are going to be monstrously good for games across multiple genres, and I can't wait.

I was trying to place that view on the snowy mountainous planet and I think you are right it’s Kijimi although I had been hoping it was Vandor from Solo (mostly because Solo is underrated and I always love it when parts from it make their way into other Star Wars projects)
I love looking for clever work around or solutions like that in video games.
I think the imperial logo at the top is your wanted level, it goes up to 4 when the first TIE fighter was shot down.
The seamless transitions, blaster fire, different choices, Nix helping you in the environment, the GORGEOUS level design, I can go on all day about how wonderful this game looks. I really hope it's long as hell like Witcher 3. I'm soooo ready for this game!
I was watching thinking "ok so its uncharted start wars" but once the player took off it was so much more. Especially if you can pick and choose planets like the Jedi: games. This really looks very star wars. The bride option... and how it branched off... That's going to be one hell of a trophy list... Bring it on!

This Mon Calamari broker.... she indeed reminds me of Cid from Bad Batch...even though the two are entirely different species...Cid was I guess Trandoshan? The faction rating or respect with particular faction, standing of your charcter with them is an interesting mechanic ,it certainly will focus on exploring the criminal underworld of the galaxy...I hope to have chance to work for the Hutts ;).I hope that mayb there will be cameo of Lando and Chewie on a Falcon, after all this game is supposed to be set in that year in between Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi....speaking of....maybe this GTA style game one day will lead to having game like that with the original heroes of SW :)...even with switching character like in GTA5 hahah, we have perfect trio for that...Han Luke and Leia haha. Jokes aside, I would love to have a game of that quality and style with huge open world and seamlessly combining wiht the simulator like space battles, with Luke Skywalker as protagonist...it would be a bit more like Jedi Fallen Order but in the same time not, if the times were different, maybe using the old Legends plots hehe, set post Return of the Jedi with Luke doing things across the galaxy, and there would be a lot to do, exploring, finding long lost lore of Sith and Jedi seeking force sensitive students, helping solve local problem, fighting imperial remnants, aiding New Republic, it would also generally explore the life of the original trilogy character in better way than the effin sequels! Luke's character deserges better treatment, so why not through a game ;).

Seriously i can see some elements of Assassin's Creed on that botched attempt at stealth at the start, also hope driving ground/atmospheric vehicles is something that can be done freely, as in outside of big quests.
Hub area looks bigger than Koboh's outpost in Jedi Survivor, similar to areas they did on the previous 3 open world AC games. But need to know if we will be able to interact with most people, like in Jedi Survivor or just a handful like in Ubi's previous games. Still there seems to be more than one such place which is already a plus.
Also the space combat seems to be a mix of Battlefront and Squadrons. It looked nice.😄
Not going to comment much about the gun fight since whoever was playing had a stormtrooper's aim. 🤣
Will only say it seems Kay's pet will fullfil the helper role that BD-1 has with Cal.
All in all this was a good preview. Made me more curious and interested in the game. 👍
I really hope we can customize the ship and the bike, like a lot, not this a skin
they need a open world multiplayer game like old republic but new game engine etc

Also, now that you mention it, the mark on ND-5's chest does look like a cut and not a blaster shot.
I'm interested but Im a little disappointed that the MC is already set. This would have been a perfect opportunity for character creation. Something fallen order didn't do. Don't get me wrong I like Kal and hopefully I'll like Kay but I really do enjoy creating my own characters.
In the full reveal video they showed some behind the scenes content. It looks like they are using a lot of motion capture for the cut scenes, my understanding is that this helps with facial animations, the big hurdle in these types of games. I suspect its this or a silent MC.
Between this and starfield, we’re gonna be able to live every space adventure we can think of
I watched the developers comments about what Kay and Nix can do as far as taking on missions and jobs this is exciting i can't wait to play 👏🏼💯💥💖

08:10 This is the kind of stuff I've been dreaming about since Wing Commander - Privateer back in the 90s. I kinda doubt this game will have as many systems you can visit as Privateer had, though, and Starfield will probably scratch that particular itch more, but it's still cool to see this in a Star Wars game.

The game does look interesting however I fully expect that if you bribe her, the Empire will still attack you regardless, just not immediately out the door but maybe as you reach space. We honestly shouldn't expect choices to be all that meaningful. More like minor flavor.

The only star wars game that has seemless ground to space combat was the star wars battlefront elite squadron which i had on PSP. BUT SO DAMNED HYPED FOR THIS GAME

There’s gonna be a big graphics downgrade when the game actually arrives but I don’t care. Looks great.
Maybe not, next gen consoles and PCs can do alot more. It depends on the time and resources they put in, that's it.

The interface at the beginning looks a lot like the AC games. Wonder if they used that engine for it?
Its the other way around, with AC Origin or Odyssey, cant remember, they used the Snow Drop Engine, Massives House intern Graphic Engine. Since then Ubisoft changed every Open World Game to this Engine cause of its capabilties. AC Mirage for example uses the Snow Drop Engine aswell.

Hopefully, as this is Massive Entertainment, this is not too far of the final game, as they did for the Division 2 reveal (after getting into trouble with the Division 1 reveal 😮).

This has everything I like in an open world game. Hopefully there are multiple ways to complete missions, also it looks like there are going to be TONS of easter eggs to find. Let's hope that there is deep customization of weapons and vehicles that can take us deep into the lore of manufacturers and companies of the SW universe. Also Danka does REALLY sound like Sid......wonder if it's the same VA

Awesome reaction man! I 100% had the same reaction when i saw the take-off sequence! There seems to be a small cutscene style-video for the initial lift off but when you leave atmosphere, you can see the aspect ratio (widescreen) change when the player is locked out during a cutscene) they seem to give you back control when you are aligned upward towards space, so you can have "gameplay" light during the background loading of the space sequence. Super hyped for this game! Thanks for the video!
