As much as I love Cal and the Jedi Respawn game, it'll be fun to play as and feature characters who are more morally Grey.

From an aging gamer a word of advice to you all is never preorder a Ubisoft game, just trust me.
Game looks pretty but can't really say this story trailer managed to up my hype for the game. I am still interested but maybe i will not pre-order the game.
One thing i have to say that guy who talks to KAy completely stole Kyle Katarn's design..😳

The regional prices Ubisoft practice are really absurd, specially for the versions with the season pass. They pretty much double the price of the standard edition which was already a higher than Jedi Survivor on Steam. I fucking HATE ubisoft connect.

My man, never apologize for scruffiness when reacting to material concerning a game about the galaxy's scum and villainy.
I do have to say the main character’s dialogue/story sounds very generic to me, so much so that they could’ve easily made it a customizable character imo, but I’m still excited to play and will definitely still enjoy it regardless - even if it ends up being a flop. I’m too much of a SW nerd to not enjoy anything that gets put out, good or bad 🤣
They tend to use sound bites that are generic and don’t give away too much for trailer
It looks fun, but I honestly don't know if it's gonna be worth the 70$ price tag. I'll more than likely wait until it goes on sale
Or just download the repack containing all the dlcs and unlocked content.
Servers for online will be on point considering Ubisoft track record with Assassin’s Creed
What does this mean
@@robram8182 online game play is essential to move any game forward. Ubisoft has a good track record with online gaming. So hopefully from day one there will be no delays and problems accessing new content on the fly. It will be so cool if other players can interact with others if this feature is implemented further down the line.
Im not gonna pre order cause ive learnt my lesson from good looking trailers and god awful games... however i HOPE theyve done a good job with this one
seems like this is either during or after War of the Bounty Hunters but certain this is before the events of Crimson Reign. Looks interesting but Id set low expectations for this game

Great concept, cautiously optimistic, but we are talking about Ubisoft at the end of the day. EA surprised with Fallen Order and Surviver, here's hoping Ubi will do the same!

It looks pretty awesome. I'm hesitant to get it day one because I've disliked most of Ubisofts latest video games and how repetitive they feel, but I'll definitely keep my eye on it and hope the reviews for it are great.

I held off for awhile, it’s also crazy expensive and my ps4Pro is fantastic anyway.

The stories doesn't always have to be about the jedi & sith. There are other people in the galaxy trying to make a living, so i'm happy we got this.
Part of me wished they used Doctor aphra instead of a new face. But still its looking good!!! 😊
This game is soooo close to Aphra type shenanigans (and just the right time period), it's giving me unreasonable expectations

I believe during this time period, Aphra was DarthVader's no.2 Most Wanted and done some crazy feats. So fingers crossed.
Outlaws Looks like a lot of Fun! Hopefully they have some Crafting Element like Star Wars Galaxies. I want to Craft My Own Weapons & Armor. Open World Sounds Massive! I want to Do it All.
It all looks great, and all, but you know what would be even cooler ? Have an open world where you can create your own character (be it human, alien, droid, or even something cybernetic), and start as a basic character, with a basic ship, perhaps ? Then live in this open world, and then develop (and build up) your character with your own look, weapons, other technologies, (like jetpacks, personal shields, armour), ships, speeders, or swoop bikes, and go anywhere you like. Make enough credits in this open world, and find a better ship, or speeder then your current one ? Buy it and sell the old one of (or make a trade, perhaps ?). Or go the route of Han Solo, and upgrade your ship with better weapons, shields, looks, and so on. Maybe you want to have a pet, or companion ? Try and find one that fits your character. Want some droids to keep you company, (or help you out with translating, running, and/or reparing your ship while you're in a fight ? Go ahead, and buy some, if you have the credits). I mean, the possibilities are endless, when you think about it.

@@KyleKatarnChannel Yeah, i remember those, and i always wanted to play them, but because of multiple issues, (including not even having the means to buy the hardware needed back then to play them), i never really came around to do so. And now that i do have some (fairly) decent hardware, they just became too old and dated for my taste. But this game, as good as it looks, could (and should, at least in my book) have been so much more, if you ask me. I find sticking to just one character limits future long-term playability, and i'm fairly certain i am not the only person who has that opinion. But we'll have to wait and see, i guess. I'm definitely gonna check this game out, it still looks like a lot of fun. Reminds me a bit of the old Splinter Cell stealth game series (which i was pretty good at, back then).

Things i hope for in this game:
- First and foremost, Ubisoft not going hogwild with the monetization. Personally, i find Ubisoft's attempts at micro-transactions to be the most aggressive and attrocious in the industry (yes, worse than EA's). And i really don't want that in this game. I'm cool with the season pass, provided it adds enough content, but i don't want to see a new pop-up every time i start the game promoting the next skin pack or ship-paintjob they added.
But seeing the outrageous price policy for the game itself and knowing Ubisoft, that hope is probably futile...
- It would be cool to see some things from the EU that are as of yet not that known to a broader audience. Planets like Batuu with Black Spire Outpost (i know it's not amongst the confirmed Planets, so i doubt we'll be getting that, but eh, one can hope), maybe characters like Doctor Aphra or that bounty hunter, Deva Lompop, from War of the Bounty Hunters (mostly because i really like her look). Or seeing how we're going to Akiva, maybe Norra or Temmin Wexley as a short nod.
- I want Kay Vess to remain an actual Outlaw and not become a Rebel like Iden Versio in BF2's campaign. Occassional brushes with the Rebellion, maybe a cameo or namedrop here and there while smuggling (?), maybe, but i don't want the "something bigger" she's mixed up in to be the Rebellion.
- She has a ship, here's hoping she gets to use it in more than cinematics (though i kinda doubt that, tbh).
- A break away from the - by now - stale and overused Ubisoft-Open-World-formula. I've played all the AC-main series games (except the last one) and i've gotten so tired of it being pretty much always the same. No viewpoints to synchronize, for example, please. It's Star Wars... there have to be cooler ways to uncover a map. Maybe infiltrate Imperial Patrol cruisers or a garrison or something like that.
- Faster gameplay, too. Movement and combat in AC Valhalla, for example, felt so clunky, slow and ladden at times. Kay Vess seems to be a sneaky gunslinger and not wearing heavy armor, she should be quick on her feet.
Open world Star Wars games i would like to see.
A Bounty Hunter game, roughly contemporary to the timeline of The Mandalorian.
A Rise of The Empire era game where you play an Inquisitor. The dark side of the Fallen Order games.
A Rebellion era game that is just a sandbox, Sid Meier's Pirates style.
I loved this trailer. Very excited for the game. I'm not a gamer myself, but I do love watching silent playthroughs of Star Wars games. Very exciting. There's some price controversy involved, but let's be honest: considering the inflation games should cost much more anyway. It's a fair price.

Absolutely keen to get my hands on this. Not just because it's Star Wars and I have an addiction 😂 Asuch as I've loved orecious games, but we have so much "man with lightsaber" in this universe this looks like a really fun break into something different.

I wish they wouldn't go for the photoreal style every time. It really limits how big the game can be when so much time is spent on making sure the textures on someone's ass flap reflects the light just right. Would be much better if this game and the Jedi games were in the style of CW/Bad Batch. Also, as always, disappointed in yet another human protagonist, the eternal curse of Star Wars media. But should be fun either way.
I am SO looking forward to the game.. so tired of Star Wars games just being about "Jedi" and if you didn't know, this game is being done by the same Dev team behind Ghost Recon: Wildlands
This is all well and good but if they make a black series figure of that guy then I’m making a custom black series Kyle Katarn. Though honestly we are do for a gaming greats Kyle based on his Dark Forces II or Jedi Outcast appearance!

Notice how a lot of this world-building seems representative of the concepts for Lucas' unmade, Star Wars: Underworld and SW: 1313? Already, I'm picturing how these characters can play a role in The Mandoverse, esp. the movies. Actually, your beard looks trimmed already, Kyle. Now, I'll be inspecting your beard in the next video. It would be really nice, if We got Skeleton Crew exactly 2 months after this video game's release (October 30th). May The Force Be With You.

Massive has a very good reputation, too, and if the stuff they release in the next couple months looks this promising, I may have to at least buy the base version of the game day 1. Ubisoft, with how gross their company is behind the scenes, is doing really well to get any of my money at all, that has to speak to how good the game looks to me. But certainly I at least won’t be buying any extra things, just the base game

Hate to break it to you about Black Sun, but if we're going by Star Wars lore, Black Sun has been disrupted heavily from the events of "Shadows of the Empire" (if the fact that Han Solo's carbonite-frozen carcass is hanging on the wall in Jabba's audience chamber wasn't already a hint).
That said, this game looks so awesome, and I can't wait to get my hands on it! =D
Shadows of the Empire isn't canon anymore. But Xizor is actually still running it in canon by this time, so it'd be great to see him

I wonder if that Greater Krayt Dragon is the same one that Din Djarin hunts later. The appearance of Han on Ice is great to know when this is. Going to Tatooine makes sense, wouldn't be a criminal game without it but I do hope we get some interesting new worlds.

I know better than to pre order this or buy it day 1, since Jedi Survivor still won't run well on my fairly high-end PC, but I'm still cautiously optimistic for this one.
It looks like it could be a fun story, even if "one last job and I'm free" is a tale as old as time! It's certainly not lacking on spectacle!

I love the fact we are getting story from the underworld but I am worried we are getting far cry 7 in space. I remember when Ubisoft released banger and I love Star Wars I hope it’s good but I am holding out buying it.
They've got to fix the Star Destroyer not having Shield Generators at 3:42 That caught my eye immediately
It's wroth noting that not all star destroyers had shield generator domes - interdictor-class (Rebels) and arquitens-class light destroyers (from Mando), for example. And if you think about it, while these were cool little targets for a film plot, a military with half a brain would realize that these are serious liabilities given how fragile they are, and would try to correct the design.
It's hard to imagine that a game from a serious studio would mess up such an iconic design element, and there is probably a good explanation for this and that it was in fact an intentional choice. But at the same time, it could very well just be an asset oversight. Sometimes, shit happens, and if so, I agree with you and I hope they fix it :)

While the game looks like a neat, fun adventure, I'm actually quite surprised at how... 'meh' the graphics look. Could just be unpolished, as trailer footage can be, but it's still surprising how much it looks like Battlefront II 2017, which was seven years ago.
