I have found this video extremely helpful as i have large dairy sheep who will probably dance around. We tried rolling them over last year and shearing the standard wool and dairy sheep way, but WOOF. They are 85%+ East Friesians (with a little Lacaune, Polypay, and Rideau Arcott). my largest ewe is over 300lbs and i am NOT that strong. Now they're pregnant and I'm trying to minimize stress and not have them just getting flopped around for 20 minutes while i figure it out. Hahaha. Seeing Shawn handle this little dancer is helping me feel a little less anxious about not getting a serious nick on my sweet ewes. Great instruction!

I would love to have the wool off of this sheep. The yarn it would make would work up beautifully.
You should take it to the pet groomer and make it fluffy and cool!
