Have purchased these wings recently; the instructions seem to match this video however the brackets are already with attached "nuts" and the framework is pre-drilled, but none of the sets of pre-drilling match exactly the "nuts" on the brackets...I'm now having to re-drill in a new location or open up some of the holes in order to get them placed properly. Also..why is there carpet down one outside length but not the other---it actually doesn't seem to serve a purpose other than make the bracket sit "not flush". Can forward photos if desired.Have wasted a lot of time trying to line things up without screwing up.
Had the exact same problem neil. However, mine were not off by much so I just filed out the hole to make it fit. Pity the instructions are outdated and not very clear. This video helps a fair bit.
Same problem. With all the cutting and drilling there is no advantage in buying this kit. Just buy the carpet bolts and ply from your local hardware. Complete waste of time and money.
Hi Jack, thanks for your feedback on this, we love hearing things that we can improve on so I will pass this onto the product development team. Please let me know if there is anything else I can assist with.
Hi there, It's hard to say without being able to look over the unit in person, however some catching points that we would generally check would be checking the bearings and whether they're catching on anything that would be stopping proper rotation. Regards, Andrew

They use to be before. But seems they’ve gone cheap now. I just realised this also once I opened up the box. Not too keen. Last draws I had they were basically ready to go . A lot of stuffing around for a cheap draw

Hi there, This is to give more space to DIY, as some vehicles have different internal space shapes, and if you don't have access to a jig saw it's easier to work with two smaller pieces. Regards, Andrew
How did you fix the drawers to the DMax with the tub liner in place and what did you fix the drawers down with and to what the liner or the tub. If there are fixing points in the tub how did you find them with the liner in place.... Thanks
Hi Zac, it would be the 1300mm drawers - however it would be best to check the measurements between your wheel arches to ensure that it is suitable. Please let me know if there is anything else I can assist with. Thanks - Samantha
G'day Jamie, they are available here > www.4wdsupacentre.com.au/products/rear-drawers/universal-ute-wing-kit-wings-for-1300mm-titan-drawers.html and are a bargain price of just $69 + delivery if you would like to get your hands on these give us a call on 1800 88 39 64. Cheers - Samantha
Except that the pre made front pieces are too short and leave a huge gap either side….definitely better off buying the kit, removing the threaded plug cap and throwing out the front pieces, make you own up using the supplied brackets…
Hey Jesse, Do you mean they leave a gap left to right between the front vertical piece and your tub? That's on purpose because some tailgate widths or tub liners are narrower or wider and having that flexible option makes them more universal - we generally fix an extra piece to the back if we do want to cover the whole width - cheers!
Thank we did it , I love you tube for help like this . Awesome

Yeah have the same problem. Re aligning all the holes so they fit
Had the exact same problem neil. However, mine were not off by much so I just filed out the hole to make it fit. Pity the instructions are outdated and not very clear. This video helps a fair bit.
same here, i had enough and just tek screwed the wing brackets on

The set I got had predrill holes and locking nuts nothing lined up
Dammit you forgot to show the 4 black stopper rubber
If I only those draws were 100% dustproof and not having a good inch gap between the drawer and the top!
Hi Jack, thanks for your feedback on this, we love hearing things that we can improve on so I will pass this onto the product development team. Please let me know if there is anything else I can assist with.
Difficult to make them dust proof, but for nearly all dual cab utes you can purchase dust seal kits for the tail gates… problem solved.
Hey guys. Im intrested in a set of drawers for my triton but dont have a canopy. My question is how to these go against rust and water cheers?
Hi Kyle,
They are only weather proof not waterproof, so we recommend using the drawers under canopies sorry. - Samantha
We used tape then hit with the hammer it left a more noticeable imprint
The wheels that make the drawer slide in barely move making pushing the drawer in very clunky. How can I solve this?

Do they just sell them ready? I got no time to do them;(
Hi there,
Unfortunately not sorry! Cheers, Courtney

Tbh looks like it is wasting space, if it had hinges atleast then you could use it. Also if you guys made single draws aswell that would be great

Why is the top of the wing in two pieces?? It would be so much neater if it was One piece.

Hi Johnnie, customers will either need to drill through the tub liner or remove the liner - Samantha
What draw systems are they that are fitted to the dmax?

These work with the 900mm drawers?
Hi Jason,
Unfortunately they aren't suitable for the 900mm drawers. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Thanks - Samantha
