    I have two sets of these in commercial vehicles, one set would go in and out over 40 times a day 5 days a week and still going strong after nearly three years. Like the review said, a bit rough around the edges but tough as nails. For my purpose I bought a second set and would buy them again.

    I have the XTM drawer which I got as present over 12 months ago. The key snapped in the barrel recently and NO locksmith can get the barrel. Both BCF and Supercheap are both lacking in any support to even ask the distributor for any spares. So if your considering getting this product then consider an alternative brand as XTM has NO support for product failures.

    Thanks for the review. Can see the appeal with these but reckon we'll stick with the second-hand Drifta drawers we have, find them much lighter and more room.

    • @explorebound
      @explorebound 3 года назад

      Nice work scoring a second hand set - that's the way to go! Given the choice I'd say hands down Drifta would be better purely from a functionality perspective, however factoring in the brand-new cost can make the decision a bit tougher when buying off the shelf. Cheers!

    Gday mate great review got a question I've just bought a set of the draws I've got a 90ltr fridge will it mount on top of the slide and hold it's weight empty and full by chance cheers

    • @explorebound
      @explorebound 3 года назад +1

      Hey mate, hard to answer definitevely as 4wd Supacentre doesn't provide weight ratings for the fridge slide, but in the video we tested it with 50-60kg without issue. If you've got the Kings 90L fridge, they weigh 33kg empty, so long as your food is under 20-25kg then should be fine (it could perhaps take more weight, that's just what we tested it to). As for dimensions, there's quite a few drawer models to choose from so I'd recomend checking the dimensions of the model you're after. Cheers.

    Thanks for the review. I installed a brand new set of Titan Draws for a friend. It turned into a nightmare job that took all day. I had to pull them apart and repair them before they could be installed. Inside I found sharp poorly cut steel hanging and flapping around, because it was never built correctly. I found rivets that were never seated and rivets missing. It was as rough as you could imagine. The poorest Chinese made rubbish that I have yet found in the 4WD industry. Apart from that, they were way too heavy and too shallow to be useful. Regarding my own vehicle, I paid more and bought Australian made Drifta Draws. Without going into all the details, they are so much better in every way and worth every cent. The most useful modification I have made to my Hilux.

      Thanks mate, I've heard good things about Drifta!! They are quite a lot more expensive, but certainly sound like a good investment for those who can afford them - and great to support locally made gear.

      @@myintkyaw6843 Holden Colorado's were built overseas in Thailand and were a rebadged Isuzu. Holden did not make 4WD's but they should have. They should have given the people what they really wanted. That is why Hilux and Ranger are the greatest selling cars in Australia. That's what people want but Holden failed to build them.

    The underside of the top shelf has its framing exposed such that the drawer items can get caught with the cross member. I have to get a long ruler to free the drawer or try the fridge slide if it's on that side. The underside should be smooth so that drawer items can't jam the drawer. Can't recommend this drawer.
