RIP Alan. Hockey and shovelling snow wipe out hundreds of Canadians every year. The anaerobic stop/start nature of it is hard on the heart. Hockey is actually a very ineffective way to get in good overall shape. Playing hockey gets you in shape for hockey and that's about it. Still the best game to play there is. There's nothing else that fun. It takes a while to get good enough to really enjoy it though.
Alan does a lot of charity stuff and that makes him a great person in my books. His talent and contributions to the entertainment industry are quite profound too. I think he'd be an awesome bad guy in a horror film though.

He was a fantastic human being! So he had some face lifts....good for him! Why is that wrong? Rest In Peace Alen Thicke! gone too soon!
