That salad would be amazing! I agree that little salad shrimp and/or chopped red onion would be fantastic. Im diabetic and many times do a meat and cheese tray with a veggie assortment which varies. Mini cucumbers, radishes, sliced bell peppers, cherry tomatoes etc. Etc. God bless all here.
62F here in Glasgow, Scotland and heavy rain. That was the highest it could get, it could drop to 57F. Great recipes again Amber. I don't tend to do charcuterie boards, I just do a Smorgasbord, a mix of all different types of mixed salads, fish and cold meats. There's too much to type onto here. Thank you for sharing, I have a jar of artichoke hearts I haven't used yet, never tasted them, might now that I know where to put them. xx
Absolutely! There are really so many different ways to do this kind of thing. It doesn't even have to always look pretty, but there are just so many options.
Sunday blessings to you and your family. These recipes came at the perfect time. We're supposed to be over 100° this week. PS, I was Mandy's subbie supper Friday. Ahhh! I still can't believe it.
Meghan you read my mind we are having my spaghetti salad antipastoon a bed of lettuce for a dinner this week too, NC will be to hot to turn on the oven. Have a good week.
Oh my goodness! I had to stop the video and make this wonderful Greek Chickpea Salad! It is so easy and so VERY tasty! I did add Vidalia onions and everything else the same. Delicious! Now I’ll finish the rest of the video and see if I can watch without jumping up and preparing the next one. 😊Thank you!!!
The chickpea salad would be great as a mason jar salad. Put some of the dressing on the bottom of the jar. Add the cheese, olives, tomatoes and beans. Then the cucumbers and, finally, the peppers. I'd bet it would last a few days in the fridge.
These are all the best things from my family’s summer get togethers! For myself, I love the Greek salad with Chickpeas! A favorite summer treat that I remember is slicing the prosciutto very thin and then wrapping it around slices of cantaloupe or honeydew. Thank you so much for sharing these delicious summer suggestions! 🌻💕
Yum! I just might try the antipasto for our church block party Sunday night. It's going to be hot most of this week in Minnesota. Tuesday is going to be 101! I'm ready for the snow! Well, maybe not quite ready!
Hi I love your videos thank you! I’m in SWFL and it’s been ridiculously hot for what seems like forever now and I was just telling my husband yesterday that I just can’t turn on the stove or oven anymore! Ugh 😩 praying for relief soon but sadly it stays hot here for at least 2-3 more months!
While I love everything you made , my husband doesn’t like cold meals. I’ve used my crockpot about 3x in the last 7-10 days. In Houston, we are suffering oppressive heat. Yesterday it was 107-109 with heat indices of up to 120. It hasn’t rained since the first week of July. We stay indoors in the A/C and eat ice cream in the afternoon.
I love your channel. Thanks for this video. It's 107 here today with heat index of 115. Hot meals just won't work. I'm excited to try the chickpea salad. It sounds so cooling.
I love watching your videos. Thank you for sharing wonderful recipes. All of these sound delicious! I'm in central Florida where it has been super hot and humid (it feels like I'm walking into a dryer full of wet, hot laundry when I walk outside) so lunches and dinners without using the stove or oven are perfect. (There were a few places in the video that were hard to hear due to loud background noise - maybe a TV was turned up loud.)
Oh yes 107° today but the whole month of August is triple digits average about 105° with excessive heat warning every day in East Texas 🔥 I love the idea of antipasto salad as an Italian and I love the dressing recipe thanks!!!!
It was 114° in the shade today 🔥🥵 I need to stand in front of the A/C to stay cool and the cooling towel I got from Walmart plus taking the hose and misting myself to cool off in front of the fan are my tips to get through the heat!
My husband is super picky so he won't eat salads or anything like that. Occasionally he will eat a sandwich but he complains about it. Never skip the cheese. Lol. Some fresh basil would be great with your buratta and tomatoes, almost like a caprese salad.

That's honestly such a great dinner in my opinion! I love dinners like that.

Love all of these! I sometimes change the salads up adding pasta to them. Love, love charcuterie boards!!!
So good!
I love how real you are. I thought I was the only one who walked in circles in the kitchen.
Haha! Nope. It happens a lot here.

wow! That's a hot week! Here too.
@@FeedingtheByrds I'm ready for Fall weather.
I saw your recipe, Alma! Yum!
@@happycamper4045 thanks. It's one of our favorites. Hope you try it. You could use chicken if you don't like pork.

It really is hot here. We are heading to the mountains to hopefully get a break!

Thanks Amber! These look so delicious and came at the perfect time. The temp this coming week is supposed to be in the high 90’s and 100!
Here too. Crazy!!
Diced pepper jack would be delicious in that salad. ❤️
OH absolutely!

Hello! I enjoyed this video! Last week I made the hot honey chicken sandwiches and they were great!!!
I'm so glad you enjoyed!
Good evening Amber and thank you for sharing your yummy meals
You are so welcome!
I made almost this same salad for our church picnic today.
It's so good!

That's so odd because when I watched it through, to make sure it was good, I didn't hear anything. I hate how sometimes RUclips does that!
@@FeedingtheByrdsIt's all good!
I'm in PA. I love summer but while are temps can get into the 80s but goes down on the 50s in the evenings
Oh wow! That's definitely different from here
@@FeedingtheByrds I've seen a joke going around of someone mowing grass in the snow with the caption only in Pennsylvania!
In Texas and it’s 108 this week.. crazy!
Yikes!

I absolutely dearest Chuck peas...any other suggestions other than chicken or shrimp
*detest*
Try a white bean.
New subscriber from Alabama ❤... It's very hot here 😢
So glad you're here!!

Fresh Basil would be delicious on that!
Yummy 😋
Yes!
cool
I’m in Cherryville NC, what grocery store has a green pepper individually wrapped…. I’m all about that….
I believe that one was actually Food Lion. It may have been Harris teeter though.
Amber wet a towel and put it on your dog right before you let it out, it helps, awesome recipes, thanks 👍🙏🏻👍🙏🏻👍
I've never thought of that!
What is the difference between the feta already crumbled and the kind in the brine?
Nothing, I just wanted to have a chunk for the charcuterie board!
❤
The bowls you put the gift cheese in where are they from and do they have lids
I think you are referring to the clear round bowls. They are actually from the dollar tree!
