Jicama has almost 50% less carbs than a regular russet potato and offers a “bite” like a radish. It can be boiled and mashed like regular potatoes. You sure do like your dill! 😊

Tomatoes LOVE salt and I agree about the dill, although I never use dried, there's no essential oil in dill weed, nor parsley btw, so it doesn't keep the full flavor...herbs like oregano and rosemary, for example, do have oils and have a rich flavor when dried❤

I love dill and add it to my egg salad and pasta salad.. but also add a little pesto and a half teaspoon of sugar to any vinagrete when making pasta salad. Its a sweet herb italian taste. I too always use fresh grated parmesan to mine. I do like jicama with Tahine and lime juice... fortunately my store sells it already peeled and sliced into spears.

Thanks for sharing! I just made pasta salad a few days ago. I hope you wash those tomatoes. I wouldn’t use that salad dressing. It has high fructose corn syrup in it as well as soybean oil, which is a highly process and very unhealthy.
Jicama is pronounced like hick-a-ma. It is delicious. FYI make your dressing in the largest bowl and throw the other ingredients in, instead of messing up 3 bowls. Yall are funny.

Normally I use the oven method! Lay the pieces on a sheet pan and then I lightly cover with foil just so it wont pop all over the oven.
