The gov will have a cap with how much you can earn before it effects your benefits. Any job that pays you in cash you could also not report. You can get a shower at any police / fire station or hospital. It really seems like after getting the cats and the car that things have been much, much worse financially.

Hope this turns around soon. It’s nuts how living in your car can feel less like poverty. It may be worthwhile to foster the kitties? At least here, they would cover any of the needed medical treatments for them.

To whom ever said "boo hoo" to you, do you have ANY idea what it's like to live with chronic pain? I have a single disk in my back that has 4 separate problems with it. It is EXTREMELY painful unless I have some sort of pain relief (currently medical marijuana). When I can't afford that medicine it is unbearable. It makes every aspect of life harder with or without medication. So maybe next time think before you comment something stupid.
To Bo, please try and stay strong. Your videos are my therapy too. You never know when the struggle will end but things are always changing. I hope some day soon both of us will know what it's like to live without worry of money issues or pain. For now just know that I love and support you with my whole heart.

"Something happy" 😋 okay so my cousins cats had fleas and she said giving them a bath with dish soap and salt kills them! Worth a try I feel and I'm sorry you're caught in a cycle that brings you down I dont know about the UK very much at all so I'm sorry if anything I say is ignorant but do they not have like food pantries or anything like that to help you get food? Believe it or not your intestines play an extremely crucial part in our health so I feel like any money after rent should more importantly go towards some healthy food (whole foods like fruits and vegetables, teas like ginger are great for cleaning and soothing your stomach and peppermint is good for muscle aches, cutting out excess salts and processed foods is a really good idea especially since those kinds of foods and like carbs and dairy products build up mucous) trust me it would really make the difference and buying alot of fruits and vegetables and like nuts and seeds dont need to be refrigerated so that would help with that and maybe candles for when the power goes out?

Just keep keepin on. I know it sucks. But what if next year things are better or in 2 years you’ve found some solutions... you won’t know unless you stay with us. I was in a similar place and although things aren’t amazing, I’m glad I stuck it out for those years. It took a lot of time and a couple random events, but that helped change some of the bad into half-decent. I hope that happens for you much sooner than later. You’re brilliant and beautiful so there is definitely hope my dear.

Your enchanting we can definitely relate. You have been chugging along for twenty-three years and dealing with this travesty and pain for a big portion of your life. The venting of your frustrations are heard here. You have an immaculate heart and a personality of silver. You should try in home gardening it's very therapeutic it's a hobby of mines

bo, it might be more beneficial to live in your car. see if someone can foster your cats for a little bit, save some money, do some research and save save save. you can do part time uber eats or something like that that wouldn’t meet the minimum for your government money. it’ll be hard but it might be worth it

I can’t even imagine Bo, I’m so sorry! Being on benefits is awful, I hate it because it traps you so completely :( sending all my love. I don’t want to presume or anything, but have you looked into PIP or ESA to make sure you have everything you are entitled too? Also if you are they should give housing benefit to help pay rent too! There’s a few charity services available (depending on your area) that could help you make sure you are getting everything you should be entitled too or there’s citizens advice too (they helped me a lot)

Don't you ever feel bad for complaining about the same things, just one of the many things you deal with would be enough for many people to break down completely. I have a chronic disability, and I'm lucky enough that it isn't usually painful, but the fact that I can't do so many things is enough to make me depressed. I can't imagine having constant pain along with all your life struggles. I'm sure you feel as if you are weak and struggling, but you are so strong for living. It's a hard thing to continue living when you're debating between life and death. I don't know if it means much, but you chugging along helps me to keep chugging along. A lot of people genuinely care for you. I don't blame you for feeling the way you do, I think anyone in your situation would. It's hard to watch you struggle, but it's worth it to be able to watch you at all. If you make some art I'm sure your fans would be happy to buy some, it's not going to be enough to make a huge difference, but maybe it would add a little bit extra to help get by.
Happy thing if you want to skip the long paragraph:
Everyday that is isn't raining I take my cat outside in my backyard on a little leash and she loves lightly tapping ants to watch them run around.

Could you sell some of the stuff, like some of the clothes that your mom just gave you that you don't wear? I mean I know you could only make like 15% of what the government gives, but like maybe you can put a couple items on FB marketplace a month to sell? Love you bright hair.

Here's some happy news, my cat is pregnant and due soon so soon I will be able to play with tiny kitties. We can't keep them though... We already have 5 cats and one more that likes to visit most nights (he's a stray). I am still super excited to see their cute little toe beans though ☺️

Luckily where I live in Canada people on disability benefits are allowed to earn a certain amount of income without having them taken away. Poverty is a cage that's much easier to get into than out... Hang in there.

It's the same here in the UK too. We have PIP - personal insurance payments - and you can work 16hrs before you'll be possibly reassessed. Also, if you can't work due to health, you can claim both the PIP and something called Universal Credit which is out of work benefits and this doesn't affect your PIP payments. UC is reduced when you work over 16hrs or earn over £406 a month, and then it's 60p in every £1 over that amount.
Bo - I hope you're claiming everything you're entitled to Xx I understand hugely. Single mum of 2 with chronic pain condition and heart disease. I don't get PIP, just UC, and am torn too between working and not working. Financially I can cover my bills but I don't food shop for myself, just my kids. So I really do get the struggle.

Not sure if you deleted my previous comment but I wanted to add that in school they actually teach social workers to keep clients dependent on the system. I obviously do not follow this in my own practice but it is something professors absolutely did tell us to do. Once I found that out I stopped using social programs myself and hired private therapists and stuff. I couldn’t believe that they actually didn’t actually want to help people but rather create a dependency. This was and is sickening to me.

Wow, didn't know it was that blatant. But that's what you get if you don't protect important things like healthcare from capitalism. It's quite similar here in Germany, healthcare is an industry. If you get completely dependent, you get ground up in it. Really makes me want to move to another planet. 😞

Hey Bo! Always watch through to the end. I am dealing with a similar situation. One thing that helps me is my faith in God. But I am not here to preach. Like you my kitties help me through.
I have watched you a long time. Didn't you used to make dolls or something? I know you are a creative person. Maybe use your talents to make things to sell. That extra money could help you buy food or keep your electric.
    Be well.
