Ronald M. Any marriage between two consenting adults that is not directly causing harm to anyone is not perverse. Period. Also, any person who has ever read the gospel could not possibly in their right mind view Trump as being someone remotely like Jesus. He is the antithesis in every conceivable way. PosterBoyStealz _ a democratic president led us out the recession of 09 and grump inhertied a Obama economy which was increasing every year and now trump has led us into a recession.... you say the Dems want to destroy this country uh why? How republicans and dems want to help this country they want it to succeed but they have different opinions on how it should be done. ThTs the only difference not this nonsense of no money into the economy or whatever smh
@@xewokk6449 Be honest though, saying Trump led the US into a recession while it’s obviously caused by something completely out of his control, that’s just dishonest. Before Covid hit the data on the US economy showed it was doing very well, both holding on to what has been done before and even increasing growth in some area’s. Considering the democrats have done EVERYTHING in their power to stop whatever Trump is doing, I’d say he’s doing a pretty good job. Most importantly, he doesn’t seem to care as much about outside interests as most politicians do. He doesn’t flip flop on his opinions, opinions I often disagree with, but he is obviously way more truthful than most politicians, including Biden. That is something that you could argue is very much needed in a time where freedom of speech is under attack and cancel culture is running pretty rampant. I support a more social health care system and a lot of left policies, but the critical race theory, the backhanded opressing of people of color by acting as their savior, the amount of effort they put into disrupting whatever Trump does, the way they look away from some very real issues because they don’t fit their agenda is what makes me oppose the democats. Just one example of that; 50% of black children today are born without father, and fatherlessness increases poverty rate from 9% to over 40%. If the democrats REALLY want to improve lives of black people, why don’t they acknowledge this? Why do they insist the only reason for a relative high number of blacks being in jail is because of systemic racism? Why don’t they acknowledge that they started planned parenthood, founded by a self proclaimed white supremacist, is for 80% present in black neighborhoods? Is it possible they want to keep black people down because this will make them keep voting for their ‘saviors’ in unprecedented percentages? What do you think about this?

We need to take a moment to thank Ernie Johnson for speaking up about what he thinks We all must respect Ernie for all he does and how he puts his job on the line just to let the world know how he feels
Ernie, you just made my day...God bless and keep you and make you a blessing for His glory and for the good of this country. Thank you for your bold witness...carry on, brother.
I don’t blame trump (at least no completely) for the division we have today. We need to legitimately look at big tech and how media companies are paid to spin divisive and gotcha narratives one the opposite party
Excellent point and to you my friend consumer of media I ask you this... where was the division in this? I think Ernie gave a valid point, me being a 50/50 (Liberal/Conservative) I gave Trump a chance and honestly within the first 2 years I had lost my “Let’s give him a chance” card
He definitely deserves a lot of blame considering he emphasized and embolden a lot of issues. However as we all know there was division before Trump and there will be division after Trump. Beyond the “big tech/ media” blame, the huge , everlasting issue we must confront is the classism divide. Rich ppl want to stay rich and have no problems trampling poor/ middle class members to get what they want and to keep things flowing per usual . At the end of the day the ball is always in the court of the few and the wealthy at the top.
EJ speaking truth and telling it how it is without any negative tone or hidden agenda.. just genuine and from the heart.. Seeing this video and posting this today with everything that’s going on doesn’t go without a heavy heart and low morale..
I not only needed to hear this, but a lot of the young generation that tune in and watch the pregame show on "TNT" needed to hear this is as well, we are a nation divided but it's time to move on and support and pray that Trump will do well for all of us....
I've watched Ernie for many years, and he was always kind of a mystery to me. I won't feel so guilty about all the time I spend watching the NBA now. He's a good man and we are lucky he's on TV. I'm all in for praying for President Trump and all of us. I didn't vote for him, but Ernie's got it right.
No, He isn't... If He were, there would be no sin in the world. We wouldn't have abortion, perverse marriage, the democrat party, treason, terrorism, rape, sexual immorality, evolution in schools, Common Core, NFL athletes disrespecting our flag, the lying liberal media, the trash and lies of Hollywood, theft, drugs, trespassing, et cetera... @@keanureeves7317 It hasn't been this much divide since the 50's and 60's. Obama was a charismatic leader, but still was a politician. Hate or love him he never would dismiss people just because they didn't like him. Some division was because he was a bi-racial democrat as POTUS. Some people were afraid of that. Mainly Republican's scared that things were drastically different in the look of an American leader. Both Bush's and Clinton had some interesting terms to the the least..... But still politicians. Orange Dust himself will tell you he isnt a politician. He's an pompous ingrate who doesn't give a damn about me or you. Never imagined such a self promoting narcissistic prick would be POTUS. But scream about the "radical left", "fake media", "the Chinese Flu" and ANTIFA and Republicans bust a nut. My pastor showed this video at our church today, and I am so glad he did. I don't know a whole lot about this guy, but I think I like him. :) I grew up in a staunchly Republican, conservative extremist household, where my sister and I were taught by our dad that all Democrats and liberals are "possessed destroyers." (I swear I am not making that up, he actually says that.) People like the Clintons were our boogeymen, and anyone who identified as liberal were just as demonized. Ronald Reagan has been hailed as pretty much the second coming of Jesus, instead of the fellow human being that he was. And for a long time, we actually believed it, because we didn't know anything else. But as I matured, I realized that I essentially had no idea what to think about politics. I came to realize, and not be ashamed to admit, that I didn't know what my stance on politics was, and because of how brainwashed I was by my dad, I was trying to understand something that I didn't know what it was, and I had no good teacher to show me how to think for myself, because any independent thinking is quickly condemned by him. So this is why today, I identify as being mostly apolitical. Since I don't have a true grasp on politics yet, I will not try to pretend to understand something when I clearly don't, and until I understand it better for myself, I will abstain from it. That was my attitude over the past few years, and to a large degree, it still is. But this year, I was urged to vote because I realized it's okay to vote for others who are not Republican or Democrat. So I voted for Gary Johnson, the libertarian. No, I don't know this guy from Adam, but the libertarian party sounded like it lined up with a lot of my personal beliefs, so that's what I went with. I, like Ernie, knew "my guy" wasn't going to win, but I voted for him anyway, and my conscience is clear. When I heard of Trump and Hillary as being the main presidential candidates, I cringed. I don't know them, either, at least not for myself, but I do know what I've heard about them, and I have seen small snippits of them from the news or TV shows and have read a little about them, and I did not like what I saw or heard. Like Ernie said, Hillary sounded sketchy to me, that and she's always come off to me as really power hungry. Trump was not too different, that and I saw him as an arrogant egomaniac. I, like so many others, joined in with the choruses of bashing on the candidates, and having no respect for them. But my pastor gave some very interesting viewpoints on how we are to respect authority, and why. No, we do not have to agree with them 100%, and no, we should not let them walk all over us like doormats, but they are fellow human beings, and we must show some respect for them in that regard. Because of how toxic people like Trump are, we need to pray for them, not demonize them, like the candidates demonize each other. And because of how much they demonize each other, it divides the country and pits friends against each other. I've seen a few of my friends on opposite sides of the political spectrum going at it, and it saddens me to hear that this year's election has destroyed some friendships. I can't say my two friends are not friends anymore or what, but they got into a pretty bad fight not too long ago. And I know I'm one to talk on demonizing people, I sometimes still do that, too. But my pastor was talking about how God uses rulers, good or bad, to steer us into the good plans He has for us. And we shouldn't be afraid every 4 years around election time, because we should remember that we shouldn't put our trust or faith in fellow humans, but in God instead, because He is still in control and taking care of us. And no matter what happens as a result of this election or others in the future, we will survive. We've survived other presidencies before, so we can survive this one, too. And who knows? Maybe Trump will clean up his act and actually be a decent president and a better person...I mean, best case scenario, I know my respect for Trump is still somewhat narrow, to put it delicately, but here's to hoping for the best, right? That and many other presidents before have not been these monsters who were out to get us, we shouldn't have to be so afraid of them, because the way I see it, for the most part, we've still been able to go on with our everyday lives, no matter who is in the Oval Office. I mean, yeah, some of their decisions have directly impacted us, like the prices for insurance going up during Obama's presidency, but really, did Obama turn out to be the Antichrist, like so many others have tried to say about him as a part of fear inducing propaganda? I think not. My pastor also included a part in C.S. Lewis' novel "The Screwtape Letters," in which a demon is talking to a new recruit demon, his nephew, about how to steer humanity farther from God. The demon essentially tells his nephew that people can be so divided, like us Americans are between Republicans and Democrats, that many of us tend to forget that God is in control, and once the lines are clearly drawn between the two political camps and unity is lost, it is the demons' jobs to keep that division going. As someone quoted in church today, after all, "A house divided against itself cannot stand," and it also ties in with what Ernie said here about Jesus giving us the commandment to "love others." So, I am still not a fan of Trump, I'm really not, I will be honest about that right now, and I know I've really put him down. From what I've seen of him so far, he appears to be a very aggressive, insensitive person, and he has not left a good first impression on me, and thus, it will be a hard pill for me to swallow to authentically care about this person. But like Ernie, I know we will all have to give him a chance. I really hope he does turn things around, and I will pray for him, too. I fully expect him to say and do many things that I will not agree with, but I really hope he does learn how to conduct himself in a truly civilized manner. And in this new light on the new presidency and how I think God is calling us to look at our fellow human about to be in office, I do feel bad about putting him down so. I like Ernie's message here, it has really helped me gain a sense of new peace and understanding about humanity and about how we are to see life through a more optimistic lens. God bless you, Ernie, and thank you. :)
I read all of this and you are alright in my book. I couldn't stand either one of them either, but now it is important to wish the new President well and not give in to bitterness and negativity. Like you and Ernie, I try to put my faith first too and I'm glad that doing so seems to have brought others to the same place it brought me. However, I can believe that a Christian or any person might vote for Hilary or Trump in good conscience, believing that it was the best they could do for the country. What worries me is the people like your dad (who may well have been a fine man otherwise) who can't credit people who disagree with them with good intentions or imagine that there might be common ground somewhere. I join in praying that President Trump does a good job for all of us.
Will Walsh Oh, well thank you, friend. :) Yes, I believe any Christian could vote for Trump and Hillary, too, which is perfectly okay. But no, I didn't like either one. Yep, here's to hoping that Trump does well. Yeah, people like my dad who likes to demonize others who don't agree with them worry me, too. I have friends who are from many sides of the political spectrum, and there really are places where we can all come together, one being that I think we all want what is best for our country, based on our different perspectives.
He fell prey to a false equivalence and wasted his vote like a fool, and in doing so, enabled this lunatic embarrassment that's president. He deserves condemnation.

Lmao you’re so hypocritical. You have so much bias, and it makes you a lunatic.

I don’t blame trump (at least no completely) for the division we have today. We need to legitimately look at big tech and how media companies are paid to spin divisive and gotcha narratives one the opposite party
Excellent point and to you my friend consumer of media I ask you this... where was the division in this? I think Ernie gave a valid point, me being a 50/50 (Liberal/Conservative) I gave Trump a chance and honestly within the first 2 years I had lost my “Let’s give him a chance” card
That’s all it’s about. Money, power, and feeling better than the other party

Hasn’t got better Ernie, hasn’t got better
My pastor showed this video at our church today, and I am so glad he did. I don't know a whole lot about this guy, but I think I like him. :)
I grew up in a staunchly Republican, conservative extremist household, where my sister and I were taught by our dad that all Democrats and liberals are "possessed destroyers." (I swear I am not making that up, he actually says that.) People like the Clintons were our boogeymen, and anyone who identified as liberal were just as demonized.
As someone quoted in church today, after all, "A house divided against itself cannot stand," and it also ties in with what Ernie said here about Jesus giving us the commandment to "love others."
So, I am still not a fan of Trump, I'm really not, I will be honest about that right now, and I know I've really put him down.
Yes, I believe any Christian could vote for Trump and Hillary, too, which is perfectly okay.
