    Well Ernie, fast forward 8yrs and you have your answer. He didn’t bring any sides together and governed only for his constituents. Yes the Dems have issues too, but not to this level of insanity from the GOP side.

    • @Peek935
      @Peek935 Год назад

      Incorrect rhetoric. The American political system is designed with a system of checks and balances, which means that the President does not have unilateral power to single-handedly "destroy" America. Policy implementation requires collaboration with other branches of government, including Congress and the judiciary. Additionally, the United States has a strong democratic system with established institutions and processes that provide avenues for legal challenges, oversight, and accountability. Therefore, it would be false to attribute the state of America solely to Joe Biden's actions.

    • @Peek935
      @Peek935 Год назад

      He is not wrong. Donald Trump's presidency was marked by ineffective leadership, controversial policies, erosion of democratic norms, ethical concerns and conflicts of interest, mishandling of the COVID-19 pandemic, and heightened polarization in American society. Complementary to that was his divisive leadership style, impulsive decision-making, attacks on democratic institutions, and failure to prioritize the best interests of all Americans. His policies and actions were often and are still met with controversy, and his ethical concerns and conflicts of interest raised questions about the integrity of the presidency, which is the most dangerous of all.

    It doesn’t matter who gets elected…. If they’re Republican, Democrats will burn everything to the ground. As I sit here in 2022 I can definitely say I miss Donald J Trumps economy.

    • @Peek935
      @Peek935 Год назад

      It would be inaccurate to solely attribute the state of the economy in 2016 solely to the Trump administration. In 2016, the U.S. economy was already on a trajectory of steady recovery from the Great Recession of 2008, with declining unemployment rates and increasing GDP growth starting in the early years of the Obama administration.

      LOL not at all. During Donald Trump's presidency, we saw a divisive and polarizing leader who often prioritized his personal interests over the needs of the American people. His frequent attacks on democratic institutions, erosion of democratic norms, and disregard for the rule of law raised concerns about the integrity of our democratic system. His controversial policies, such as the travel ban targeting Muslim-majority countries, harsh immigration policies, and environmental deregulation, faced widespread criticism for their potential negative impacts on vulnerable communities and the environment. His mishandling of the COVID-19 pandemic, downplaying its severity and spreading misinformation, resulted in unnecessary loss of life and economic disruption. His frequent use of inflammatory language and rhetoric fueled division and hostility, exacerbating polarization in American society. These actions and behaviors raised valid concerns about his fitness for leadership and the negative impact of his presidency on our country.
