I'm loving this ship.. Fast (I hope), well armored.. a smugglers delight, a blockade runner like the millennium falcon.
Oh man, I'm glad everyone else is excited about the Type 8, for me Elite Dangerous is all about shipping huge amounts of those invisible commodities. After getting Cutters and Anacondas I seldom use medium ships. Every time I jump in my Python 30 minutes later I put the ship back into storage.
Funny, but I’m really excited about this ship. I think even though it’s a medium ship , I’m hoping it’s going to carry more than a Python, perhaps 300 to 400 tons of cargo.
Yes it should definitely be able to carry more the a Python or it won't be interesting to use... how ever is better adapted to the SCO Frameshift drive... time will tell 🙂
It will carry less than the type 7, is my guess, with feev you never get everything you wish for.. I'm wishing for fast big capacity and covered in guns 😅.. maybe I'll get one of those wishes

Yea but it obsolete for experience players, t9 does the job already, no’s one is fighting with cargo on them… we need new large ships
It's to lure players in open... a heavy loaded ship that can land on medium pads and with lots off guns on it... but if for instance it can't carry more then a python then yes it's obsolete even before it's leaving the shipyard.
@@Grimulas but even a pythons is obsolete for trading, life will pass you by if you think it’s a viable choice over a t9
@@Grimulas I’ve noticed it’s redundant to build ships with a multi purpose in elite, you need dedicated ships for specific jobs in elite
But then you never can trade whit a outpost... and they most off the time have more quantity off a specific good... plus they will 9/10 pay more for it... T9 is a Space Truck yes... but limited in use.
Looks a bit too sexy imo. And with that, it doesn't fit in the Type line-up.
There is always the expansion on the rules 🙂
