I was really looking forward to this 2021-up body style 9C1 Tahoe. After doing a couple of them, I have found them annoying to work on. The worst part is the labeling for the wires. Yes, it's great that some of the same things you find in the center console, you will also find in the left rear. But they changed the naming convention, and it doesn't jive with the 9C1 upfit guide. 6J3 for example, is G4 in the front, and G8 in the rear, and BOTH are mixed with different I/O wiring.
What is normally the wiring setup for a typical vehicle? I need my car upfitted but I have to provide everything so I need to make sure my battery is protected
It's a detective car... some departments just put up a suction cup light to the windshield and call it a day. Compared to that setup, this thing is stacked.
It’s a detective unit. Way more than most have. People who want more side lighting, including this installer, for a detective unit are seriously ill informed on the operational needs for detectives.
@@Andrew-wj2mc so what its a detective car its not being used for undercover work you want people to see you are do you want to be rear-ended because you don't have rear deck lights
Police Vehicle upfitting is the expression of artistic installation talent for a competing group of upfitters in conjunction with agencies/departments to one-up each other through those afflicted with a psychiatric disease to the attraction or affinity to multi-colored flashing lights while all paid for by a third party. How much does this lighting cost and how is it better than a vehicle with a lightbar only? Discuss.....
Nice piece. Flash pattern is exceptional.
Those TouchMaster Delta tones in the background are so perfect.
Can you also show the electrical equipment/wiring in future videos? Thank you for the uploads 👍👍👍
This is an awesome setup. Simple and clean.

Is there a name for the position 3 flash patterns? Been seeing it more and more but haven't been able to put a name to it

Is a fantastic setup! Nice job!!!
More side lights are required

@@Andrew-wj2mc exactly. The problem LEDs brought with them is everything feels they must go everywhere simply because they can. Less is more.

@@jastubler and what are they
This car looks great
What flash pattern are you using in position 3 in drive?
Looks like “comet flash”, not sure what form though
Looks good. But for a detective who will probably rarely use the lights there’s plenty for the side lol
Where's the arm rest?
