  • This tutorial is a guidance for our current granny square blanket crochet along. However the yarn is a thick and much more dense acrylic, this square can be used in items such as blankets, doilies, table runner, vests, tops, scarves, waistcoats jackets, bags and even floor mats.
    We'll also be adding this item to our big project to come. Make 4 of these and then wait for the very next tutorial, joining our big squares.

    Thank you for this step by step tutorial! This was my first try at crocheting and I found it very helpful. I did need to slow the video down to .5 speed to really understand what to do. I am so excited to have just made my first granny square!! I can’t wait to learn how to crochet the squares together once I’ve made more squares. 😄

    I absolutely love this tutorial. I'm an intermediate crocheter so I was watching this video to learn how to make a granny square. But I'd still watch this even if I didn't know how to crochet.

    Thank you for taking the time to do this thicker thread version of the granny square. Could you do a very basic video on how to hold yarn and crochet hook properly. I know ... pathetic but true lol. I find my hands are constantly moving around trying to tighten thread, stitches etc. It’s actually kind of funny (I laugh at myself because it must really look strange to an expert ).

    • @WowCrochet
      @WowCrochet  5 лет назад +2

      Mrs KG. Nothing looks strange to me. I'm a little unorthodox in everything I do and the way I hold my hook and yarn. Apparently I have been told I hold my hook like a man... whatever that means 🤣
      I will do a small tutorial on that for you. However keep in mind that everyone is different what and best suits me, may not suit you. I will post a few ways of holding your hook and yarn. Go and practice them... find your niche and your set.
      Keep your eyes peeled over the next couple of days.
      Thank you for your request and happy crocheting to you 👍🧶
