I feel that lol. I wish I had patience like that lol, I'll lose to a hard boss my first try and all but uninstall the game nowadays lol. Far cry from when I was a kid spending literal days breaking Ocarina of Time. Had no problem spending an hour trying to seam walk up behind Hyrule castle lol. Wish I had Tears of the Kingdom back then that's for sure, cause I've had it for a week and I still haven't gotten off the sky island. Everywhere is gaps and dead ends and I really don't feel like dragging half the environment around just to start the damn game tbh lol.
Think of it like a bus. You have 5 people to pick up at different stops. Once you get everyone picked up, you go to the final stop. Each person has a 1 in 6 chance to decide to get off the bus. And if everyone decides to get off the bus, it's random chance they'll get off in the most efficient manner. If all people get picked up and dropped off in the most efficient manner, you meet your quota and get paid.
@@LesChats1991 I know. I really stretched to make this analogy. All because talking about frame rules and busses is a total meme now and I thought, "How can I make this like a bus?"
13:27 This is quite true, I run AM2R and I'm still not satisfied with my times despite being pretty good ones. The mentality can be due to wanting perfection when working on something that one already mastered which is at the same time cyclical since the next pb might not be perfect either but those cycles are also in perpetual motion since there are new findings between each of them.
Those were just about my words as well, Goose, on the last run you showed in the video. It's been wild to see what Ace continues to pull. Thanks for another great documentation of GE/PD!
So does basically everything with red food colouring in it, did you wake up in the early 2000s when this was news? Magic Spoon just tastes like shit and is ridiculously overpriced, dont even need to bring up a basic food colouring
GGF is my top 3 Speedrun channels. I don’t put anyone above anyone else, But Goose, Karl Jobst, and Tomato Anus cover everything anyone ever needed to know about sick speedruns. Cheers Goose! Another fucking awesome video! Loving it! -Chris
@@GamerFolklore Ohhhh duh, I feel like an idiot haha. Thanks for the reply Goose! Your videos are amazing, on level with any other gaming/speedrun channel!!
Dont waste your money, they taste horrible. I got some sent to the UK, powdery artificial taste, and like 3-4x the price of cheap low sugar cereals from a regular store. Literally cheaper to buy regular low sugar cereal, a box of protein powder, and mix it in.
Will it ever stop happening? Congratulations to all runners involved and also my mother. As a side note, I'd be interested to know which barriers Goose is most looking forward to seeing be broken in the future.
Speedrunning records should be legitimate as in something a person has to work on over and over on a endless grind until that one run where all the stars line up and the world record is set. It's always great to watch a speedrunner set a world record aftet countless tries and their emotions when they get the record
its weird that im canadian and didint know people say lee-ver here instead of lever. literally had to look it up. my guess is that english canadians from where im at (east) mostly come from immigration.
I was just thinking about the original goldeneye reviews and how funny it would be to send this video to anyone who gave goldeneye less than a perfect score for replayability, which was an important rating at the time. Imagine wtiting a letter to a game magazine that stopped printing 10 years ago and saying "this review didnt age well"
Iries run is the proof that even a 102 completion should be possible - I doubt it will happen anytime soon though or if it will it will happen with some 2.3 strat involved.
Has anyone been able to R-lean throw the tracker over the building to the helicopter? Is it even possible? Might open up a different strategy/route you can take
Can a 1:03 fail really be trusted fully if the bug toss was a bit of a rush job, though? I'm not saying that's always the case, of course, it's just something to keep in mind, I suppose.
In 6th grade our class had a mock business jig where we all started with fake money qnd you bring something from home to sell and whoever had the most fake money at the end won. I brought in my N64 with Mario Kart and Golden Eye pay to play which Golden Eye was the most popular and was sent to the principal and parents were called in.
I dig the summoning salt music vibes in the vid, good to see the speedrunning community embrace a style. For outsiders and normies these vids are the only peak into the world we have and the choices in the videos color our perspectives and it’s very welcoming.
Thanks for the video, they're always fun to watch and learn something. I'm not a big twitch viewer, but was the goose and perfectace meetup somewhere on his channel or goose's channel? i took a quick look and couldnt find it. might be fun to watch such an occasion.
my friend it just keep happening 😅 after a couple of non goldeneye videos we are back with this classic shooter game ! sit back relax and here we gooooooooooo 👰🏼♀️🕍
Big ups to Ace. Truly an n64 wizard with the patience of a monk. I would have just said frig it.
@BocoCorwin This is Pelagic II.
I "sea" what you did there...
HA

How long have you been sitting on that joke for?
Watching them chuck the tracker bug is insanely anxiety inducing.
It's not the throwing of the tracking bug which is insane, it's you.

and it looks like summoning salt just posted another vid
Nah not a good one.

The perfect video to cap off my weekend. Thanks dude

"Speedrunner finally gets LUCKY after years!"
the jokes write themselves
Ace is an alien. The movement in his runs are about as TAS as TAS gets. Blazing runs. IT JUST KEEPS HAPPENING.
Those were just about my words as well, Goose, on the last run you showed in the video. It's been wild to see what Ace continues to pull. Thanks for another great documentation of GE/PD!
Magic Spoon has bugs in it. Just thought y'all should know.
So does basically everything with red food colouring in it, did you wake up in the early 2000s when this was news?
Magic Spoon just tastes like shit and is ridiculously overpriced, dont even need to bring up a basic food colouring
Has it been patched yet?
1:44 "And hey, who doesn't love soy-free?" nice subtle callback
'who doesn't love soy free' lmao i love u goose never change
Now there needs to be a video about his B1 SA 19 (if not done by Karl)
This is always such a treat to watch.
one day i'll find someone that looks at me like goose does at a bowl of magic spoon
Goose eating cereal seems like a backrooms thing. It's hard to explain.
Good lord Goose, this was an extremely well put together video on Ace's record and the events leading up to it. I thoroughly enjoyed this one.
Thanks SDF! Good to see you around and enjoying 🙂

Summoning Salt is a legend as well but yes all those you mentioned are legends
Who the hell call their channel tomato anus!?
"Go check it out, already subscribed"
Ohhh! Love that guy!
I like your top 3, though the Summoning Salt theme started playing in my head while reading your comment
There’s a guy called Tomato Anus? Lol.
LOL, ace tied goose's aztec 00 agent run on the same day with a 2 second stuck.
He just never bothered to post it.
It's true, it's true. The 133 was untied for roughly 23 hours 🥲
Best speedrunning channel ever buddy
I'm not your buddy, pal
Last year on my birthday Calle W got Dam 52, and this year Ace got Frigate 1:03. May 16th is truly a lucky day for Goldeneye Speedrunners.
Ace is a god, but did he waste about a second on his watch the second time he brought it up in that last Secret Agent run?
The timer doesn't run when you're in the watch pause menu.
@@GamerFolklore Ohhhh duh, I feel like an idiot haha. Thanks for the reply Goose! Your videos are amazing, on level with any other gaming/speedrun channel!!
You are an Amazing storyteller. The lottery example/the grandmaster chest examples are great for non-golden eye players such as myself.
Thank you!
As a kid my brother was playing frigate when we found out that our guinea pig had died so it always makes me think of that now
May he rest in peace 🕊️🙏
perfect ace says "f*** your heroes" as he headkicks Spiderman
My friends,it just keeps happening!!🎉❤😊 great video as always my friend!
Its just amazing. Seeing what I did in my bedroom all day when I was 15 now becoming a major sport. Wait let me rephrase that.
Ha!
1:43 a TRULY REMARKABLE selling point for Magic Spoon
2:11
they really got our boy doing infomercial shots enjoying cereal out here
12:01 Can Ace grab me a lottery ticket next time he’s out? Cheers
That Magic Spoon looks yum 😋 do they ship to Australia?

Ace is on a tear! I've been waiting for update content. His times page looks sick now.

Always great to hear goldeneye news goose.
Goose going,
"My friends it just keep happening." has become as iconic to me as Summoning Salts intro music.
Ryan eating cereal is so wholesome
9:49 epic reactions like this... It's like chasing the unicorn 🦄 (I think that's the analogy??) and finally catching him!!
He was talking about how he never ate out and the game was like "omg me neither" and gave him the win
"luck" = Bad RNG. Classic Goose
I liked just for your enjoyment of that weird cereal Goose!
This is a nice length for these videos, enjoyed it!

For real i love that "IT KEEPS HAPPENING", sounds so good to heard you say this phrase 😂❤
That Golden Irie 1 04 (9:45) was so hype
as I hear "My Friends" I hit the couch and close my eyes...
Iries run is the proof that even a 102 completion should be possible - I doubt it will happen anytime soon though or if it will it will happen with some 2.3 strat involved.
the handle bar grip on the spoon is sending me
Sweet, another Goose masterpiece. 🙂
We Love You Goose!!
this level is absolutely insane for speedrunning
Big ups to Irie.. love hopping on twitch and seeing him grinding when everyone else is asleep!
the frigate ship would be hard to speed run rescuing the hostages when you are trying to rush and not kill them by accident lol
Nothing better than a fresh upload from Goated Goose. It’s a good day. 🙌🏾🙌🏾
Has anyone been able to R-lean throw the tracker over the building to the helicopter? Is it even possible? Might open up a different strategy/route you can take
Wow! Damn good work, Ace!
Amazing. Big love ❤️
Sunk cost fallacy is the only reason people play this stage
Nah it's played because removing the luck factors of hostages, it's actually really fun movement and gameplay, plus exciting at the end.
When you smoke a MASSIVE Bifta and then goose delivers the goods....YES SON
Ace just keeps happening
Woop, WOOOOOP!
Can a 1:03 fail really be trusted fully if the bug toss was a bit of a rush job, though? I'm not saying that's always the case, of course, it's just something to keep in mind, I suppose.
Ace is truly a god at this game
Irie Butler is such a hardworker, he deserved the crown imho.
It just keeps happening!
It just keeps happening! 😎

That's a great story!
Here we goooo!!!!!
Let’s go, baby!
Pretty sure my childhood cereals didnt taste like shit and half the bag was just air.
Story made me legit tear up. Grinding and grinding to get something you want and then getting it. Very inspirational
Ace is the undisputed Goldeneye GOAT
Feel like I hit the lottery with this upload
Thanks for the news

The Luck of the Haru in effect.
Like sand through an hourglass, these are the Days of our Lives
Fantastic!
Mario speedrunning: Imagine a bus...
Goldeneye speedrunning: Imagine delivering mail...
Thanks for the video, they're always fun to watch and learn something. I'm not a big twitch viewer, but was the goose and perfectace meetup somewhere on his channel or goose's channel? i took a quick look and couldnt find it. might be fun to watch such an occasion.
It's on the SpeedLore channel.
Congrats on 100k Goose
good job perfect ace !
Casino bot speedrun? If I ever get into Goldeneye for whatever reason, I know what level I'm grinding. 😂
I want that cereal 😢, definetly get some when im in the USA
Content from goose is the best content
Frigate was always my favorite level as a kid
Sponsor's on point in this vid.
Incredible!
Great video.
The title of this video is the story of my life.
Truly remarkable.
Near the end of the video. "Hey what's morgana doing there"
my friend it just keep happening 😅 after a couple of non goldeneye videos we are back with this classic shooter game ! sit back relax and here we gooooooooooo 👰🏼♀️🕍
Magic spoon GoldenEye, MTV and kazaa nostalgia my friends 🥹
Wow, that's a pretty massive time skip
Oh. What a shame it wasn't one in a million.
Holy shit I can’t wait for part 2
for your analogy to make sense it would have to be mail letters to 6 boxes, not EVERY mail box in the city.... there aren't 100's of hostages
11:10 one would even say "millions to one"
Ace is Rayan, right? Dude is insanely good at what he does, my autism isn't near as laser-focused as his is
