Can’t thank you enough for the method. Was totally stuck until I watched this. Drove back and forth a few times and the stuck rear wheel came unstuck. Thank you!!!
Thank you! You saved us today! At 2 a.m., far from home, we got a flat tyre, and while trying to change it, the tire was stuck and wouldn’t move no matter how hard we tried. It was freezing, but your simple solution saved us from paying a lot for someone to come and fix it, as well as from having to wait in this weather for help to arrive! However, we had to loosen lug nuts more than what you did.
I live in a whole different country, language barrier is awful.. 3 am I got stranded and tried for hours to fix my tire. Because of this video me and my fiancée figured it out. So thankful😭❤️
Try leaving the lug nuts a little looser than you did and jack up the vehicle far enough to put a 2x4 under the edge of the tire and slowly let the vehicle down on the 2x4, pops off every time!
driving my Clubman back and forward for just a meter or so, with sharp breaking has helped me to resolve an hour fight with a notoriously stuck wheel.. !
I’m scouring RUclips for tips and still nothing. I have tried driving like this up to like 50kph and slamming on the brakes and still nothing. Wheels lock up but this last wheel does not break free. I might keep this snow tire on the car this summer, haha
@@rishirathod31415 I eventually got it. But nothing I found on RUclips worked. What I ended up doing was this. I drilled a 5mm hole in the rim between two wheel studs but just deep enough to go through the rim and not got too far into the brake hub. Then I used a tap to thread that small hole in the rim. Then slowly screwed a bolt into the hole to push the rim off the hub. As I was screwing it I used a hammer to hit and shock the rim so it would break free. That worked.
That’s what I usually do. But my back is messed up from an accident so I was looking for an easier way. I’ve done this before, but just lowering the car, never driving it. Not a bad idea
@mysteryandmeaning297 Bullshit. That's why I had to go on RUclips. Because I tried that and it didn't work. I hadn't rotated the tires in 3 years and I live in NH.

Thank you tried everything on every channel, saw this last. It worked!

what if the tire you want to take off, has rusted on the rotor and is flat?
WD-40 Helps
Thank you fantastic tip worked for me on ŠKODA Octavia so simple
Great to hear! Glad the tip worked out for you.

@@c0mputerdamn, that’s one seriously stuck rim man
@@c0mputer what kind of bolt did you use? I dont have a stuck wheel but a stuck wheel bearing and cant get it of using the screwing the bolt method
Thanks bud. Just saw a nother guy use the spare as a giant mallet and in a pendulum motion struck rubber on rubber and it loosens.

great stuff, what about a deadblow
I was worried a dead blow could damage the wheel and/or tire.
What if you have a punture and the valve is f😅
I tried this. Didn’t work 😂😭
Easy way it to leave loose lug nuts on it drive it backwards 2 feet slam breaks
I just unstuck my wheel by back kicking the wheel and it work in about 10 seconds.
Thanks partna
If kick the wheel on its sides not the bottom or top it will come right off.

@@katherinew1366 sometimes it works
Nope. Doesn't work. I'm going to have to loosen the lugs and drive around hitting pot holes.
Work on a midwestern vehicle bc you advice doesn't work
