04-08 2006 F150 weird unusual 5 door chime

- SOLUTION : 8/3/2017 - on my truck, fuse #27 blew. This was a 5amp fuse.
If you don't have the user manual to find fuse #27, then Google "fuse diagram 2006 f150". The first diagram should give you the location of the fuse in the panel.
The fuse panel is located on the right kick panel of the passenger side.
Along with this, make sure that your airbag connector located at the top of the radio bezel is connected too.
This happened right after I got my truck broken into and my stereo stolen. Between a minute and two after I turn on my truck, this sound comes on... 5 chimes 5 times... a total of 25 chimes when i'm either driving, parked with my truck on, or even with the key in the "on" position.
Looking for a way to turn off the chime.
Anyone watching this video… check your airbag light connecter behind the radio bezel and check your #27 fuse. I put a 7.5 instead of 5 amp and fixed my problem. Hope it helps

So I never got around to make the solution video but, view my description that's where I detailed my solution.
I did the same thing switch out fuse 27 and reconnect the thing in top of the radio too and nothing the noise still there but thanks anyways
Pull down your sun visor. The airbag warning will explain it. When I had my 93 Taurus it had that issue. I randomly unplugged the front crash sensor and then plugged it back in. It solved my problem
5 chimes 5 times. It is! The airbag light ( bottom right corner of cluster) if it doesn't light up that's the reason for the chime. I took the suspension bulb from directly above it and switched them. If it lights up.... Problem solved

So replacing the fuse fixed the beeping issue? Mine just started doing the same thing and didnt know what it was.

This was the resulting sound after my aftermarket stereo was broken. The air bag wire that connects behind the top face plate basically short circuted which blew out the fuse, thus resulting with this sound.
Just got done reading through the comments.... Thanks for the info. I am going to replace the fuse (#27) and see if that fixes the problem, I have a 2004 F-150 and this same problem started happening after I replaced the instrument cluster that came from the junk yard. So I guess it does tie into the air bag somehow

I would say go ahead & recheck the fuses #27 & the other one, then make sure that the connections to the stereo bezel is connected on the top & on the bottom.. But mainly more the top one since that's the passenger air bag deal.
That is the airbag module beeping. This happens when the airbag light bulb burns out and there is a problem with the airbag system.

changed the fuses and still dinging. Truck has this cheap K-9 alarm thats not hooked up and I can tell there used to be some sort of aftermarket radio/sub. So I have no clue which wire is causing it to chime.

My ‘05 did this it was just the airbag bulb in the cluster that was burned out. You have to pull the instrument cluster out to change out the bulb(Good time to change all the bulbs to LEDs) I was going to put a new cluster in mine anyway (stx package doesn’t come with tach) but the problem was just a burned out bulb
I have the same chime....but it only chimes once... randomly..... would this be the same problem?
I also have the same problem on my f150 04 what should I do to turn it off I’ve check all sensors still alarm never off.

my 02 f150 started doing the same thing last week it berly reached 50k miles, I noticed that the air bag light on the gauge cluster was completely off and it chimes 5 times for 5 times I changed it and it stopped making the noise
Same shit happen to me the fucked up your passager air bag the truck is tell you that by makeing the chime
After the 25 chime it'll stop but if u drive for 25min or more it'll do it all over again

What the hell is that? I have the same 5 sets of five beeps of death. i have been killing myself trying to figure it out. I travel in this truck all over the country in this truck building stores and it makes me want to blow my brains out. Any new info?

I found out that it was my #27 5amp fuse that needed to be replaced.

Hiten Patel it's a warning for your airbag system. It's beeping because the light in your dash is not coming on. I'm going through the same thing in my 04 F150

Don Lomeli I Took the instrument cluster out trying to see if the lightbulb was burnt out, don't waste your time it's a LED so it's still good. While I had it apart I put a piece of tape over the thing that beeps so it's not as loud... lol. So it's sill not fixed, I just need to take it to the dealership one day.
Daniel Pinkerton were you able to take the motherboard apart from the speedometer casing. I can't figure it out
