Looking forward to the toothy grin with no more teeth shattering! A few drops of TapMagic costs a lot less than most drill bits and can make them last far longer than 1 to 4 holes. Shocked some folks when I would take a 7.2 volt cordless drill with a 1/2 inch bit in it and drill a dozen holes in steel girders on one bit and one battery by literally using an occasional drop or two of TapMagic on the bit since a very little goes a long way. Learning how to sharpen drill bits can also save a lot of time and money. Sad that many of the new drill bit designs make them very difficult to impossible to sharpen without grinding enough off to take them back to conventional twist. Best!
@@williamtarpley4025 Preaching to the choir. Have the portable version you power with your drill, a standalone benchtop model, side face wheel on the bench grinder for doing by hand plus a jig for the bench grinder for the bits too small or too large for the other sharpeners or that require a custom angle. Yes I agree the tap magic is the best and you are right the newer bits especially the cheaper ones are hard to almost impossible to sharpen but that's what they want so you'll hv to buy new ones... and I forget the name of the one kind I got a couple of yrs ago but whatever they are they sharpen alot better than the name brand ones I was so surprised..
From a biomechanics perspective, you shouldn't be at full lockout during impact. If you are at full lockout, the energy of impact is absorbed into the joint (less than ideal). Ideally a slight bend in joint will transfer that energy into muscles and soft tissues (more better).

I've always used Rocol RTD rather than Tap Magic because it was what we had at work before I retired (40 years as a toolmaker and design engineer), but the main thing is to use something. Even a thick mix of Soluble Oil (lathe, mill and bandsaw coolant/lube) is better than nothing. It makes the tool last longer and the cut easier. and might produce a better finish.

Milwaukee should have sent you a bunch of chargers as well. Mine got grinding dust in it and blew up after charging 3 batteries. By comparison, the Makita charger that always sits next to it is 8 years old and still works.
Nothing like 6 hours in a noisy vehicle to show dedication. Thanks Tony.Nice meeting you.HillBilly being adultnapped for some helpful work was pretty nice of those guys.Just so long as he doesn't come back with a reverse Mohawk. :) The 'Shoverolet' looks tough, but the radiator in front is a mistake.(of course you know by now) Hope it was fun.
I was thinking of up grading to battery powered hand tools untill I saw the price of replacing the batteries, I can buy a lot of Ext cords for what batteries cost
Woof Trust me. Once you go Battery , you will never look back. There are three mandatory cordless tools. Drill, Impact Wrench and Sawzall. If you are into cars at all. An impact wrench at a junkyard is a godsend. It comes down to Red , Yellow, Blue Cordless . You buy batteries when they are on sale and you can repack your old batteries. They also make battery adapters so you can interchange the batteries. Not hating on HF Cordless Tools. My first Impact Wrench was HF.
Drill bit tip heat is what kills the sharpness on drill bits when they lose their temper by over rotating them at high speed and allowing them to heat up they become dull because the metal has softened and they lose their edge slow down your drill bit speed and they will cut a lot longer
The friednship and respect between Robby and Hillbilly is tangible. Robby was more serious the whole time after Hillbilly left. Makes me laugh each time The Boss scolds Robby like he was one of her kids.
The more and more that I watch you guys the more I enjoy your channel some channels have just got to where there’s nothing morr about other than producing a morr video basically making it look like a TV show no real camaraderie no heart it seems kind of sort of here you have your wife still doing the video taping. I really enjoy that part shows me that you’re very family oriented and want her to be involved not just riding along or driving a big truck but to actually help create the content people aren’t complaining morr about the equipment being used in the shop Just get in there and get it done attitude. you and hillbilly just really work together laugh together, kind of a Ying and yang thing there’s definitely a lot of shenanigans between you two that you can tell, is all fun and games there’s other morr channels that have really lost that feeling I don’t know if it’s because they have morr subscribers which could either hurt you making you produce different types of videos, then from the beginning so they don’t care or maybe it’s morr in the lines of just how they want to do things nowadays not really sure would love to know the answer though, but definitely love your channel and please keep it up. Nothing wrong with getting more subscribers just don’t change the dynamics. If what’s working is working. Obviously I would assume eventually you’ll probably need at least one more helper besides just you and hillbilly. It was always fun having you hillbilly and dinner, so obviously, I hope you bring somebody on that has that same brotherly input that you had and have with hillbilly and dinner. 😅
I tried to get implants twice but neither of them took. They put some cadaver bones in the sockets to promote bone growth but my mouth was like GET OUT OF HERE and the little slivers just worked their way out through my gums. fun times.

Mine got grinding dust in it and blew up after charging 3 batteries.
By comparison, the Makita charger that always sits next to it is 8 years old and still works.
Best wishes to Hillbilly, recover fast mate!
Excellent choice of caps Joel
Nothing like 6 hours in a noisy vehicle to show dedication. Thanks Tony.Nice meeting you.HillBilly being adultnapped for some helpful work was pretty nice of those guys.Just so long as he doesn't come back with a reverse Mohawk. :) The 'Shoverolet' looks tough, but the radiator in front is a mistake.(of course you know by now) Hope it was fun.
You're the boss every employee would like to work for. Excellent!
Derby car looking good.
Congratulations Robbie, glad you took Hillbilly's advice. You are the man.
You can really tell this means a lot to hillbilly. Thank you for caring for your employees.
Aw Robby Thank GOD for YOU and your family and Team members Congratulations Hillbilly
As sad as I was when Dinner left I think these guys were a great addition to the team even although it was just a flying visit.
I don’t think dinner left. I’m not 100% sure but I think big dinner is working on his health! He still pops in to film from time to time
@@Tegridy_Rc Robbie said that Dinner left to be closer to his fiance. He said he wasn't very happy but wished Dinner all the best for his future.
Yes Dinner did leave.
They put some cadaver bones in the sockets to promote bone growth but my mouth was like GET OUT OF HERE and the little slivers just worked their way out through my gums. fun times.
