I was thinking the same thing when they started doing the derby stuff again. I think Paul is definitely wanting to heard that in a recent video, I’m not sure about Matt though…. But hopefully they all start again lol
@@COM70 Did you catch Lincoln in Dinner's arms while sitting in a chair in the background of one shot in the mechanical shop? Dinner looked as natural as could be holding a baby.
I love seeing the baby with the boys, hey sometimes you just gotta pass the boy around to get anything done, good job fellas, the more he's around that stuff the easyer life will be when he gets older, my boy runs to my 2 stroke 4 wheeler when I turn it on ,he's not scared of loud noise or anything, and can sleep right thru it as well, keep up the good work
So interesting seeing a derby car build. Never knew there was so much work put into them but it does make sense. Another fun video well done on the build 👌👌
Gotta say my back hurts just watching the mayhem. I also like that the kiddo is just hanging in the shop, not scared at all by all the tools running and engines blaring.
Congratulations on the win. Demo derby's have changed a lot in the last 60 years. We couldn't do much of anything to the cars except remove the glass and upholstery, add seat belts, and put a GI jerry can above the rear axle in the trunk for a gas tank. Reinforcing was not allowed, except for around the driver. Only one driver too. "Captain Crunch" was always the name written on our cars, and a new car was needed for every night of competition. There was almost never enough left to use the body again anyway. They wet the field, so speed for a good hit was almost impossible.
Congrats on the two wins, what an amazing team!! Can’t wait to see more derby car builds in the future!! It’s great seeing some funny on the channel, because all work no play is not fun!!
There’s different “waves”. Some are just gut the car and do simple things like gas tank and stuff and run them. There’s a lot to these derby’s, more then most people realize tbh..
You can “I guess” lol…. I grew up around derby’s and still help my buddies with theirs (Theirs ain’t as good and Robbie’s but don’t tell them that😂) but now that I seen a couple neat tricks I’ll have to relay the info and help them out haha
@@dakotamiller643 I hope you didn't take that "I guess" with the wrong meaning. I meant it the same way I would say "right" or "I bet". I personally don't know anything about it, but I like it
Robby thank you for the in car camera footage that was definitely a lot of fun to watch I wish I was there in person. You guys did a great job even with a motor not running at 100 percent you still won the race. I am looking forward to next week's video I am sure you guys will get everything figured out
My gosh I said a loud Hecky Dang when that chain snapped! I've seen that happen before, when a chain whips through the air pray no one's in the way! Talk about a professional paint job 😉😆 Congratulations to Casy and to both of you on your wins! A great time was had by all. Wish Hillbilly could have been there. Looking forward to some more smash ups. Stay safe and GOD bless
It's funny to see the contrast between the fine fine exact work Robby does with projects like the Golden Nugget and then this barbarian stuff to get the derby car ready. You guys out in Utah are big on demo derby cars. It was big where I live in NJ back in the 70's and early 80's but all the race tracks are gone now and it's a lost art around here.
HAAAAAAAA!!!!! OMG THAT WAS SOOO MUCH FUNNNNN!!!!! "You and I/Us" have been through so much over the last ... (wow) however long its been now, This was an amazing and (im not afraid to admit it) emotional video! A WIN for you is like a win for us!!! the Derby was so much fun!!! Great job!! Thank you all for taking me along for the ride!
I love learning new ways. Your teaching an old dog new tricks.1 Super interesting. I been in Collision repair for 20 years. Never have I seen. Frame repair like this.
This was fun to watch and I bet it was very fun to participate in. I enjoy learning about how you guys put these cars together, I would love to see more on it and learn why you make the different modifications to them.
That was AWESOME!!! Thanks for taking us along for the ride. Congrats on all the wins. Oh yeah, Jordyn Stewart, that was an awesome cameo appearance at the end of the video. 😄
Mornin guys.....excellent video guy's.....great job on the carnage-mobile !!.... amazing cam & editing work....it was a full team send by all (even the baby was diggin it !!)
That's the first dual driver derby I have seen. Looks like y'all were having fun with the car regardless of how it ran. Can't wait to see the next derby!
As I watch this I think to myself I wonder how a team of Robby, Paul, Matt and some of their other derby buddies would do in the team demolition derby in Joliet Illinois.
I used to race demolition derbies it was 10 laps around the track bump to pass and then we'd all get in the center and destroy each other, and I did the figure 8 track back in the early eighties. Then I ran out of '57 Oldsmobiles and Buicks to use as derby cars.
ENJOYED THE VIDEO! DERBY AWESOME! Brings back alot of memories. Dinner really cool of you get HillBilly trophy! Good to see friends helping each other thinking about their friends.
I head that Roman Atwood, demolitionranch, and Cletus Mcfarlen are working on doing a creator demo derby. You guys should reach out and join. Get Paul and Matt in on it too.
Adjusting the timing while sitting in the drivers seat. Classic!
I can and have done that in my 94 GMC Safari. 🙃
Common practice in the derby world
Popping open the radiator cap barehanded.
Manual choke barehanded.
Anything to do with ether aerosol spray.
Lincoln is getting the best education ever right there with Pop and company.
So happy you guys are getting back into building them and running them hopefully Paul and Matt will get back into it
I hope so too!!!
Nice idea
I was thinking the same thing when they started doing the derby stuff again. I think Paul is definitely wanting to heard that in a recent video, I’m not sure about Matt though…. But hopefully they all start again lol
Paul gonna run again soon.
The "pop".. the dramatic pause.. followed by the deadpan "Son of a.." and quick edit was gold
That child is lucky having so many cool, kind, crazy, talented men as role models growing up.
Totally
I really wish my family was like them. But I’m also glad that they aren’t crazy and wild
Yup,
I kinda think that boy is going to grow up and be "one of the biggest trophies" Robby has ever won. If you know what I mean.
@@barbeonline351 they have the cutest kids, and I see them in the arms of a different person in every shot. That is a great sign.
@@COM70 Did you catch Lincoln in Dinner's arms while sitting in a chair in the background of one shot in the mechanical shop? Dinner looked as natural as could be holding a baby.
That child is going to have hearing problems later!
"Son of a...." That part got me good, I was laughing for about a minute after that!

Those were the days my friend
If the #24 is a quad barrel check the choke on the back sounds like it's stuck open

Must be relaxing to not have to worry about body filler, sanding, prep before paint or does it hurt your soul to not make it perfect?
Let's hope it makes it!

LMFAO!!! You shoved that blade thru that bolt. You guys crack me up

Looks like a lot of hard work and also a lot of fun. You're having a great time out there. Get it done.

Them little scratches will buff right out easy.

Congratulations on your victories. A wonderful evening of family entertainment. So I guess there were lots of winners!
It’s amazing the derby’s down there back home in Saskatchewan drivers door was a auto kick out
Case's shirt is so cool! I need one!
When we demoed we couldn't do any of that stuff, basically weld the doors, break the windows and dock the bumpers
Way to go, Robbie. Well done, you !
Robby has bragging rights to Matt's off-road and fabrats 🤘🤘
