Cletus just a little bit of advice… Wipe your windows on the jet boat with ‘Rain-Ex’. The water runs off like beads and leaves your windows perfectly clear. I used it first on my motorbike helmet visor and never looked back. I use it on my car window screen and don’t need to use the window screen wipers anymore because it leaves the window screen clear even in heavy rain. Love the jet boat videos, top man 👌👍😎
Who gonna be first to say "that'll buff out"? To my inexperienced mariner's eyes, it just needs some hammerin', weldin' and a patch over the holes and it'll be 'bout like new, just be very careful to not slam into any more rocks or trees or other shallow-water-based heavy and/or immovable objects :P Maybe see if ya can't upgrade the bilge with a second pump you can flip on if this happens again, and carry some *_aluminium epoxy sticks,_* it cures in water and you hammer the hole flat-ish and knead the stick of epoxy over the hole like putty, it either stops or mostly stops the leak and you have a minute at most to shape it, so flex tape on the outside to stop the water for a few moments, then slather on the epoxy, then head back out onto the water after a minute is up, it'll cure and bond to the aluminium in the water and boom, its fixed enough to keep going or get back home where you can remove the epoxy and do a more permanent repair.
You might want to re- inforce the lower side of the boat with 1/4" aluminum plate. Kinda beef it up a little you have plenty of power now with the new jet. Crazy video.

wait a little longer before watching the video. it can take YT up to 20-30 minutes to do the automatic CC. but also remember that the automatic CC freaks out if there's a static noise like engines sadly.
You'll also want to build a large inlet screen box or dam around the bilge pump. When you get that much water in the boat wrappers and all these little things float up and run back to the bilge pump which will clog its small inlets.
I almost sank my boat with a wrapper around the bilge pump once. Didn't feel like anything was around it, it was sucked down so smooth. kept clawing at it until I found a little piece and the pump started peeing a little. Then I knew what it was and was able to peel it off. close call
@@TheKajunkat a bilge pump is really just designed for nuisance water, it's not designed to keep your boat from sinking. That's why I suggested the use of a gusher pump in a previous comment, they can take some small debris like those wrappers and pump a tremendous amount of water

I've used it on a million things - about 2" of it held my mailbox on for months till the neighbor whacked it again.
Love the jet boat videos, top man 👌👍😎
George says "brother" a lot more when he gets nervous LOL
It's code for "dumbass."
That was awesome , I was at the edge of my seat pretty much the entire video. A+ for George, he really carried this video on his shoulders.
Really impressed with Chad protecting my boat like he has been 😂
needed some of that flex tape, glad y'all and the boat made it out, weld it and plate the inside of the hole.
sounds like McFarland science needs to meet McFarland marine. and find out how much flex seal can keep your boat floating.
Typical Florida Man science right there 😂
"Never sank a boat on this channel." One episode later "well boys.... we sank the boat."
well they still haven't. I watched the whole video, never saw a boat sink. Only saw the mtn dew boat take on some water, but no sinking
Took on water, didn't sink
Can we just take a moment to appreciate the robust engineering that goes into these dudes hard heads.
George had brought a lot of life to this channel he’ll yeah brother
Who gonna be first to say "that'll buff out"? To my inexperienced mariner's eyes, it just needs some hammerin', weldin' and a patch over the holes and it'll be 'bout like new, just be very careful to not slam into any more rocks or trees or other shallow-water-based heavy and/or immovable objects :P
Maybe see if ya can't upgrade the bilge with a second pump you can flip on if this happens again, and carry some *_aluminium epoxy sticks,_* it cures in water and you hammer the hole flat-ish and knead the stick of epoxy over the hole like putty, it either stops or mostly stops the leak and you have a minute at most to shape it, so flex tape on the outside to stop the water for a few moments, then slather on the epoxy, then head back out onto the water after a minute is up, it'll cure and bond to the aluminium in the water and boom, its fixed enough to keep going or get back home where you can remove the epoxy and do a more permanent repair.
Yep. What he said.

There’s no way that was the only camera angle on that “detour” over the rocks 😂
George the loudest and most scared person on the entire trip, everyone else chill and relaxed.
Also the only one who can’t swim 🫣
@@Mrtall81 lolz ya don't need to swim when ya bob along like a cork.
@@Mrtall81 They need to enroll him in a swim class with a bunch of 5 year old kids.
Gotta say, Cleetus stayed really calm for the situation. Major props on that .
I laughed harder than I should've when the giraffe almost fell off the boat immediately after getting un-stuck
You might want to re-
inforce the lower side of
the boat with 1/4" aluminum plate. Kinda
beef it up a little you
have plenty of power
now with the new jet.
Crazy video.
That's the last thing they should do
I love Garrett so much he’s the best guy, the boat is sinking and he’s the nicest way of being like yup she’s sinking brother hahahahhaa
I could of swore george was gonna man overboard with the boogie board🤣 best of luck getting her back on the water!
Literally last boat video "we've never sank a boat here at McFarland Marine"
George and whole world: "Dammit...."
Cleetus you gotta enable closed captions so my deaf ass can actually understand what y’all are saying Lmfso I’m not the greatest at reading lips. Love what y’all are doing keep it up brother y’all are a force to be Reckoned with
He said Hell yeah brother..
wait a little longer before watching the video. it can take YT up to 20-30 minutes to do the automatic CC. but also remember that the automatic CC freaks out if there's a static noise like engines sadly.
Is it just me or is George usually around when something goes expensively wrong?
It’s that effin pebble lol
You have a point there
“Full-coverage George”.
It ain’t very if at all expensive
@@brandon_doe Just the wrap is expensive.
Wooden branches are an incredibly effective temporary way to plug a split hull. In fact, the Navy uses soft wood wedges to mend or slow leaks.
can't believe your channel has surpassed a billion views already man. GREAT JOB
This man knows how to have a darn good time
Cleetus kicking the metal in his plastic croc got me 🤣😂
You'll also want to build a large inlet screen box or dam around the bilge pump.
“ sinking your boat “ is how your upgrading to something like the give away boat i see lol
Warning: Scammer posting on topics with promises of you being a Shortlisted Winner
@@mrmatt7210 hey thanks i can spot them but i notice some others still can’t. This is a good idea 👍
@@mrmatt7210 Good on you for taking the time to point these guys out. Hopefully ppl figure out the scam and it stops being effective and they go away.
“Oh it says smoke a bud”
“Oh, whoops”
*george zooms in on the marijuana leaf*
Brother we got water in the boat 🤣 George face was hilarious
I mean you do drive em pretty hard, it was only a matter of time, but if you had fun doing it then that's all that counts. Life is full of lessons. Some kinda suck but hey. As long as you are learning.
And perks of RUclips, you rock it, content $$$, you wreck it, content $$$ either way he makes money from using it, it's a win win.
My wife saw it on your Instagram story, I told her no way, it was a ruse! This is just a reason to build your own $60,000 boat 👀
Wesley, dont fall for the claim of being a Shortlisted Winner. This is a scam.
nah see, you build cheap boats so you can beat em up like this
building a $60,000 boat and sinking/damaging that hurts much more
@@mrmatt7210 the best way to protect others from these bots is to report the comments so they get removed
@@mattbradshaw6456 I reported it 👍🏼
@@mattbradshaw6456 I agree, but in the meantime I didn't wish the original poster to be taken
That would have been a good time for all that flex seal you guys had XD
My God, That supercharger whine 😍🥰❤ Pure Music to my ears. And a big HELL YA BROTHER! For ya'll.
George. “And I didn’t bring any bubblegum.” McFarland marine for the win.
