For all of you saying she damaged her hair have you ever lifted black hair dye I think she did a good job some people don't want to lift gradually and want to switch up there colour I switch up mine but from black i normally do 2sets of highlights few months apart with toners I have long thick hair that is not overly damaged when going back dark I dye or red or orange before putting on the darker colour i often get compliments or asked what salon I go to
@Maddalena Pelchov na it's not worth the hassle it hardly lifts best way to go from dark to light is full head of high lights in a few sessions months apart in stages
@Maddalena Pelchovno one is hyping it up you dont get it she did not want to do it in stages or a process if you want to go from black to blonde hair fast expect some damage not everyone wants to wait months and do it gradually i have long healthy hair store brought colour remover is a waste of time you would be better off doing a bleach bath but even then as I said highlights gradually from dark brown/black hair 3 full head highlights can be lifted to a nice multi tonal blonde saving your hair in the process
Using a colour remover or bleach bath to remove majority of the colour before bleaching would have been ideal. A lower volume developer could then be used in one round of bleaching which would cause less damage :/
@Maddalena Pelchov how would i apply it? i have about two weeks to go from black back to my bleached hair underneath ! should i use a color remover then developer ?
@Maddalena Pelchov ugh i just have very curly hair and i don’t want to ruin my curl pattern, i’ve box lightened it around 4 times with cream of nature dye, and i haven’t damaged it at all, but i’ve never used actual bleach
@Maddalena Pelchov hey you seem like you know a lot about this. Can I had a question for you...I hAvE dyed hi lift medium brown hair with grey peeking through and an inch of roots that are super dark brown with 60% grey thru the front of my hair the back roots don't have as much grey. I got 20v developer and BW2 lightner. I want to bleach it then I have a bottle of really dark blonde dye. Do I bleach it down to orange or do I need to get it super light for the dark blonde dye to take????
This is so helpful and encouraging. I wish you had listed the products ypu used in the write up under the video. That would have been really helpful for me. But this is a very small thing, so please don't feel I am complaining. Your video is great.
at this moment,I'm sitting with a bag around my head just used 20%volume for bleach bath . sat now for 10 mins and its now like a light red brown.. I felt a bleach bath on black dyed hair was better but I've just ordered 40volume and I actually thought I did order that at first..and for 20 volume it's not bad.. I've got collar length hair so I don't need too much..😊this is great ❤️ great job 👌👌👌
Hello! Can you please tell me if you removed the black dye and if so, how did you do it? I have a level 2 dyed hair and I'm trying to go light with the least damage possible. Does the bleach bath work?
I did this 2 days ago and messed up my hair ends. I was planning a trim anyways because I already needed it bad! Thank you for this vid! I used the same method and thought I just messed up somewhere. 😭
You went against what you said. You had said to not apply the bleach at the roots because you'll end up with hot roots. But immediately after each foil you started applying the bleach to the roots and probably with the 40 vol when you only need to use 20 vol since the scalp produces heat.
the difference in the texture is crazy especially at the beggining of the video....when u moved ur black hair it flowed but when u moved ur blonde hair it barely even moved oh my god you hair is so fried im actually worried
@@grizelda3010 olaplex won’t fix that, you’ve blown her cuticles wide open, the only thing that will fix that Is cutting It. You chose the most damaging route to lighten her hair
Who cares. You can't go light without some damage and when it's styled it looks fine. It will gradually look healthier. Just let people have fun with your hair. Don't be the hair police.
It looks nice but I think the first time after the double process was just where it needed to be for the time being or even as is. But the color is still nice for going lighter but I liked it the first time to it was darker and more natural but good job but just needs to be deep conditioned now and re touched every now and then at the roots 💕good job
Would it look okay if I used the ash blonde after bleaching the second time or did the dye after that make u able to use it on her hair idk 😅 would it look patchy or?
I have so much black hair dye in my hair and I’ve been dying my hair black since last June-may and I dye it at least once a month if anyone has any ideas how to go to blonde can y’all help me my natural hair color is like a dirty blonde but more blonde if Yk 🙏🏻
Ladies I'd NVR suggest a 40. I have black hair and a 40 will fry in almost all cases. Start with a 20 and do a protein treatment and wait again. Not worth having your hair fry off. A lady a couple years back fried all my hair off and it wasn't even a 40.
This are my notes of steps on the video, please correct me if I am wrong or missed a step. @grizelda 1st hair treatment: BW2 2 scoops salon care 40 4 scoops mix & apply using brush, board & aluminum into small sections, leave roots uncovered start bottom up, leave in for 30 minutes wash hair & blow dry 2nd hair treatment: use 30 developer do it again, only touching roots & covering the rest with aluminum this time start midway down, then midway up. wait 30 min, then rinse. 3rd application: with damp hair, use 6w & 8a by wella semipermanent colors with a 20 volume developer, start midway down, then midway up. rinse & dry 4th application: use salon care 30 volume developer & lightest ash blonde by ion permanent hair dye ( 2 bottles),mix & start up to bottom, no aluminum needed Mission completed!
NO IT'S NOT... OMYGOSH, guys NO that is NOT how you strip box dye, ugh, you killed your hair.....I get it, you're still babies, but seriously, DO YOUR RESEARCH!! You could save so much pain n grief without hair trauma😔

Giiiiirrrlllll yaaaaaas exactly! I couldn’t have said it better. A one time bleach bath wouldn’t have done 🗣ANYTHING.

Child, lmao I wouldn’t even do this to a wig! Looks great but sheesh
Bleach will damage all hair… oh well

You did a great job her hair looks so good🤩🤩
Thank you! I think it looks good too! Lol didn’t think I was capable 😂
I would consider this a dark or medium blonde
You’re absolutely right!
Lifting twice in one session is crazy but I’m glad it worked out for you. I think I’m just gonna tone the yellow down and then add brown dye.

This turned out so beautiful you did a wonderful job Thankyou for another wonderful video sending you love and light 💛 always
OMG thank you! She really liked it and it looks really good on her too :)
What is her natural color? Mine is naturally dark brown. But I've dyed it black several times and wanna go to a dark blonde/light brown.
I did this 2 days ago and messed up my hair ends. I was planning a trim anyways because I already needed it bad! Thank you for this vid! I used the same method and thought I just messed up somewhere. 😭
With the 20 volume in thanks so much similiar to what I would do basically the same thanks girl

?? She applied the root after? Lol after the first wash, her roots weren’t touched and then the lady applied it to roots
Would never let her do my hair
Ready for the highlights!!
Girl shes backing out 😭
She wants to give her hair a break first lol
Love the hair videos🥰 looks really nice! Greetings from Germany 🇩🇪
Germanyyyy!!!
Thanks for watching! ❤️😘

Yea it was so stringy when wet 😥
Yea thats what happens when you bleach your hair back to back... Nothing Olaplex cant fix LOL!
Noodles! It’s a hot MESS!

I’m going to use the 6w and the 8 a thanks for the video 💕
for final application, can I please have the measurements for the 30 volume developer & the light ash blonde ion permanent hair dye?
For third application, can I please have measurements for 20 volume developer & the 6w& 8a semipermanent hair dye
for her 2nd treatment, when you used the 30 developer, did you also mix it with hair bleach BW2?
In a hairdresser of 16 years. 40 volume In foils & 30 vol on the scalp & THEN 40 vol with tint. Are you crazy? You literally just ruined her hair 😩
i think so too
YOU SAID IT!!!!!!
Fr she couldve used color oops
i agree
Talk about unnecessary 😩
is your hair just layered? i really like the cut and want something similar
This is my sister yes she has it layered she cuts it herself lol
It looks nice but I think the first time after the double process was just where it needed to be for the time being or even as is. Okaaayyyy 👀🤩 It came out beautifully!
Yaaaassss...
8 hours later 😅💀😭
Love that color Im wanting to get rid. Of my black hair back to brown zx
Would it look okay if I used the ash blonde after bleaching the second time or did the dye after that make u able to use it on her hair idk 😅 would it look patchy or?
Did I miss the toning part!? Did I?
Ps- girl, you just FRIED her hai 🙂
Ps- I know 😭
It lifted a lot 💕
this girls hair is made of steel
Did you do the first 30 minutes and then rinse and start over with the 4 scoops of developer n 2 scoops bleach?
Do you reccomend using color remover first too? before bleaching when getting dark box dye out? Thanks!
Ive never used color remover 🤔 so I’m really not sure??
Worth a try though 😃
Yes absolutely use color remover first.
Yes, use color remover first
How long after the 2 bleaching sessions to apply just a lighter color with the 30v developer
How many hours did this take?
Where are u located ?? I need mine done lol
luvv it, u need 2 use a cape tho girl!
I know I need to invest in more stuff! 😆
@@grizelda3010 they have a bunch of super cute & cheap capes on Amazon 💜 and would u b open 2 ASMR?
Trueeee^*
Ummmm idk 😂 ive never thought about that actually?

I see twins!
Lol a lot of people say that!
I dont see it 😭
Aren’t you suppose to use toner after bleaching?
If you want? But she was going for more of a permanent color. Toner tends to wash out after a few weeks.
Hair's already fried omygosh stop!!!
Do a color remover first
Ur not supposed to apply nothing on semi damn hair I feel like u did this so wrong 💔💔💔💔 u shouldn’t apply color in anything wet
Thats blonde
Here’s a tip, look for fast hair growth fortified shampoo to double hair growth.
that's Ugly sorry Not
I see e bit of green on wet hair
I know I do too
NO IT'S NOT... OMYGOSH, guys NO that is NOT how you strip box dye, ugh, you killed your hair.....I get it, you're still babies, but seriously, DO YOUR RESEARCH!! You could save so much pain n grief without hair trauma😔
Yikes
40 vol on the scalp is insane
