Yes, upgrading to the 14pro max in purple. While it still lacks some features compared to S22 Ultra, the iPhone still runs a lot smoother compared to android. Its echo system is the best. Great review as always, Tom!
Idk how more people don’t feel this way. It’s painfully obvious. Inconvenience for the sake of design. Reminds me of another screen apple botched for the sake of design..
I upgrade phones about every 4 years on average and I just upgraded to the iPhone 13 Pro last year so I will probably stick through it for another 3 years or so before getting another phone. New phones every year isn't really that exciting to me personally and honestly, I think it would be better for everyone including the environment if they didn't release a new model every year but instead every few years to give time to develop more of a difference between phones along with some other benefits. But, of course, we live in the age of consumerism so yearly models drive sales which turn into billions of dollars in the bank.
I agree but it will never happen, apple wants to cash flow to pay for its expensive head quarters and all the staff and investors, it will never happen, atleast every 2 year cycles for new releases would improve things significantly for the environment.
My 5T is almost 4 years old, previous phone Redmi Note 4 2016 september, new phone 8T. Thats 6 years only 2 phones, I use both. Some poeple change phones every year lol. Like changing T-shirts.
@@pablolostum once the 13 Pro Max runs out of stock, then naturally if anyone wants a cheaper large iPhone with a massive battery would gravitate to the 14 Plus. Ordered a deep purple 14 Pro yesterday. I ugraded the storage to 256GB. The camera will be nice for taking pictures of my grandkids. I have two more coming next year. But mainly I'm replacing a Galaxy Note 9. I've decided to go to the smaller screen, which will be an adjustment for a bit. I couldn't justify the extra $100 for something with the same performance (other than battery). My main concern is how complicated the conversion from SIM to eSIM will be. But they say it's not that bad. I don't travel internationally all that much anymore, so no worries about accessing other networks. If I need to go to Europe or Asia, I'll get a burner phone for making calls.
@@Shadow-420 The SIM "slot" doesn't exist on the iPhone 14 in North America. Yes, you could program another eSIM address to use an international eSIM but there isn't as much carrier support for eSIM outside of the US and Canada. There are actually six eSIM addresses allowed in the phone but only two can be active at any time. Anyway, that is why it is a problem if you travel a lot.
I’m upgrading from an iPhone 8 that I’ve had for five years, so getting the iPhone 14 Pro 256 GB will be a huge upgrade for me! I was originally wanting to try to get the new phone before my trip to Vietnam in October so I could test out all the new camera/video features, but the more I think about it, I’ll probably just bring my current phone in case it gets lost, stolen, or if I need to change out the physical SIM card
I’m thinking about upgrading my iPhone7 plus that I’ve had it for 4years to the iPhone14 pro max 256gb purple color as well . Now it’ll be a huge upgrade for me too. I’m so excited to hand down on this new iPhone14 pro max very soon. Honestly I initially thought why Apple replaced a physical sim with an esim and fully use an esim in the US. But when I did some researches on my own. Then I found all the advantages of the esim use. It’s a lot more convenient, easier to use than a physical sim. So we don’t need to worry about getting a SIM card damaged and losing it anymore. Hope you enjoy your trip to Vietnam 💪😎
Same I have the 8 plus. Surprisingly the 14 plus is my favorite. The color, size and price are all pros for me. But the camera on the pro max is the only good thing, well other than the size. So I have no clue which phone to get.
I’ve placed an order for the new Pro Max. Coming from the Iphone 8 plus, I have high expectations on this new Iphone. My 8 plus probably has an other year or two of life in it but I still think it’s worth it. The best and most reliable phone I’ve ever had with seemingly infinite battery life. The price for the top end model has gone up significantly since the purchase of my current phone. Im glad I’ll still be able to use nano sim, as my current operator doesn’t support esim. I just hope I can get over the intrusive Island. Almost had me ordering the 13 pro max instead. Greetings from Sweden 🇸🇪 May the Queen rest in Peace 👑
Finally, someone has brought up the realistic issue regarding the island notch. It may be intuitive for notifications and app controls, but the reality that it is huge and intrussive, greatly affects the immersiveness of media consumptions and gaming. The dynamic island is just an excuse from apple for not being innovative enough to replace the larger notch with something like a punch hole face ID or under display Face ID
Apple sells over 100 million a year with the notch, nearer 200 million TBH, and that is with the notch and no functionality outside the camera and 3D face-id. I suspect this new design will boost sales and early signs suggest that Apple may have a chance of avoiding the 20% decline Samsung is experiencing. So, maybe it is just you, as most consumers vote with their wallets and are not as superficial in respect to a functional feature. On video, if you do not zoom in, then it is moot. As for not being innovative, you are implying Samsung is, by just killing all their features for a pinhole front display. For me, form over function for something I use for work is not what I want, and am glad that Huawei and Apple are not just another wannabe Samsung copy and paste front display. If that turns you on, plenty of phones will look pretty.
@@juliuspahang3462 less innovative than Google that tried and failed with Face ID on the Pixel 4 and the long dead Samsung Iris scanner? Both of which had massive top bezels. There’s nothing on Android like Face ID, all they need to do is put a single camera in a punch hole, not a full secure 3D authentication system so yea no shit it’s far easier for them to do that.
Little correction - the actual optical 3x lens' aperture hasn't been upgraded! It's still f2.8. It's the 2x native crop on the main lens which is being quoted with an ~f1.8 aperture. It's a shame, I actually prefer the 2x telephone on the 11 pro with it's nice wide aperture over the dim 3x lens on the 13/14 pros. The lens takes amazing pictures in the light (especially shooting raw in lighroom) and can be coaxed into taking good night mode shots if you have a really steady hand. But my hope would be to see it retained with a brighter aperture for portrait and detail shots, with an aditional 5x/10x periscope zoom for long range zoom (even with the dim apertures that come with that technology)
@@eoz not fully! Image processing can compensate, but better optics will always win out. Especially when you shoot raw! And like for example, something like the computational night mode /can/ compensate for small sensor and dim aperture, but with the 3x tele it results in unreasonably long shutter speeds. Or let’s say you can’t just lengthen the shutter speed because you’re trying to capture a moving subject? Or indeed, shooting video where your exposure is limited by your frame rate?
I’ve ordered a 14 Pro Max in Deep Purple, going for a 512gb over my traditional 256gb choice to account for larger photo file sizes not stored in iCloud. I’m actually quite excited about this, and five people on my floor at work have ordered 14 Pro or Pro Max models so I’m clearly not alone.
@@Clarke2316 Missed the target there I'm afraid, as I was always going to order one. Three of us discovered we'd ordered similar phone later that day in the canteen. But I appreciate your attempt at being relevant.
I totally completely 100% agree with you about the dynamic Island being way more intrusive than a notch and I'm surprised that more people haven't said something about it. That's the first thing I thought when I first saw the phone.
I opted for a 14 Pro with 256 gb, since I have used my current phone for almost 5 years now. The only thing I miss is the usb c port, but given the fact that I rarely transfer data via cable but via airdrop and iCloud instead, I can live with it. Also, I do avoid fast charging to have my phone battery live a little longer (heat isn‘t the best friend of lithium ion batteries).
@Anas CP I mean, there is always gonna be a better update, which would make you wait forever, so before I end up with nothing, I'd rather treat myself with something. Haven't done that in a while xD
@@asimpleguy9667 One should always use their tech until it won't get any major updates anymore. ;-) This way, you are saving both your wallet as well as the environment.
Well I was tempted to buy one of these new models, moving from Android, but after seeing the price hikes, and the lack of 120hz on the 14 model, I'm probably looking at whether a 13 pro is a better choice for cash. Things I'm looking for -> 120hz, wireless charging, good base brightness, good battery life, this points to the 13 Pro.
What about the Nothing Phone 1? It has 120hz, a bright screen and according to gsm arena an even better overall battery life than the iphone 13 pro. Oh and did I mention, that it is only half of the price of the iphone?
I have the 13 Pro Max. The battery is so difficult to kill. And you get ProMotion and all 3 lenses. It’s still an amazing phone. That’s the benefit of the iOS ecosystem the phone will last you 3-4 years. You’ll get all the updates the day they are released.
6:19 it’s not the first time we’ve seen iphones with a different processor from the pros. They did the same thing with the iPhone 5s and 5c. The iPhone 5c was a colorful iPhone 5.
I’ve preordered the iPhone 14 pro max 256gb. I currently use an iPhone 11 Pro Max. I could have waited until next year but I liked the look of the improvements this year. I’m not bothered about the lightning connection as I won’t use it for charging. I think the phone looks good for my needs
I used to be the annual upgrade guy many years ago but now run the phone until it breaks or performance starts to drop. Have just become totally underwhelmed by the new launches. Most innovations are usually in the camera area but if I want to take great pictures or video I will turn to my Canon DSLR.
And that's probably the biggest upgrade from the last year's models. I'm so unsure of which one to get, especially because this will be my first ever iPhone
So let me get this straight. Essentially they made the notch BIGGER and moved it closer to the center of the screen? That’s what they did right? You don’t notice what they did? With all the hype of this dynamic island which is essentially a 2 app limited widget around the giant notch.
I was wondering if they would just fill in the pixels around the camera lens for videos, but essentially they've just moved the notch from the top bezel to 5mm further down. All that wasted space above cut out is annoying too.
They hype is because many people will enjoy it lol. if they took a vote to keep the old notch or this one most people would vote for the island and haven’t even tried it hands on yet.
I agree. The placement of the dynamic island might make it more annoying than the regular notch with its placement and the wasted space above. Hope they can improve that on next year‘s models. And the prices need to go down in Europe, otherwise I‘m not gonna go with a Pro model anyways, but with a 15 Plus which should get most of the benefits of the 14 Pro hopefully.
They should of either made the dynamic island pill much smaller than it currently is, or just not made the pill ui in the first place and just placed the 2 puncholes in the middle without a black bar connecting both of them together.
Very informative video with all the possible reasons not to upgrade broken down into bite size pieces. Then the ultimate decision can rest with the consumer. Nobody does it like The Tech Chap 👍🙏
1:55 i don’t really get this question mate, you were there. With phone in your hand you could’ve test it here and there if smudges make any impact on a picture.
As good as the features for the dynamic island look, I think it's ridiculous that Apple moved many things to the top of the screen. While every other company is moving everything down to be accessible by one hand, Apple moves things up - Especially stupid on a 6.7" phone. On the Plus/Max phones, the Island will be useless when you use the phone with one hand.
I always use two hands, and all my family do. Did not even know this was important as a £1200 device in one hand is an inherent risk and no thank you. If the iPhone is not for you because of that then get something else, for most of us it is fine (Apple does their research).
@@andyH_England they literally updated the notification screen to be more accessible from the bottom on iOS 14. But now suddenly they need a justification for their innovative new “dynamic island” so they try to make a feature out of it. Seems very counter intuitive.
If there's one thing all you iSheep have in common it's literally always complaining about the phone that Apple comes out with... They literally turned the notch into something relevant for users... They innovated and made a feature to fix a problem... You still complain 🤷 Go back to a flip phone 🤡
@@ComfyPyjamas Most people will enjoy it and adapt to it. I will not pass judgement until I use it. You may be right, that one handed use is a pain, but I use two hands (always) so no issue for me. But, the negativity when we have not seen it in action is a bit meh.
I already placed my order for the 14 Pro Max ONLY BECAUSE I currently have the XS Max and it's basically on its last leg - terrible battery life, the software is moving slower, etc. I'm a filmmaker, so I'm excited to have a new camera in my pocket. IF I had the 13 Pro, I would definitely not have upgraded. Thanks for the info!
Man, the pill shape cutout on the screen is such an eyesore. Also applies to the notch: imagine turning on your phone and seeing that big black shape taking up your screen real estate. Why anyone thought it was a good idea is beyond me.
what is the obsession with the notch, pill . . .. punch holes? Keep the space above blank and put the camera there and for symmetry make the bottom blank too . .. just like Sony does, looks absolutely fine and solves so many problems
I pre-ordered the 14 pro 256GB. I moved to Android (S22) after my iPhone 11 and regretted it heaps and I have a big feeling going to newest iphone model I won't have any issues.
Gonna keep my 13 pro max. Although the dynamic island seems pretty cool, i think it's not that good to go for an update..12 and 13 models users can skip this updation in my opinion.just update with ios 16 and feel the freshness..

I’m using since 2017 iPhone 7 Plus still 80 percent battery life. If I go to buy new phone of course iPhone 13 pro max. Or HUAWEI mate 50 pro only. I don’t need new released any of apple products anymore especially 14 line up. Good job 👍
I think I am going to sign up for the upgrade program Apple offers instead of buying it outright, and keep my current XR as a backup. You made a good point about the potential for it to get outdated really quick.
This is the most honest review I have ever seen. Currently using my iPhone 13 Pro Max and will probably wait for the 15. This year's new iP14PM shows minimal improvement. I'm hoping for a new camera cut-out and design in the near future 🤗
the dynamic island spoils the whole concept of an uninterrupted clean looking display as it frequently expands/extends in size for different functions. it's also very distracting. rather the i shaped cut out would have looked way better, clean & unique
The "dynamic island" is so big and looks so annoying. Simple hole punch looks so much better. And reaching at the top for controls is not very smart. But for some reason people are losing their minds for big, annoying cutout and som animations 🤯
Apple is not stupid, having the same display as a Samsung phone would be a terrible business decision. They have to differentiate and that is why Apple never worries about the notch or pill. Looking at sales rising every year compared with the Galaxy S line declining 50% in 2.5 years, it appears that the people that matter, consumers, not a random YT commentator, think Apple is doing fine! It markets Apple devices; we know an iPhone straight away, but a $100 Samsung looks the same as a $1000 Samsung and that is a real problem for Samsung.
@@MrRandomguyTom Apple is trying something different and I give them credit for that. Only time will tell if it is a win, but to knock it before we have collectively tried it...is a bit harsh!
They can't use a hole punch, the face id takes a lot of real estate, it looks cool but people will realise sooner or later that it isn't practical at all
I have got het iPhone 11 and I have just ordered the iPhone 13. I would love the iPhone 14 plus but I think 1200 euro is allot of money for a phone. I can get the normal iPhone 13 for 850 euro's. when I trade in my iPhone 11 I only have to pay 650 for my phone. So im pretty happy with that. Tomorrow I can I can pick it up. Really looking forward with playing with my new phone. I think the e-sim thing is great. Everybody was hating on apple when they cut the earphone port. And now almost every phone is with out it. I think when Apple changes something the providers will change with it very fast because apple has such a great impact in the phone industry. With in 12 months the world of providers will all go for e-sim.
I have the iPhone 13 and I am completely satisfied with it and plan on keeping for 3 or so more years, although iOS does have its quirks its fine, even the 14 pro seems not that big of a upgrade to me, I use a 240hz monitor so do miss the high refresh rate but iOS animations make up for it. These apple events are very appealing to get a lot of impulse purchases and they hype and make everything so irresistible to the consumer. The real surprise is the apple marketing team which is equally genius like the engineering team, year after year they find something to make it so like the new phone is a really big deal.
Ordered the 14 pro max. I will then make my own comparison for photos between this phone, my s21 ultra and my slr to see just how good the camera is. The island seems like a good implementation given that I don't use phones much for content consumption. Will find out on Friday
One of the worst Apple software designs to date. For that price it should at least pause/play video. The dynamic notch brings nothing but annoyance. We want it as small as possible not jumping over the f*ckng screen with every app opening. Definitely not for me.
I think face id is good enough, and the current lightning to USB-C works great for me and also gives pretty fast charging. But im looking forward to see if the 15 will get that longer optical zoom, that might make we buy the 15 also even though I just bought the 14 pro max. But we will see next year.
Going to hold off till next year until the notch is removed, usb c is added, with faster charging speeds. I have an 13 mini - I love the small form factor. Hope this helps. It’s the same reason why I haven’t upgraded from the M1 MacBook Air (it does everything I need). The upgrades are incremental at best and not worth what Apple is charging.
Kind of a bummer no update really on the iPhone 13 I thought the 14 might get a 90 Hz refresh rate at least . And I have to say here in the states getting only eSIM phones is a pain in the butt when you travel or even when you change phones it’s just more control I find it a pain I won’t be buying a new iPhone.
It's out-of-touch to think Apple will introduce a 90hz refresh rate AFTER their Pro Motion 120hz display. Makes no sense at all. I suggest taking some time to figure out a recent invention called "punctuation." It's pretty spiffy. It lets the reader know where to pause in big chunks of text.
@@MazDanRX795 You must be the life of the party …sorry I was typing this on a small phone I didn’t know that the grammar police we’re going to be reading.
Depriving users of a physical SIM slot, lack of USB-C & fingerprint ID & other less serious deficiencies caused me to get my 1st Samsung (Galaxy S22 Ultra)!
I hope the sales on the iPhone 14 series are low. I mean if eSim only is so great then every region should have eSim only, not just the US right? I mean do we really want another Snapdragon Vs Exynos situation? Also I understand why Apple wants to distinguish Pro Models from their non-pro models but the 14 generation really feels like a division between 1st and 2nd class citizens...especially since iPhones are such status symbols to people; Apple is really pushing the upsell to the Pro Models since there's not much difference between the base 13 and 14 generations...if you're upgrading you may as well upgrade to a pro phone; it really is a shame Apple couldn't at least do 90hz on the base 14s. Assuming Apple pulls their head out of where the sun don't shine, and not by choice but by legal compliance, then next year's iPhones will have USB C which is in and of itself a massive upgrade from lightning, and would most certainly call for an upgrade...but hey maybe Apple is counting on that and milking this year's sales before being forced to move over to USB C.
🤣 come on, Apple has always been that way, either you can afford, or you can’t. It is a good strategy to increase benefit. People who are crying for 14, will get 13 Pro ou 14 Pro or they will not change their phone but buy a Macbook Air M2 instead. Most people don’t know about 120Hz. Apple is not for geek. Apple is for regular people who think they can afford 😅. 13 Pro will be a hit for his 2nd year, same for 13. 14 Pro/Max with Always On Display and new front design will be a hit too. Apple can do whatever they want, people gave them power.😉
The one thing that disappoints me with Apple is that they could have used the older 120Hz panel for the regular lineup as you mentioned you can get other phones on the Android side that cost half the price and still get 120Hz screens. I myself won’t be upgrading to the 14 pro models because I want to wait for USB-C
They won’t. It’s a feature that enough people care about that would steal sales from the Pro line and let’s be real here, they know what they’re worth - they’re the only ones making iOS. Unlike Android flagships, they aren’t scared of being overthrown by a competitor running the same OS or offering a cheaper device.
@@User-cb4jm yeah and that's a disgusting business practice, but I'm not sure what you're talking about tho, Samsung has total global android dominance, only competition they get is in China (Xiaomi, Huawei) and US (Apple), they literally don't have any other competition, although Xiaomi dominates the budget market in Asia, I can't say the same for other countries
@@Hhhh22222-w I don’t know what’s so disgusting about it, really. Nobody forces us to buy a specific phone, we completely choose how to spend our money. Apple invests in running their own OS, that many people enjoy using and the services related to it. That is their competitive edge and they know that’s what sets their phone apart from others. And basic market research probably told them that losing iOS and the services that come with it aren’t enough to sway the average person who would get the non Pro device who probably won’t know or care that much about 120hz. Within Android while you are right Samsung is dominant, it’s still fragmented by Xiaomi and BBK (OnePlus, Oppo, Realme). These features tend to trickle down faster as there is a huge user base in populous countries like India and China (or throughout lower income regions of Southeast, South and Central Asia, Latin America and Eastern Europe, where budget phones are common over flagships). So in this market, competition is more fierce and Samsung would put 120hz on cheaper devices to not lose sales to Realme/Oppo/Xiaomi as then it’s just a spec race for a low price.

My average usage for a phone is about 4-5 years, previously i had the iPhone 5S and both phones were fantastic for me. There are many things Apple can (and eventually will) improve for the iPhones, like the USB-C port, a few software tweaks for native apps like the Camera and better organization for Widgets. Finally the always on display came into play with the Pro models. I do like Apple products, although expensive, they simply work and they do it consistently.
If you arent sold on the AOD or dynamic island, you could likely save a lot of money by just getting the iPhone 13 instead. Since it is the same chip, you arent really future proofing yourself much. (unless you go pro models, then the main benefit is the slightly better processor)

Good review, it’s crazy how their improvement is very slow yet prices increase so fast every year
the minor software aprovments are cool but not worth $1000 every year
It's because many of us really worship this device and make it a trend as if we can't live without it
Ordered a deep purple 14 Pro yesterday.
Burner phone😂. Breaking bad Elgon??
Can't you put international sim in other esim slot?

I’m still debating which one to get.. I’m still using my 6s… it’s been 6.5 years 😂
Same I have the 8 plus. Surprisingly the 14 plus is my favorite. The color, size and price are all pros for me. But the camera on the pro max is the only good thing, well other than the size. So I have no clue which phone to get.

It just only means that iphone users are too simple and just able to swallow whatever Apple has to give. That is too limiting for me.
The line “apple not being innovative enough” already told me you’re an android user lmao 😂
@@Chimefierce Android phone user with an iOS tablet to be fair
Thanks for letting me know!
@@Thetechchap keep up the great content mate!
Image processing gives a bigger impact in this case.

I opted for a 14 Pro with 256 gb, since I have used my current phone for almost 5 years now.
120hz is only on the pro models. I'll be getting the pro max so no difference from my s22 ultra
The regular iphone 14s should of came with at least 90hz displays. And the 14 pros can stay at 120hz. But 60hz in 2022 is so out dated at this point

I think the e-sim thing is great. Everybody was hating on apple when they cut the earphone port. And now almost every phone is with out it. I think when Apple changes something the providers will change with it very fast because apple has such a great impact in the phone industry. With in 12 months the world of providers will all go for e-sim.
If the 14 had usb-c it would have been a buy for me, but without, maybe next year, nothing wrong with my 12 proMax anyways. 🤷♂️

That's their way of copying Samsung Plus and Ultra versions.

I think Apple will continue to disappoint

Love from India 🇮🇳
Ordered the 14 Pro yesterday. The price hike for the UK was a tough pill to swallow, but the battery on my 12 Pro is so poor I felt I needed to upgrade.
That is so sad ,2 years and its over..
You can always get a new battery if you dont feel like paying so much for a new phone. Just make sure it's an original battery from apple, it's better. The 12 pro is still a really good phone.
Idk how your battery can be that bad on the 12 pro same exact phone and I’ll get 6 hrs to 7 or 8 hrs of on screen time before it needs charged and it’s 2 years old.
@@ty8473 I feel it really depends what kind of apps you use, or if you use the camera a lot. apps like IG really drains a lot on the battery for me, and if you use apple maps or google maps, those are also apps that drains a lot on the battery.
@@artfartzy I have 45 plus apps on my phone using heavy apps as well.. the only thing that drained my battery was iOS 16 beta.. I went back to 15 and battery is clearly better not nearly as bad as to say let’s change the phone just because of the battery. It lasts over 10 hour work days and many hours more and I’m 24 years old I use most apps people my age do.
Currently I am using OnePlus 5t for four years. I want to change to apple. I would like to buy 13 pro Max. Should I buy it or you want me to go for 14 or 14 pro straight away. please suggest.
For once Canada is at an advantage : same price as last year, we get satellite functionality and a physical sim card.
Go Canada 👌🏼
Pre-ordered the purple pro max- I’ve tried the Fold 4 and I’m sorry but I miss my iPhone- so selling that on.
I’m not excited because the pro is gonna be even heavier. I think they should find a way to make it lighter.
I have ordered the 14 pro spaceblack 256gb version! I am so excited! Upgrading from an iPhone X and after the second battery is now also down it’s time for a new iPhone!
Well i do believe for me its time for an upgrade, i use the iPhone X (2017) and my idea is to jump to the 14 Pro Max.
@@BeansEnjoyer911 as i said in my OP, i plan to jump to the Pro Max version. I dont want to go for the "normal" previous and i dont plan to future proof either, my average usage for a phone is 4-5 years. Future proofing is something that doesnt happen this day and age with the constant tech improvements.
The gap between the pro and boggo models now is huge! 60hz and last year's chip plus no dynamic island bollocks.
Indeed!
One person who said the truth about dynamic island 👍🏻👍🏻
I'm really on the wall.... Not sure if it's that much of an improvement over the 13 pro max which I have currently. Are the following worth an upgrade to 14 pro max?
1. Dynamic island
2. AOD
3. 48 MP rear cam
Can the dynamic island be implemented in 13 pro max as a software update ?
5:14 Well I'm from India,
You know that black T-shirt with white strap is 'Technical Guruji', the biggest tech RUclipsr in the world. He's from India.
But I see both, your and his videos.😄
Pre-ordered the 14 pro max purple yesterday, can't wait to pick it up on 9/16.
As alwaysty, i love your objectivity and straightforward feedback. Way too expensive and still lightning. I wanted to try iphone again after having fully switched to android after iPhone 5S but i will hold on for another year
thank you for the new perspective 👍
I really appreciate the last point in which you discourage the pre-orders of the phone and rather waiting and researching properly. We are too often caught in the hype culture and it should be always reminded that it is people like you should be on the frontline of testing products since it is what you do for a living rather than letting the end users become screwed over.
I get a new iPhone on the launch day no matter what :)
My reason : I’m on this earth less than 100 years, why not enjoy when/if I can. Never worry too much if I can afford one. Just enjoy “ the ride”. We work hard for what ? For “ our highlight of the year “ when u hold that new iPhone in ur hand. Who’s with me ????
5:12 technical guruji 😍🥳
Still no usb type c? 😅😅😅 Data transfer super slow
Good vid. I can say that for the 1st time in a while I’m in no hurry to upgrade for something my androids have had for some time & the all great Dynamic Island
Love your videos...keep it up man!
I was a bit apprehensive because of Australian pricing but went ahead and bit the bullet. iPhone Pro Max 256 Gig $2099.00, Apple leather case $89.00, for a total of $2188.00. Also it doesn't arrive for another 5 to 6 weeks. Damn.
The iPhone 14 Pro is the first IPhone I'm actually considering to buy
the notch/dynamic island is just an excuse to double up on cost of materials. Those few mm of glass/screen that they don’t have to pay for actually make them more money than you think when they charge consumers for it
I use the Galaxy S10 plus, and when before buying it, I was worried about the pill shaped cutout and that it would make watching videos hard and weird. But after a couple of days, I got used to it, however, that is off to the right, while the 'dynamic tropical island' 😅 is smack in the middle. I think people will get used to it though...
and then empty space above it makes it so annoying to look at😫 whose idea was this? I just wanna talk..
Ordered a 14 Pro 512Gb. Upgrading from a 6s I’ve had for 7yrs, and preordered so I can make use of the camera on an upcoming holiday.
