This is one of the best piratecore playlist I've heard this far. All the songs are beautiful and very suggestive and somehow they (with the beautiful images and the sea sound) feed my undying wish for a life at sea. Thank you so much for sharing, it's so beautiful to listen to this.

I'm absolutely obsessed with this subdued intensity you manage to craft through many of your playlists - but this one especially! Many pirate playlists are really loud and sharp sounding, but this is just ✨ART✨ It's melancholy as is the lonely life on the sea, but it's passionate as is the life of a pirate, and it ebbs and flows like the tides themselves. Bravo!!! 👏 🏴☠️

@@nympheosbert i can't link you with anything because i'm french so i write in french (and i haven't even started writing it yet, i am plotting the story for now!) buuut it's about an ancient noblewoman who was captured by pirates before her engagement was announced, engagement that she never wanted. she decides to stay on the pirate ship and learn how to navigate the seas. her childhood bestfriend (and lover) turns bitter because he loved her more than anything and becomes a sort of marine officier to hunt down every single pirate. except now, she is also a pirate ! despite everything they still love each other, but he doesn't know her identity :)

@@nympheosbert I started writing it this week and i translate an excerpt of it (it may not be perfect bc i used deepL traduction)
"The urge to retort tickled the tip of Rosin-Requin's tongue, but he did nothing. The last of the idiots could have exterminated these pirates without batting an eyelid, he wasn't special. It wasn't for these pathetic looters that he had joined the Royal Navy. The young man blinked as his heart grew heavier and he could make out his shadow. His personal ghost, haunting him day and night. She was running along the beach, at the point where the waves crash on the pebbles, speeding along despite the heaviness of her petticoats. The jewels pinned to her vanilla braids caught the sun's rays and made her look like a model in a painting. His laughter echoed in his eardrums when Océan-Orque put his hand on his shoulder, jolting him out of his reverie."
PS : Rosin-Requin is his name but Requin in french means "shark" and same for Océan-Orque, Orque means "Orca" ! basically noblemen and noblewomen have a compound name with a regular name and the name of a marine animal which have the same first letter of the first letter of the regular name ^^
