Wow, a great build with metal, still not too heavy, everything detachable, big drivers, very decent mic, great battery and all the connections (2.4Ghz, BT and USB-C) This is definitely the #1 on my whish list now... And as always, the best kinds of reviews from your part! keep it up man! 👏🏾
This is what all gaming headset companies should do. not cheap out on the headset mic's. this sounds really good, reminds me of the blackshark mic only with less eq settings etc.
Question. Can you use the 2.4 ghz dongle and the Aux cable at the same time. So ideally you can use the 2.4ghz dongle with the Virtual surround sound AND the aux for things like discord?
Pro tip for microphone placement, do a "puh puh" breath blow with two fingers in front of your mouth, rotate it around until you don't feel the air blowing on your fingers. Usually this is around 45 degrees. $230 seems like way too much for me. I try to stay under about $125. But I guess if it's all 'pro features' then sure, but it'd be too pricy for me. Note; your time stamps aren't stamped. Also, I don't think you mentioned what kind of drivers, or size of drivers, they are using. 40mm? 50mm? Neodymium?
So would you choose these over your beloved steel series nova pros? I’ve also considered the Corsair virtuoso max but it’s still needing some features and the mic isn’t as good as the former virtuoso xt wireless. I mean the build is bang on but they need improvements for 330 bucks and still not using a usb c dongle is a big miss. Also is there a difference in voice quality when using the wind protector on the mic? Please do those in your future mic tests as that can change the sound.
Just got these for use with Xbox and I’m returning them immediately. No review or page specifies that the ONLY way these headsets work is by the 3.5mm cable….which renders literally every function of the headset null and void. I had to scour the ASUS website to find the asterisk for Xbox
Hey Techne. I know one of your biggest gripes with the Maxwell was the suspension strap and weight, making them slide off your head when leaning back and whatnot. There is a dude on Etsy selling a 3d printed “comfort strap” that is a complete game changer. It follows the Hifiman principle of getting wider as it wraps around your noggin. Definitely worth checking out. Especially since you are the Guru of the Stinkin Cozy world! Nice review on the Asus also. Just wish it had dedicated chat mix 🫤😊

Please help me, I'm looking for a headset for my PS5. I can't connect a DAC/AMP. I'm considering the MMX330 PRO (connected to the controller), A50 gen 5, and Asus Delta 2. I mainly play single-player and non-competitive games. Simultaneous Bluetooth would be a nice addition. Because I have a large head, I need headphones built like a tank. I've broken 8 headsets in the last 3 years.
Bought the headset today, i will prob use it wired with the 3.5 so i dont have to charge it all the time. I heard the Bluetooth doesn’t work with xbox series x tho? Even tho it has the dongle adapter for the usb A
This headset looks to be everything I want in a headset. It’s very rare now in days I see a headset that’s wireless that has a 3.5mm input as well. Plus I love the option of being able to turn off the RGB. I do have one question though that pertains to the headphone jack. Do you know whether or not the headset needs to be charged to be used wired because some headset are tricky like that. Even though the headset has a wired option sometimes they still need a full battery to work which I think is crap.
JBL 910 has everything. Literally everything. Sound is not better than maxwell but it is decent enough. Microphone is above average not the best. The only downside it seems is it has 16bit not 24 bit. But if you are not music maker you dont seem to need one of that.

Logitech G933 still is the best wireless headset. Stereo is great if you use a GoXLR or something that will boost audio but i still prefer DTS with First Person Shooter mode and Wide sound stage still cant be beating so far. and this is coming from a person who mains PUBG on PC with 12k hours. Thank you for your video! :) I bought this headset today because it seems to offer a really good overall package in the wireless device sector. It also sounds pretty good, so I'm going with that. However, I have a tiny problem with the BassBoost. Yes, it brings more volume and deeper bass - even at level 0 actually - but when I activate this, all sounds have a VERY slight ‘undertone’. Difficult to describe - as if there is a slight ‘wind’ behind the notes. I would be interested to know if anyone else can also perceive this - and whether this is normal with BassBoost here?

So it has Steelseries problematic design so it's bound to break, the volume wheel is in the wrong place and your chair is bound to mess with it.
Way to overpriced for what it offers. Steelseries nova 5x are way better considering both price and quality
Bought it today at Microcenter Tustin. I have a new X670E Asus Crosshair and 7800X3D, latest bios update. < a year old Strix 4090, Azoth keyboard, Sparta mouse. Full clean install win 11 with latest updates and clean install of Armory Crate. Rebooted after AC did update for dongle and headset and my computer would not post. Had to clear CMOS, got back into windows, used the head set for an hour, restarted the computer, and had to clear the CMOS again because no post. Got back into windows removed the dongle restarted and no post issues. My 1 hour experience with it: VOLUME limited, slides off your head, but comfortable. Not worth 229, 200, 170 or what ever you said. its worth a return
the mic is super muffled and just doesnt compete with brands like Corsair, Logitech etc
Its okay not as good as a Alienware though.
which one?
@@sugs0377 I think he meant alien ware, not the company Alienware because they only make bulls*** but I’m sure aliens could definitely make better headsets than humans

Never believe anyone on here that's paid to say a product is good
Wish it was controlled via a phone app instead of Armory Crap.
Audio advice. ALWAYS keep the EQ FLAT. ALWAYS!
why ?
Nah hyperx is the best
the floating headband wears out and then you gotta buy the wicked cushion silicone one. floating head bands are not really reccomended for longevity. this headset is built to last, ive been following it for a while, only complaint is in the software, the eq has to be set to custom or racing i believe, then you can adjust it. gadgetry tech has a video about it.
