the so called dragon beard candy is not sugar base.. that white powder is corn flour.. the skilled is to make it look like you are eating dragon hair.. hence the name..
We were lucky to have a hotel within waking distance but we still had to pay for parking tho. I feel like parking could be tricky, especially on holidays such as Malaysia Day! Thank you for watching! 😁
I haven't fully explored jonker Street yet even though my mom is from Merlimau a district in the Melaka state about 1/2 an hour to the south of Melaka city and I always went back there several times a year. Been to Jonker Walk but only touch the surface as everytime I went there it rains, and not just drizzling it absolutely pours..... And as a suggestion, if you are still in Melaka, you should continue to Muar, try satay, Mee bandung for breakfast and other things too.... You can also have a stop over at the small town of Merlimau, and go admire the antique House of Penghulu Natar..
The night street view in this video captivates my attention and gets me excited. That's really awesome.😀👍👍
Jonker came ALIVE! it was AWESOME
@@wattstraveling Yaeh! Have a great day.🙏🙌🙌🙏
Yeah, that's how you eat dragon beard candy. Consume it whole haha. It goes so well with chinese tea. :)
Ooooh, that would be good!

If we go back to Melaka we will have to try some things out! Thank you so much for the recommendations 😊
Try the cherry tomatoes dipped in crystallised sugar instead of the grapes
Oh, that sounds yummy!
Harap awak suka malaysia
Thank you Zurina, we are loving it! ❤️
Don't forget to try the famous Asam Pedas Stingray and Nyonya Laksa before you leave melaka 😀
Asam Pedas Stingray, yikes! Don't hate me, but I don't like seafood 😪
Thank you for watching!
@@wattstraveling Well, if you don't like fish or seafood, you can ask for the Asam Pedas Daging tetel ( beef)
@@muhammadabdulwahab123 ooh, I can do that! 👍
Dont mis to taste the famous CHENDOL Kampong Hulu drink along the waterfront.
We had Cendol (take away) on Malaysia day in Melaka! It was interesting
