I don't why I felt emotional while watching this video. Especially on the Komoda beach. Ghost of Tsushima is one of my favorite games. Tsushima is on my bucket list!
Don't expect it to look like the game though. Like you see in this video the environments look different from the game. They wanted all those stereotypical japanese environments from the mainland in the game while the actual island is primarly dense forests.
My Girlfriend and I met while playin Ghost of Tsushima. Tsushima was our every end of the day meeting point for 5 months. It’s our dream to visit this island in person. Thank you for a glimpse into this beautiful place.
I'm in Shanghai and it is the Day 20 of a brutal lockdown here. Playing The Ghost of Tsushima every night after my kids went sleeping was the only escape from an anxiety to the future. It was my first PS5 game and got me overwhelmed. I found calm and peace from the beautiful sceneries of Tsushima. Your video was really a surprising treat. I wish I get a chance to visit this peaceful island some day in future. Thank you for all your wonderful efforts putting this together. It simply transports me there. Stay well.
I’m an architect and I must say that your videos are very helpful to understand Japanese urbanism, architecture and culture. Keep it up! Greetings from Mexico!
Thank you for posting this, I lived there from 1996 - 98 and it was as beautiful then as it still looks now. Every so often I look for clips of peoples visits to Tsushima so I can reminisce. I hope to return there again some day with my son.
I love the quote at the end "It was like a lie..." Sometimes it feels that way when you travel you start your day somewhere amazing then all of a sudden youre back to civilization before your bedtime.
I’ve already been a huge fan of your “silent” adventures around Japan but when the song soul changing came on I swear I lost it. Your videos give me so much peace yet excitement, adventures sights and sounds i hope to one day experience myself.
Absolutely beautiful video, thank you for letting us get a slight idea of what it was like to experience such a place. I've never been to Japan (yet) but some of the areas you have shown invokes a sense of familiarity. Childhood experiences of visiting relatives by the coast, carefree days blending into pastel coloured evenings with nothing but the sound of the birds dancing with the breaking waves. Thank you.

Love the style you present. The scenes, the light, the tempo, music and so on…. Miss Japan so much, your video reminds me all the trip I had in the past years. Keep traveling for us in your beautiful land. ありがとうございます
i really love how you relish every joy in the smallest of things - it gives me reason to believe that life truly is wonderful, coming from a busy city myself… it doesn’t always feel like it. Sometimes you just need to slow down, and eat sushi alone far away from home 😊
Ghost of Tsushima effects: When I saw the shrines, I thought, “hey, there must be a way to get a hidden charm”. Then I saw the banners and thought, “cool, more sashimono banners to collect!” And when he showed the jungle, I instinctively pressed an imaginary R2 button to collect Yew Wood.
I have not played GoT because I do not have ps4 or 5. But i have enjoyed seeing other people play it and I would watch it like it was movie. This video made me feel at peace for some strange reason. The island is beautiful, the shrines are everywhere as if they are trying to tell you a story about the island. This place is stunning. I wish i had the funds to travel there
It’s a lot of fun, I hope you get a console and the game. I payed a lot for my director’s cut copy and normally I don’t like paying too much for video games but this was worth every cent.
@@GreatOldOne9866lol, i just got the director’s cut version for like $24 for my ps4 n playing it now… I got my copy from the online though, there’s some deal going on n i got it.
You recently became my Saturday/Sunday morning breakfast program ^^ I wanted to do a sabbatical in Japan this year but bc of the Rona it didn't work out. Usually Japan related content shows either the crazy side of Japan, the earnest working one or the very traditional. When I watch that kind of content I sometimes forget why I like this shimaguni so much. Your content on the other hand captures exactly, spot on why I fell in love with this country. Even the music feels like I would have picked it... Thank you very much for creating these viedos. They mean a lot to me.
Thank you for sharing your experience on this island.. I'm retired on Okinawa and plan on visiting the many islands around Okinawa in November for 1 month. Some of the islands have airline service, many only have ferry service. I plan on adding these island to my visit list for maybe 2022.
Absolutely breathtaking. I've watched a few of your videos now and I love your style. Makes me miss Japan soo much - なつかしい! Like someone already mentioned; image stabilization does wonders (I've already seen it in some of your newer videos, so I bet you already know). And also that panning shots can look even better if they are slower - especially if you're recording in 30 fps and not 60 :) otherwise it can be a bit stuttery/blurry. I tend to make this mistake a lot myself, where I'll pan the camera too fast only to discover it later when looking at the results - maybe it's a bit of personal preference here too... Can't wait to binge the rest of all your uploads ^^ and looking forward to your future videos!
Hey! I just discovered your channel and I wanted to say, that it's absolutely great. I really enjoy your style and I'd like to see how your videos' quality and content progress in the future. On that note, I noticed that white subtitles sometimes are difficult to read on a bright background, so maybe dimming the background area behind them a little would do the trick. Also (perhaps you fixed this already since this video) some better image stabilization would be great. Other than that, everything is spot on!
I got your channel on the recommendations and thought that this would ease up my traveling fever. It didn't. With your high quality videos and good work I am now craving even more to travel to Japan :D ありがとうございます and お疲れ様です
This video saved me in 2021 since then I've watched this one video more than a hundred times now, your videos got me through my though Times, I almost give up on my life but watching your videos gave me some peace, I always wanted to thank you for making these wonderful videos, the music you handpicked also became a part of my journey too 🤍 thank you for sharing your art with us. Your creation inspired me to live on, I'm not exaggerating anything it did help me. Hope you are doing well
Oh my gosh! I just ran across your channel looking up solo things to do when I am able to go back Japan. Your videos are so beautiful and peaceful. I was feeling really sad today because I should be in Japan now for 2 weeks until Jan 6th but alas still at home. I can't wait to get back for another solo trip and your channel helps. Again awesome channel and I definitely subscribed.
great video man! thank you for sharing how Tsushima looks like. Like others im playing the game right now and got very curious about this beautiful place
did you find any mongol artifacts there?

Ghost of Tsushima does the exact same thing for me. I'm glad this game has brought so many of us peace amidst chaos.
Same with me, when i'm in this period of stressful, GoT gave me something to overcome with
