Oh yeah, fiction, lets take any mythical creature and fairy tale character and try and use as many as possible as much as possible and try and not have any of them just exist and make them do something. Armies of gorgons, strong princesses who don't need a handsome prince, and a craven of witches.

Considering we see Mrs Flood at the cinema (looks like 1950s or 1960s era), it makes me think she can make stories come to life. If she is the god of stories, then this could be part of her skill set. After reading the script for space babies, it led me to think she’s a god of stories / fairytales, so bringing fiction to life makes sense to me. Especially with that little bit about Star Trek.

There's a ring of lights you can see through the door when Ncuti is holding on and trying not to fall through- which *might* be what can just be seen at the bottom of the screen in the last shot of him spinning in some kind of high-tech space - looks a bit like a circular 'accelerator' style machine. Re the brief shot of Verada with the orange light - it doesn't look anything like regeneration- that's several copies of her face faintly visible infront of hers- not regeneration energy at all- some other effect perhaps indicating time 'distortion'/ repetition etc.
Opening scene with the orange sky puts me in mind of Gallifrey. Defiantly an older theater maybe from the 1900-1920 there does appear to be some art-deco features that also showing movies.
A couple of things. They have said they willl continue the story of the gods storyline we saw in season 1. Also they said we will see a weapon from Christopher Ecclestons era return. I think it will be STATION 5

So much for Millie having been "fired" supposedly. It seems like she's not the main companion anymore but she is still around working at U.N.I.T. so her role has been reduced but she wasn't fired as a lot of sites have been reporting. Of course they're same unreliable sites who have been saying the shows getting cancelled due to low ratings literally every year since Jodie Whitaker was first announced to play the Doctor and they're continuing that same nonsense in the Ncuti Gatwa run.
I'm really REALLY still on the trickster copium... Like the whole thing with them mentioning the trickster theme in maestro and all of those reality breaks, and yet the whole still connecting to the pantheon in Doctor who... I just think it would feel really really well. Especially with the first scene in the trailer. At first it reminded me of some sort of super short time loop/time distortion similar to how they did it in some classic episodes, but I think it's some way of reality being out of tune or purpousfully meddled with. Maybe I am pulling at air here (probably am), but just seeing mrs flood again with the rest of it all gives me some vibes.

I have a theory that the doctor might become aware he’s in a show and there’s a lot to sorta lead me that way, for example the tardis’ online in the Christmas special and the way he didn’t know why he was getting ready and grabbing the sonic for an adventure, the forth wall breaks, the possibility of mrs flood being the god of stories. But most of all in the teaser the shot of the doctor with his hand out and it’s all shaky, imagine it’s a scene that starts as a fourth wall break and then the doctor stops and starts asking why he’s doing it and tries to reach out through the screen like the cartoon does. Plus he could start to wonder why there’s all these dangers amd adventures trying to get her home as if someone is writing the story controlling the universe he’s in. Mrs flood maybe. Just a ramble theory but I feel there’s something there 😅

yeah i find the name choice there suspicious too, out of all names, they chose a name of an actress who's the big new mystery..... seems to odd to be a coinky dink.
I swear it they try to give an in-universe reason for the fourth wall breaks by saying it's because the Doctor is stuck inside a TV Show, I might stop watching Doctor Who. That would be a jump the shark moment for me. You don't need to explain fourth wall breaks, it's just a stylistic choice of filmmaking.
This "Doctor" can't make up his mind.... constantly changing his clothes.....an emotional wreck... I've not bothered to watch the Christmas special, not after the last season's offerings... don't even get me started on the abysmal editing of The War Games. The colourisation is absolutely stunning. But the editing was terrible - too many inconsistencies and gaping plot holes. It's okay if one hasn't seen the original version, but for the rest of us it was just another excuse for RTD to stick his unsupervised beak in to tamper with Classic Who like some demi-god trying to create it in his image.

The christmas special was a cheesy rom com, woke mess. The writing is killing it.
