- Visitors at Disney California Adventure Park on Thursday were in for a shock when they saw an animatronic Spider-Man hit the wall during a routine stunt show at Avengers Campus.
In the video posted to Instagram by Darren Lee, the Spider-Man can be seen launched off of a building on the right side of the screen, eventually crashing into the slats on the building on the left.

Update: The animatronic has been FIRED. He was told he has to clean out his desk, and turn in his tights. His robot family is said to be distraught.
Then he moved on after his experience working, giving his life to a company for so many years just to be dropped in an instant. He took a new job at a pizzeria, more friendly to malfunctioning animitronics. They were so impressed with his resume that they hired him as the star of the show, a bear by the name of Freddy.

Can you imagine being a kid young enough thinking this was Spider-Man and seeing this? No amount of ice cream is going to erase that memory away.
Spidey gets thrown, and crashes all the time.. Unless seeing the dead body of a real actor, the kids would just think he's hurt momentarily, especially knowing Disney the prob had the spidey actor run out to keep the illusion going, and save face, showing the kids he's alright.

This is why you people need to stop raising your children to grow up as carbon copies of their beloved little superheroes/superheroines such as Spider-Man, Superman or Wonder Woman. Venom would've straight aced this stunt, and you all KNOW it.

Meanwhile, Venom's THIRD full-length feature film in which he is to reprise the lead role has only just been recently announced. Venom has received to date 2 feature films with a starring role, along with one of those beloved "SPIDER-MAN" films (in which he played a mere supporting role) where he was deliberately made to look like the bad guy, unnecessarily brooding jerk and bully to 5 year-old little Tommy J and Susie Q sitting right there in front role, rooting for Spidey.
Spider-Man has been running his mouth plenty ENOUGH.
He can't even complete a back flip onto the top of a building safely.
It'd be cool if they prepared a line on the script that says something like: "Ouch, ok, that actually hurt" for these kind of situations.

Lol I remember going to universal studios years ago and we were watching a spiderman show and mary Jane is singing to the song I need a hero. As she is singing to the song spiderman was supposed to come out on a line the actor was hold to make him look like he was swinging in on a web but it malfunctioned and he never came out. It was soo funny because she kept saying I need a hero like 3 times which was the cue for the actor to come in and never came in🤣🤣🤣 I think the best part of the show was the blooper🤣🤣

While this IS real, they really should clarify that the other time it happened was a fake. The person who posted literally showed how they created it in Blender (animation suite) and fooled people.
It's weird how no one is actually pointing out how fake this one looks too. Slow video down and look at the legs and how it stops spinning and starts spinning opposite direction before it hits the building also it doesn't rag doll like a normal object would after hitting the building.

@@leonard5033 it was literally done on Blender and it hit the same spot. As we can see here if it were real that paneling should've broken. There are clips from later in the day of workers up on the roof taking down the broken panels and slotting in new ones.
