My college roommate from Washington State University was on a subway in New York (might have been Connecticut) while working as a nanny for the summer and took a seat next to a random man. She looked over to recognize him as Peter White who played Lincoln "Linc" Tyler. We used to watch All My Children all the time during our years of living together in various housing on campus. We all loved it. She was really excited to be next to him but didn't have the nerve to strike up a conversation with him. But when it came to her stop to get off she did turn to him and smiled and said "Say hi to everyone in Pine Valley for me" and he winked at her and she exited the subway. I love that story.
Rest in Peace David Canary. Their comments on him made me tear up.
Jesse Hubbard was such a unsung hero on all my children. He doesn’t get enough credit for what he did for that show and Daytime.
Tad the Cad, I was 13 and fell in love with him. So Dreamy and now he's a Silver Fox. They All look Fantastic. Miss AMC

I was devastated when this show cancelled. I recorded it everyday and watched it after work. I miss you all so much❣️💔
I use to set my vcr to record them and watch when i got home from work. I'd record AMC, OLTL AND GH.. my favorites and I wished they'd come back on.
I tape it for a week and i would watch it on the weekend. They always left you hang on a Friday.
@@helloyall4355 I worked at an insurance company and next store was a drug store and on my lunch hour I'd go down stairs to the TV's and watch it.
They rarely mention that Jesse and Angie were the first black actors that they gave a leading major storyline to. The soaps were notorious over the years for only giving supporting roles to actors of color. Darnell and Debbie were magic. They were a Romeo & Juliet type story. The acting on AMC was always the best. The writing was great too for many years until the latter years. Would love to see them do a reboot with a new twist on a cable network.
I started watching as a child when Tad was little blond boy. The most socially conscience soap ever. Brilliant! It had drama, comedy and tragedy. Agnes sent me a beautiful letter when I was a teenager she was really sweet. I cut many a class watching the show. Loved Ray, Billy, Ruth, Joe, Tara, Phil, Dixie, Tad, Phoebe, Billy Clyde, Nina, Cliff, Liza, Adam, Brooke, Mark ,Tom, Angie, Opal, Erica, Adam, Stuart and the original Benny and of course Grandma Kate!🤗
And of course Palmer!😙

When Soaps were about who was sleeping with who this week. The steamy sex scenes.
In college I scheduled my classes so I could watch the show at least 2 or 3 times a week! Many talk about how they watched because their mother or grandmother did. Not me. Back in junior high I got addicted when I was home sick for a week. I begged my grandmother, the least likely person on the earth to ever watch a soap, to watch for me. Life before VCRs & DVRs lol After a few months she got as addicted as I was!!
I would give anything for a good reboot of this show! It's an absolute crime what they did to it the last couple of years, to try to kill off the viewers. They didn't take into account how fine the acting was. I miss my friends and Pine Valley!!
All my Children was the best soap, it was the only one that I was ever interested in. I watch it from beginning to end....i was so sad when it ended.

I remember David Canary on Bonanza. Great actor on both shows. Loved him playing brothers Adam and Stuart.

so true because as Michael said, people remember it as a sight gag, but Cady really brought the back story to what Tad was really doing

I have loved you all since I was 16, I have deeply loved Michael because I can see his sparkling sweet soul and I mean I LOVE HIM. I am 54 know and my life has a hole in my heart. You all are my family. I watched you with my Grandma ,Mother and Aunt.This is not fair. I recognize how hard you all worked. It was crazy. So much respect for your craft.

I still have Tad & Dixie episodes taped on VCR tapes. My favourite scene was Tad trying to convince Dixie he was alive after his bridge fall. He remembered what was engraved on his watch, a wedding gift from Dixie. It was the best love 💕 story. Enjoyed this reunion video. Everyone looks great 👍. Thank you.
I love AMC, watched since the beginning. Michael Knight was my all time favorite! So many great couples; Tad and Dixie, Angie and Jessie, Edmond and Maria, Mateo and Haley, Leo and Greenlee, so many. Ground breaking story lines. The best actors and the best soap ever. Please do a prime time version of AMC.

This is a treat to see. I was a regular dancer in "The STEAM PIT" ...that Erica Cane owned. Worked with Tad & Jessie & Angie at the disco in Pine Valley...wonderful memories for me.
Each of you were extremely nice on set. Proud to have AMC on my resume!!

This was fantastic! Loved seeing everyone. It would be amazing if AMC could be brought back again. There are plenty of stories left to tell. Plenty of fans wanting to see their show again. I think Cady could be instrumental getting it all together. She writes and directs and has a real feeling for this show.

Omg..i grew up on this show in the 70s+. I can remember so many times faking sickness to stay home and watch cliffhanger mondays...wow i was so young. Unbelievable when it ended. David canary...wow so terrific. I remember my mom saying "hey thats..." from her day. Lol

Also missing Taylor Miller ex Nina Warner. I always wanted her to come on the Young and Restless as the long lost love of Jack Abbott( Peter Bergman former Dr. Cliff Warner on AMC)😄😄😄😄 I supposed it would have been to much of a BIG wink for AMC FANS. 😆 LOL.

@@davita4436 Unfortunately at that time, the audience didn't respond to an interracial couple. Or the network over-reacted. This was 1989 and they quickly broke up the couple, brought Nina back, paired her with Cliff and Peter was let go. Debbi then quit AMC a year later to join a show on NBC called Generations which was a new show with a more integrated cast (one major family was white while the other was black). That show didn't last long, cancelled a year after Debbi joined
Wow, just found this now & am excited to watch it! Still miss the only soap I was loyal to! Great to see some of the cast again. I must say I had a crush on Michael. Even more in the later years when his humorous side really blossomed. If it was ever properly rebooted I'd sure watch!

This was awesome, but it REALLY makes me want my show back. Hopefully, there's room on ABC or Disney+ for some version of it. That, or bring Cady to GH so we can see "Tad & Dixie" again... what if Martin is actually Tad? He could have gotten a law degree in the last 8 yrs... and let Opal show up and tell him "Stop that accent, you sound like my grandpapy!" "Jinkies, mama." LOL At any rate, we really miss AMC and thank you all for doing this... and EW & People for putting it together.
I love everything about Jennifer Massey but especially her mahvelous voice! Not to mention my two early crushes, Darnell and Michael! So lovely to see them all well!

Loving these episodes of the AMC reunion series.
First of all, thanks for doing this. I started watching All My Children from the very beginning, and I loved it so much. When I got older, I had a VCR and would record if I was away from home and watched as soon as I got home. During a very bad part of my life, I had to just listen on TV band radio, and the stories gave me joy in the midst of agony. The idea that being a working woman would ruin the show is absurd, I even watched it with my retired uncle Ed when I visited him. He was retired from the army, and he loved the show. I am sorry it was too hard to watch online, but I tried. Love you all.
Biggest MISTAKE ABC has ever made was canceling AMC & OLTL; nothing they’ve put on instead has been worth watching!!!!! When are they gonna wise up & bring them back?????? If they cancel GH then I’m gone from ABC forever!!!!!! Miss y’all still.♥️

Jesse! Tad! Marion! This was like visiting old friends. I had to go back and watch episodes from 1982, 1983 and 1984 after viewing this reunion to relieve my AMC glory days. Thanks to you all for making me happy and smile during these days of COVID and protests.

I loved this and yall in all my children. I loved all you actors and actresses. I loved Dixie and Tad. as I kid I even had a barbie and ken doll daned Tad and Michael because I loved you both and Dixie. Now I watch Michael E. knight on General Hospital..

I loved this reunion. All My Children was, is, and always will be EPIC! I would skip school to watch or play sick on cliff hanger Friday. Loved Jessie and Angie! Seeing someone that looked like me in an awesome soap! Thanks for the memories!
I and so many of my family and friends would record AMC and watch it in the evening or on the weekends. Just because we were weren’t home during the day to watch it we still watched it one way or another. It was and still is sadly missed when it was canceled.
Really loving these. I have one more to go and I am going to hate when these are all over because I miss this show and the actors so much. Hopeful that one day this show can come back.

Holy mackerel, how can they all still be that handsome and beautiful? Seriously, not to be shallow (these are some talented people) but I was immediately struck by how Mr Knight is even better looking here. Larson looks more photogenic. I mean, all of them.

My 36th birthday my son and I was in NYC and my son took a picture of me and Darnell Williams outside of One Life To Live studios. This was before he went back to AMC. I heard he was coaching some of the younger actors on OLTL at the time. He was very nice to me. One of my best birthdays ever I have been a fan since I was 12 years old.☺
When did Tad inherit Adam Chandlers hair. 😦
My freshman year in college, the 'Tad the Cad', Marian, & Liza storyline was had EVERYBODY watching! LOL!

It's amazing to see everyone! Jennifer Massey I have missed since her last scene. OMG, Michael Knight gets sexier every time I see him. Funnily enough, I always thought Dixie's accent when she first arrived sounded a lot like Loretta Lynn. Now I've got to go watch old AMC episodes.

Victoria Johnson And who could ever forget Phoebe, Brooke’s Aunt she was the Grand Dame of Pine Valley, always scheming but Langley softened her up a bit, both were Unforgetable, Also Donna & Chuck, Trevor, Hayley’s Uncle ( Kelly Ripa), Mateo, Maria & rest of Santos Family, Edmund & OMGoodness I could go on All day, so many characters that were like family to us all cause they came into our home every day for all those years, I watched from beginning to the end, and when they were gone forever it was like we lost part of our family. I cried every day at 12:00 for over a month. Then OLTL was gone too!!!!!!! Still so angry with ABC for canceling them. I’m holding on to General Hospital, only thing on Daytime now worth watching on ABC so they better keep it or this viewer is gone. And speaking of View, The View is the WORST show on ABC period!!! They want to cancel something that should be it!!! Then bring back our beloved Soaps!!!!!!
Never forget Phoebe in the wheelchair when she could walk. Paul busted her doing exercises. And having the best Benny sneak her booze while she was in the slammer.But it was really booze.🤗
David was a very kind, humble person on the set. I had the pleasure of being an extra on the show back in 2005.
I grew up with these people They were my family and then all of a sudden they were gone. Just not right You don't just leave your family. Bring them back pine valley needs to be where they need to be home.
I didn't expect to be as drawn into this social distancing AMC chat as I was. This get together is absolutely wonderful and highlights AMC and it's cast in the most thoughtful, heartfelt way. Upon reflection our actors are as caught up with AMC as we fans were. Very heartwarming video, on several levels.A+

I want the show to come back, whether it be as a new Online inception or Broadcast TV - but there's absolutely no reason it 'can't' come back - everyone is a little older - so what - we are all older too - and it's reflective of everyday life - it NEVER SHOULD have been cancelled to begin with - the people at ABC-TV didn't even attempt to offer an abridged version of the show ~ it doesn't need to be an hour - a 30 minute segment a day would be fine ~

It was online a few years ago. But at the time, there was the lawsuit from ABC and it killed it.
Startrek1965 Yes, There was also a legal issue between some of the actors that went to other shows that forced them to go back till they were resolved. But I remember it being online but I didn’t have internet so I couldn’t watch. I think that was a problem for some of the other older fans as well. Still wish they would bring them back to ABC, so sick of talk shows & I can’t stand The View anymore, all they do is fight about politics!!!!! ☹️

Grew up watching this show. Hated that it changed later in the late 2000s and how ABC axed both shows. I would like the show to come back one day too but it's been too long. So many actors have passed. David Canary (Adam/Stuart), Marj Dusay, (Vanessa),John Callahan (Edmund) Matthew Cowles (Billy Clyde) to name a few. But maybe it could work. But I'm glad they're doing this on the 50th year anniversary of the show. I was afraid they weren't gonna do anything.
I have to say the AMC 2013 reboot was straight up 🔥🔥 With the Limited Budget and the amount of an small cast they made it work!
I don't think it's too late at all.Look at the actors and actresses we have seen on these reunion shows. They all look great they all look like they could carry on. And rather than Having A palmer Cortland Or an Adam chandler, who of course will be greatly missed, I can easily see au show we're Tad and Dixie are the central family sort of like ruth and Joe, but with a little some more spice.I could go down the line but start with the core of the old cast added new young talent who are portraying their children or grandchildren And I think it would be 1 heck of a show. I know I'd tune in everyday! Especially if they brought back some of the writers that worked under the Agnes Nixon school of all my children

In a recent setting, similar to this 1, Jacob young was on and he said that there's been talk of an AMC reboot!So I'm wondering if the reason we're seeing so many of these actor and/character reunions is because there is something in the works and they're trying to bring back the fan base, or perhaps to gauge the interest.I know I had heard rumors about it before but to hear Jacob,And I could see them bringing him back with jr chandler being a major character having taken over chandler enterprises, well I really think there's something to this and I'm praying I'm right!

One of the two soaps I ever followed. (The other was Dark Shadows.). I saw the very first episode and was hooked. The Martin's, Tlyers and Brent's captured my 14 year-old imagination. The stories and characters kept my attention for decades.
Two generations of my family watched All My Children. My Grandmother started watching it and fell in love Erica Kane. I would watch it with her when I would stay with her and it was so much to me to watch her enjoy the show. I started watching when Angie, Jessie, Jenny, Greg and Liza came on board and watched it through college and from time to time after that. Whenever I heard what I think is the original theme song I would think of my Grandmother and smile. She always spoke of the incredible writing and the strong women on the show, I guess she saw herself because she was strong, loving, independent woman like many of the characters on the show. Thank you for your years of dedicating your time and talent to those of us lucky enough to watch you.

AWWWW!! I am So glad I came across this video! It's been a long long time since I watched AMC! I loved Tad Martin and especially Jesse Hubbard!! Gosh a mighty, what memories this brings back.. does anyone remember watching Jack from Y&R playing on AMC, he was so in love with this one girl and she was so pretty, but her father didn't like Jack or whatever his name was back then.. and I seem to remember him climbing on a ladder up to her window to see her.. Awe.. Loved the story lines back in the day as well! There was also another young boyfriend/girlfriend on there and I don't remember.. all I do remember is that I was broken hearted when either she died or they broke up.. If anyone can fill in the blanks.. let me know.. Thank you and Blessings to all the characters on AMC!

this was my favorite of the et amc reunions. i miss the 70s and 80s amc. if only the could have gotten kim delaney and debbi morgan, this would have been just about complete.
I'm so glad *EW* did this! I wish my mom was alive to see it. I grew up watching *AMC* with my mom. Then around 1980 she could record it on the VCR while at work. My dad and I would often join her watching it that evening.
We were all very upset when the show ended. I think it might have been a little easier to take if *all* of the ABC soap operas went away. But they didn't. And it just made losing *AMC* that much harder. For her especially, as it stopped airing less than a year after my father's passing. And then she passed away three years later.
This may simply be me projecting, because I always wanted her to be happy. I say that because ultimately, she was a very resilient woman.
Thomas Kelly I’m sorry about your parents passing. I lost AMC at the end of 2011 then my Dad died in Jan. 2012, then right after OLTL was gone, I remember so many famous people died that year also that I was fans of, so that was a really hard year. I lost my Mom last year after a long illness that took a toll on our family & we miss her so much. So please don’t wish away the only soap I have left, General Hospital, it’s the only thing on ABC in the afternoon worth tuning in for.
I watched it for 26 years and it was the only soap I watched.

McTavish's writing was atrocious.
I was stunned when they killed Dixie. Supposedly, Cady was let go because she objected to Tad murdering Greg Madden (Ian Buchanan). Cady thought it was out of line for Tad's character and she made her objections known to the writers and producers. As Cady said, to put her in line, they killed Dixie off in a senseless way (poisoned pancakes). I remember the Soap Opera Digest cover that said Dixie might die. There was a serial killer on the loose and they had four female character on the cover (Dixie, Babe and 2 others characters) and it said one of these will die. I didn't imagine it would be Dixie.
Please bring AMC back for 30 minutes in the evening!!! Please it can be once a week. Please bring it back!! If not WHY????

One morning in 1980's I jumped up to go to mobile gas station and i looked a mess. In walks in Darnell. I could only say "hello" because I look so bad. I wanted to ask for autograph but left out the store quickly. The gas station in L.A. on Washington & Crenshaw. Darnell did say a quick "hello". U r right Darnell these were precious memories for all the fans. 😊😊
