Oh my goodness I love that these reunions are happening. All this time later, I still love and miss this show and wish it was on. That baby swap story line that crossed over with OLTL was such a big deal! It was like a Marvel Avengers movie, it was just huge. Loved seeing these actors reunite. Thank you Entertainment Weekly.

I remember when Babe was recast - no offense to the replacement actress at the time but the character wasn't the same after that - nevertheless the show was great and NEVER SHOULD HAVE been cancelled by ABC TV - it is time to reboot ALL MY CHILDREN !

@@juliemarks5920 Agreed - both actresses were great. I wouldn't say they were iconic but part of an iconic soap. To be objective Erica Kane and most of her loves, Adam Chandler, Palmer Courtland, Ruth Warwick and maybe Cliff and Nina were the most famous and iconic storylines stars.
Yes! Kate Collins was amazing! Natalie Marlowe was my fave AMC character hands down!

Babe was my daughter's favorite character growing up. Now 23, she will still say she feels "Babe-ish" when she feels fun and crazy.

I had no idea that David Canary had Alzheimer's disease. Even when he came back to help out with the online reboot I could tell that he wasn't well, but it didn't seem like he wasn't "Adam Chandler" at all.

JR and Babe were much better together then Jamie and babe, the writers tried so hard, but it was never going to work. Alexa and Jacob had much better chemistry. You can’t fake good chemistry, you just can’t you either have it or you don’t. Some of us used to call him Lamie ( Instead of Jamie )
And yet, they’re married now in real life and have three kids. Go figure!
Lori McCaskill yeah, yet they had 0 on air chemistry ( no matter how hard the writers tried ) it was never gonna work. Personal chemistry is different.
Please come back even if it where just one night a week, which would be awesome!

Jacob young is a great person
It is amazing how fans of this show like a lot of the more "minor" players besides the big wigs - David Canary, Ruth Warwick, Michael E Knight, James Mitchell and of course the big star Susan Lucci. Brian Frons should be tarred and feather and never work a day for cancelling AMC and OLTL. The reboot was not good online. It was a cheap replica missing some of the key characters including Susan Lucci.
TBH I was never a fan of Megan McTavish's writing. She wrote great characters like Kendall, Zach, & Babe, but the storylines she wrote weren't my favorite.
She sucked as a writer.
I agree. At heart, Megan seemed mean-spirited (it's actually documented that she was) and it came through. I couldn't believe some of the dialogue coming out of the character's mouths at times. You don't use your pen to enact petty revenge on actors you're disgruntled with. It hurts the show in the end.

It’s great to see these familiar faces again. Watching AMC as a kid, I found it so bizarre how J.R. and Babe were portrayed as this “complex” supercouple when it was honestly a cut and dry abusive relationship. Then juxtaposing it with the Maggie/Jonathan abuse storyline (which was tame in comparison to J.R.’s abuse) added extra layers of oddness for me.
Justin trying to act like his body isn't still great lol. I just saw him on Sweet Magnolia's on Netflix and he is hot as ever
I know it's not right and it's superficial, but Justin is so incredibly hot he actually made me say "WOW" when he came on the screen. If Billy Miller isn't the hottest guy in the room you KNOW he's hot.

Actually it was Andrew Ridings. He only lasted a few months in 2003. Then the character was sent out of town and returned later that year as Jacob Young

What was that reaction to John Callahan? The looks on their faces were telling. That did not seem favorable. They didn't want to say anything, then what was said was not that he was at all a great guy but overtly going around complimenting him as a person or a friend.
well most of them didn't work with John. He left the show in 2005, before Billy even came on. I think they just didn't really know him well
