- Part 2 includes a RARE Post Cereal sponsor opening to the original 2nd season version theme song, the rarely seen appearance of Barbara Eden guest starring as Jeannie (inside of her bottle with altered bottle set) on The Andy Williams Show (Dec.11, 1966), Barbara Eden (in Jeannie costume) receiving a plaque from the City of Los Angeles for being an honorary WAC recruiter (1968), and a special 1969 interview with Hayden Rorke speaking about I Dream of Jeannie moving to a new night for season 5 along with his thoughts on how Jeannie and Maj. Nelson getting married will affect the show!
The Hayden Rorke (Dr. Bellows) interview near the end was worth the wait
That was wonderful especially the interview with Dr Bellows! Ive never ever seen him interviewed before,He seems like a real nice man
the dr bellows interview was terrific.....fascinating piece of pop culture history
Thank you!
Thank you especially for the “Dr. Bellows” interview. Very interesting to hear his perspective at the beginning of Season 5.
Kimberly Beck was a guest star on I Dream of Jeannie. She played a timid 11 year old girl. She was in Friday the 13th The Final Chapter(1984).
Very interesting! I never knew that. Thank you for sharing!
Wow, I did not know that General Foods sponsored I Dream of Jeannie,I hope there are some rare cast sponsor commercials in existence somewhere.😊
I have been searching for (any) cast commercials for years. There are some still shots of Barbara (as Jeannie) inside the bottle from season 2 (one holding a box of "Baggies" and another holding a bottle of "Ajax." There HAVE to be some commercials of those out there somewhere! If they would just surface. Thank you for your comment! :)
I'm looking for those to surface, as most know, the C/P company were primary presenters of the second season.!@@brentonnoel5189
The sponsor billboard around :10 was V/O'd by Bill McCord
I wonder how did the 2nd season arrived here in Brasil back in the late 60s if with this old original version.
